Jaleel White is married!
The Family Matters alum and author, 47, — whose new book 'Growing Up Urkel' comes out Nov. 19 — said "I do" to tech executive Nicoletta Ruhl at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles on May 4.
"It was important for all of the people that carry an impact on our daily lives to be present and for each and every one of them to enjoy themselves and feel as though they were part of something intimate and meaningful," Ruhl tells PEOPLE of the couple's 175-guest celebration.
The festivities featured neutral decor and included "5 star food" and plenty of good music. "We had three DJs throughout different parts of the wedding and each were phenomenal," says White. But the bride and groom's biggest priority on their special day was making sure they had "enough time to spend with the people who have had a positive impact on our lives and continue to support us daily."
After exchanging vows, (this is White's first marriage) Ruhl and the actor, who is dad to 14-year-old daughter Samaya, celebrated with their guests including Omar Miller, Lamorne Morris, Adam Ray, Hannah Stocking, Mekhi Phifer, Alyson Felix, Camilla Belle and Sina Sadighi over a dinner of filet mignon and branzino with vegetables.
The pair then surprised the crowd with an outfit change and a choreographed dance to "Ain’t No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye.
White and Ruhl —who swam at Yale as an undergrad and received her business degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business —first met during the pandemic when they both worked out at UCLA's track.
The sports technology business executive debuted their relationship on Instagram on New Year's Day in 2022, sharing photos of the pair cuddled up together as they celebrated the holiday. "New year, same peeps 🎈," she captioned the post.

Apploff has spent 15 years at the company, working on a host of game shows including Beat Shazam, Game of Talents, Mental Samurai, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, The Wheel and Lotería Loca. Prior to joining the company, she gained her game show experience working on America’s Got Talent and The Marriage Ref for NBC as well as Match Game, Password and Press Your Luck for ABC.
In her new role, Apploff will be responsible for casting all contestants and celebrities and nurturing the relationships between hosts and partnering networks across the company’s diverse portfolio of IP.
Gelfand has been with the company for two years, beginning as an executive assistant. In his new role, he will help shape Apploff Entertainment’s current slate, collaborating with producers, showrunners and creative teams.

The 1% Club has been pulled off air this weekend after a contestant died shortly after filming the ITV show.
Steven Wong didn't get the chance to see his appearance when the popular game show, fronted by comedian Lee Mack, returned to screens last Saturday night with another set of 100 contestants hoping to win the £100,000 cash prize by answering a question only 1% of the population should know.
And viewers were left devastated to learn that 52-year-old Steven – who revealed he almost landed a part in Hollywood film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when he was 10 – had passed away since filming, as producers dedicated the episode to him.
Though he managed to get to the 50% question in the quiz show, which is now the most popular on TV, Steven didn’t make it all the way to the end. Fellow contestants Daniel and Mitul were the only ones left to answer the 1% question and managed to walk away with a staggering £99,0000 in prize money.
Paying their respects, TV bosses posted an emotional tribute at the end of Saturday’s show with a sombre message written in white lettering on a black background, which simply read: "In memory of Steven Wong. 1972-2024."
Though The 1% Club has just been commissioned for two more series, eagle-eyed viewers noticed it was absent from the TV schedule this weekend – despite a message on their Twitter account saying: “Thanks for watching folks! Don’t forget to tune in next week for brain teasers! #The1PercentClub.”
Fans were quick to point out the error, as it has been replaced by James Bond film Casino Royale, which will air from 8pm. It is thought that channel execs also wanted to avoid going up against the Eurovision Song Contest, as the final is on BBC1 from 8pm on Saturday night.
One viewer asked: “Is the show even on next week?” Another stated: “Two weeks’ time unless we’ve moved nights next week!” A third said: “You’re not on next week because Casino Royale is on next Saturday.” A fourth echoed: “Hey, wait a minute. You’re not on next week. Replaced by Casino Royale.” While a fifth added: “Love the show! Any chance of a celebrity version?”
During his appearance on the show last week, Steven regaled viewers with his story of how he got down to the final two for a part in the 1981 Indiana Jones movie starring Harrison Ford. He said: "I didn't realise this but apparently we got down to the final two and it was me and another kid. Don't forget this was only when I was about 10!" leaving many viewers, and host Lee, amazed.
The role eventually went to Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan and Steven told Lee he had found his path elsewhere as he worked for a utility company during his stint in the game show."Wow! And you got down to the final two!" Lee responded after hearing of Steve's short encounter with film fame, before quipping: "You say you don't like to talk about it, you brought it up on national television."
On a more positive note, let's get somebody with the following qualifications:
Someone who can stream for more than one year of his or her own time, can be of some certain variety or within the realm outside of video games (i.e. Artwork, Music), viewership numbers on averages and the category most important: Play Jackbox games if necesssary. Please help me introduce you all to.................

GET INTO THE MIX THIS SUMMER WITH "WAYNE BRADY: THE FAMILY REMIX," PREMIERING JULY 24 ON FREEFORM AND NEXT DAY ON HULU
Family Announces Premiere Date in Exclusive VIDEO
"Wayne Brady: The Family Remix" will premiere on Freeform on Wednesday, July 24, at 10:00 p.m. EDT, next day on Hulu.
Everyone knows Wayne Brady - actor, comedian, host, singer and preeminent multihyphenate of this generation - but there's more to the man seen onstage. What happens when such an iconic entertainer peels back the curtain on the realities of an unexpected life? In "Wayne Brady: The Family Remix," Brady has turned the term "modern family" on its head. He's still best friends with his ex-wife, soulmate and business partner, Mandie Taketa. Together, they co-parent their 21-year-old daughter, student and aspiring artist Maile Brady, as well as run their production company, A Wayne & Mandie Creative ("Wayne Brady's Comedy IQ"). Jason Fordham, Mandie's life partner since 2009, handles the family's cinematography and post-production, and Mandie and Jason have an almost 3-year-old son, Sundance-Isamu.
With Brady at a sudden crossroads in his life, "Wayne Brady: The Family Remix" offers an intimate look into his blended family's personal life, revealing unexpected points of view and values that most people (including his own family) have a hard time understanding. People see their social media posts - from vacations to dancing in TikToks - but what's behind the joyful 15 seconds of fun? Their real life is not always as easy and as simple as it seems.
"Wayne Brady: The Family Remix" is a production of Fremantle and A Wayne & Mandie Creative.
A legend is set to take the stage to help celebrate Disney Night on American Idol. TV Insider can first exclusively reveal that Jenifer Lewis will be performing “Dig A Little Deeper” from The Princess & The Frog on the May 12 episode.
The award-winning actress/activist, stage performer, and author starred in Black-ish for eight seasons. She can be seen most recently as Patricia in the Showtime series I Love That For You and guest-starring on the Not Dead Yet Season 2 finale. The Broadway star was also recently revealed as Miss Cleocatra on The Masked Singer. This multi-hyphenate has also sold out the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022. Lewis, who voiced Mama Odie in the 2009 classic animated film, is going to be accompanied by seven-time Grammy winner Terence Blanchard on the trumpet.
Blanchard was the featured musician for the movie and produced the music that can be heard in the line queue when the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride opens this summer at Walt Disney World Resort at Magic Kingdom and by the end of the year at Disneyland Resort. Mama Odie, Riders are going to meet up with Princess Tiana, Naveen, jazz-loving alligator Louis, and a brand-new cast of characters as they host a one-of-a-kind celebration during Mardi Gras season. And in the spirit of the iconic Splash Mountain, it replaces, those who travel down the waterway can expect to get wet in the process.
Let's end it with a duo who should've been at Eurovision because..............IDK.
