Paying the Cost to Be The Boss

Bank on this, Sasha....

Hosted by Susan Calman, the team of five contestants soon become divided as one contestant becomes The Boss - and then has to use judgement and tactics to decide which player is best suited to answer a mixture of general knowledge and brainteaser puzzles.
Making the right choices is crucial and The Boss has to identify each player’s strengths and weaknesses early on. The right decisions will ultimately decide how much money can be won at the end of the show.
But, to win the cash, The Boss has to stay in power - and at the end of every round, the remaining contestants could choose to challenge him or her, in a tense and cut-throat head-to-head battle that will see one player eliminated. At the end of the show, only The Boss and the one surviving player remain. As their loyalty is truly tested in one final twist, who will take home the cash?
- Test your tactics!
- Set-up your strategy!
- Generate your game plan!
- Point out the perfect players!
The BBC are looking to hear from men and women aged 18+ to take part.

For Corrinne Olympios and Robby Hayes....the Lovemaking paradise.

Corinne, who finished in fourth place on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor, and Robby, who finished as the runner-up on JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, have signed on for Season 4 of Bachelor in ParadiseEntertainment Tonight reported.

Filming reportedly begins within the next several weeks, and the upcoming edition will mark both Corinne and Robby's first time in Paradise

Corinne, 25, was the girl everyone was talking about on Season 21 of The Bachelor because she led with her sexuality, napped through a Rose Ceremony, called her "vagine" platinum, had a nanny named Raquel at home, and made hilarious catty comments about Nick's other bachelorettes.

Since her time on the show, Corinne has launched a line of #TeamCorn clothing and products. She has joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise despite rumors she already has a boyfriend back home in Miami, FL.

Corinne joked with ET about having fabricated a boyfriend in order to drum up interest in her potential Bachelor in Paradise gig.

Reports circulated a couple of months back Corinne would be getting her own reality spinoff, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Since competing for JoJo's heart and losing to Jordan Rodgers, Robby has been working as a model.

The former competitive swimmer and his best bud from The Bachelorette's twelfth season, Chase McNary, both moved from Colorado to Venice Beach, CA, to live in an epic bachelor pad together with former Bachelorette Emily Maynard's ex-fiance Jef Holm

He used to be the host of Millionaire before Chris Harrison, but now Terry Crews, aka T-Dog from Battle Dome tackles animation.

Bron Animation has added Maya Rudolph, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski and Sean Cullen to the cast of its production of The Willoughbys, based on the popular children's book of the same name by Newbery® Award winning author Lois Lowry, it was announced today by Bron Animation President Brenda Gilbert. Rudolph will be THE VOICE of Nanny, who looks after the Willoughby children. Crews is voicing the candy mogul, Commandor Melanoff, and Short and Krakowski give voice to Father and Mother Willoughby, parents so in love with each other they forget they even have children. Cullen voices the twin boys Barnaby A and B. They join previously announced Ricky Gervais, who will serve as the film's narrator.

Published in 2010, the story follows the four Willoughby children - Tim, Jane and the twins, Barnaby A and B. When abandoned by their selfish parents, they must embark on a wild adventure through the modern world, colliding with a cat, an orphan, a nanny and a candy mogul, to reunite with the "family they were born into," only to discover along the way the value of love in the "family they choose."

The Willoughbys is being written and directed by Kris Pearn with Cory Evans co-directing, and is currently in pre-production at Bron's studio in Burnaby, BC. Bron's Brenda Gilbert, Aaron L. Gilbert and Luke Carroll are producing. Gervais serves as an executive producer on the project, alongside Jason Cloth of Creative Wealth Media.

Turning from animation to singing with a 30-second song break with Lilbumblebear which begins by time I say.......

Back to the news.

On to Sportsball stuff.

Dating a Warrior?

Strange....but true.

Rachel Lindsay once dated Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors.

According to a source, the Season 13 The Bachelorette star dated the Golden State Warriors small forward, 28, in college, Us Weekly reported.

The insider revealed Lindsay, 32, and Durant -- an eight-time NBA all-star who was drafted No. 2 overall in the 2007 NBA Draft -- were romantically involved while they both attended the University of Texas at Austin.

"They broke up when she went to law school," the insider told Us, adding that while Lindsay and Durant split, "it was a pretty serious relationship.

The relationship ended by the time WNBA season rolled around. Strange......but true.

Daddy in a Dome

Minute Maid Park. Oracle Arena. United Center. Ford Field. Nissan Stadium. Funderdome?

That's right, which is known for making Danica Patrick the spokesperson once is helping ABC's new show Steve Harvey's Funderdome out to hepl the people with ideas. And by help......they need it!

I would like to know....

Why is this news?

If you think Ryan Seacrest needed to get shuteye, well think again. James Corden gets a busier schedule.....and both need ASMR videos..........badly.

Can this be true?

In an attempt to keep society on its toes, same sex couples are more than welcome to be invited on Love Connection. Somehow, Chuck Woolery is angry........very angry.

And now here's don't know about Beat Shazam.

Hosted By Jamie Foxx
The host of Beat Shazam is Jamie Foxx. In brief, he is an American actor, singer, songwriter, record producer, and comedian who can now add game show host to his long and impressive resume. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to win a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show in the same way that he has won an Academy Award for his acting and two Grammy Awards for his singing.

Five Executive Producers
On a related note, Jamie Foxx is one of the executive producers for the new game show. However, Beat Shazam doesn’t have one, two, or even three executive producers. Instead, it has five executive producers in total, who are Jamie Foxx, Jeff Apploff, Mark Burnett, Rich Riley, and Lauren Zalaznick. Out of these five executive producers, Jeff Apploff stands out for having created the concept along with Wes Kauble.

Song ID
Song identification is the basis of Beat Shazam. Each time, there will be three teams with two players per team, who will compete to name the songs that they hear based on the four possibilities presented to them. Saying the right answers enables them to build up their bank while also staving off elimination at the end of each round.

The Name Is Literal
The show’s name is literal. This is because the last team standing has the chance to face off against the Shazam app. For those who are unfamiliar with the name, the Shazam app is a service that lets its users ID music, movies, TV shows, and even advertisements based on the snippets played to it using a microphone. As a result, it has become one of the most popular apps out there, having been downloaded more than one billion times and used more than 30 billion times by October of 2016.
One Million Dollar Prize
It should be noted that the last round played against Shazam is much more challenging. For example, each round is no longer a multiple choice question, meaning that the players have to come up with the exact titles on their own with no other assistance whatsoever. Furthermore, should the team choose to proceed to the sixth and final question, one of them will have to step aside while the other take up the challenge, thus making matters even more challenging for them. However, just as how the challenge is greater, so are the potential rewards, as shown by the fact that beating the Shazam app on all six songs means winning the grand prize of $1,000,000.

(song stops)

And now for your Game Show Live! Crowning moment of awesomeness of excellence.

Nothing impossible about it, Andrew Titchmarsh got 10,000 pounds or $12,890 in US dollars playing Impossible. What did he do? Donate half of it to a hospice. Andrew Titschmarsh form the get the crown.

(song stops)

In keeping with the theme of Nashville, here's one from the's Mags Duval and a new hit.

That's all for now, but remember one thing: I don't believe in ghosts and the paranormal, but I believe in game shows and like Ekaterina, I can use card tricks by telling everyone if its higher or lower, so don't go pulling a rabbit out of your hat. That's what I expect and couldn't understand that. I'm not Blackstone or David Copperfield, but like any balloon artist, I can entertain you and I can understand why I report on game shows.

So until next time and all the on playas.

(song fades out)

Right now, we look ahead at a newer Fox Program.

If Name That Tune needed something to fufill an app dream and have 3 teams vie for the million, than Beat Shazam is no exception. In Fact....

Nobody could Beat Shazam in the demo on this first post-season Thursday, as the Fox game show debuted to a 1.2 rating (along with 3.6 million total viewers).
Leading out of that, Andy Cohen’s Love Connection reboot retained 3.4 mil and a 1.1.

Both episodes are now available on, the Fox Now app, Hulu, and On Demand.

Over on NBC, the celeb edition of American Ninja Warrior drew 4.2 mil/1.1, followed by Running Wild With Julia Roberts‘ 4 mil/0.9. Come 10 pm, the Peacock’s Red Nose Day special proper (2.7 mil/0.7) rose 23 percent and a tenth from last year. This year, over $35 million was raised for children in need.

Fox and NBC ran total viewers to a dead heat, but CBS’ Big Bang Theory rerun drew Thursday’s largest audience, with 6.4 million viewers

Guess Fox is making a comeback, huh?

Hey Chase fans, guess what?

When Bradley Walsh and his team packed up The Chase studio for their summer holidays, handing over their coveted 5pm slot to Rylan Clark-Neal and his new game show Babushka, they couldn’t have realised what a furore it would cause.

Viewers were apoplectic with rage that their favorite daily quiz show had apparently been axed. It hadn’t. It was – as they used to say in Friends – on a break. It didn’t even matter when Chaser Jenny Ryan (aka “the Vixen”) explained that they were having a few weeks off. Twitter went into meltdown.

The Chase returned to screens last night and viewers certainly seemed happy.

Babushka, hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal, premiered at the start of May and ran for the past four weeks with its first ever series.

The Chase last night returned with 2.4 million viewers at 5PM, with the series back regularly airing Mondays to Friday.

The show averaged 1.3 million viewers across its run after starting with 2 million for its first episode, a number it never managed to better.

Come the final episode last Friday night, just 850,000 viewers were watching.

Now here's something to get geeky about....

The Get-up. Everything geeky....with a Game Show Live! touch. Now from the old Wilton-North building in Grimsborough, here is our chief geek correspondent, Chris Killian.

Thank you Chris, now on with more news.

For a HSM alum, class is in session.

Fox on Tuesday announced that Vanessa Hudgens — fresh off an energetic hosting gig at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards — will join So You Think You Can Dance as a Season 14 judge, opposite Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy.

“I am so excited for Vanessa to join Mary and me on the judging panel for the 14th season of So You Think You Can Dance,” Lythoe — also an executive producer on the show — said in a statement. “There was instant chemistry in the audition rounds, and I know the SYTYCD fans will love her as much as we do. Vanessa is an accomplished artist and brings her own brand of enthusiasm and energy to our panel.”

The new season of So You Think You Can Dance premieres Monday, June 12 (8/7c).

Would Becky Lynch love this?

It looks as if Irish viewers will soon hear the rings of "The actual retail price is..." as The Price Is Right is set for a return.

Kite Productions, who make hit show Gogglebox, are behind the plan to re-make the popular quiz show for TV3 - and just like the original, contestants will win cash and prizes by guessing the price of retail items.

The Price Is Right first aired in the US in the 1950s, but went down a hit with viewers when Bruce Forsyth hosted it on ITV back in the '80s.

An industry source told the Irish Sun, "The Price Is Right is a proven hit so it will be good for TV3. But nothing is signed yet and the deal is still at the earliest stages."

Lucy Kennedy is the frontrunner to host the reboot.

Ding dong, the witch is.....going to a wedding?

Newlyweds will take part in a new BBC gameshow on their actual wedding day to win an epic honeymoon.

Variety reports that Wedding Day Winners is one of several entertainment shows that the BBC has commissioned since losing The Voice UK to ITV, with the show set to air on Saturday evenings on BBC One.

Each episode will see two couples compete against each other in a series of challenges and games on their wedding day to win a dream honeymoon.

Production on the show is already under way with it set to air next year. Wedding Day Winners is being made by Panda, the production company set up by Moira Ross, the former producer of The Voice in the UK.

It is hoped that Wedding Day Winners can follow the likes of Strictly Come Dancing in being a hit format in the US as well, with All3Media International set to distribute it internationally.

Following The Voice's exit to ITV, BBC One has run Let It Shine in its slot to cast a new boyband for the Take That musical.

Next up is another singing competition in the form of Pitch Battle which will be hosted by Mel Giedroyc and feature full-time judges Kelis and Gareth Malone, alongside guest judges including Will Young and soul legend Chaka Khan.

Pitch Battle is airing this summer on BBC One.
