It's time for Chris Stuckmann's Stuck @ The Movies. And today......

There's more.....

A no-Show battle

One voice contestant saw another combatant no-show the battles round on The Voice.

On behalf of coach Kelly Clarkson's team, Alexa, an 18-year-old from Upland, CA, and Hannah, a 21-year-old musician from Nashville, TN, were paired up to sing "Pray" by Sam Smith for their Battle, which aired last week on The Voice

However, show host Carson Daly announced before the Battle that Hannah "had to leave" for "personal reasons," allowing Alexa to sing their song alone and then automatically advance to The Voice's Season 14 Knockout Round.

When Reality TV World asked Alexa during a conference call when she discovered she'd be performing alone, Alexa replied, "It was before the performance."

"But I mean, I was a little upset to be honest because I was looking forward to performing with her," she continued.

"We were ready and it was just a good song. We worked well together. Kelly knew what she was doing when she put us together. And working with [adviser Hailee Steinfeld] and Kelly was fun and everything."

Once Alexa learned of Hannah's absence, the pressure was on Alexa to deliver an outstanding solo performance for the studio audience and four coaches -- Kelly, Alicia KeysAdam Levine and Blake Shelton

"It was a little awkward to be by myself for a Battle Round, but at the same time, I just took it as an opportunity to sing my heart out still," Alexa told Reality TV World.

"And the song is on iTunes and it came out really well, so I'm happy about that. But I'm excited for the Knockouts and just happy to be where I am."

And they....Kept it Spotless.

Nikki Bella And John Cena kept it spotless at the premeire of "Blockers."

The 34-year-old and 40-year-old showed PDA while attending the Los Angeles premiere of Cena's movie "Blockers."
Bella, who wore a silver minidress and grey thigh-high boots, was all smiles by Cena's side. The couple shared a sweet kiss as they posed for photos.
Cena plays Mitchell, a husband and father, in "Blockers," which co-stars Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz. The movie follows three parents (Cena, Mann and Barinholtz) as they attempt to stop their daughters from losing their virginities on prom night.
Cena and Bella attended the premiere just one day after celebrating the one-year anniversary of their engagement. The couple marked the occasion by dedicating sweet tweets to each other Monday.

Trivia games don't get much snarkier than You Don't Know Jack. And while Jackbox Party Packs have been steadily releasing over the past couple of years, it's been over five years since the last iteration of You Don't Know Jack.
There's been a big void since the Facebook version of the game was discontinued in 2015, but at PAX East, Jackbox Games announced that this void is about to be filled.
You Don't Know Jack is set to make its return later this year as one of the first games revealed for the upcoming Jackbox Party Pack 5. Faux game show host Cookie Masterson will return with new questions and new question types.
The big difference in this version is that it will integrate various features from recent Jackbox Games titles, like audience integration, streaming features, and the ability to play on a mobile device. In addition to that, the game will feature eight-player support for the first time.
The Jackbox Party Pack 5 will arrive this fall on PC, consoles, and other platforms, likely mobile and streaming platforms. Look for more information on this latest compilation in the months ahead, but in the meantime, learn more at the Jackbox Games website.

Proof that Donald Tang's Global Road Entertainment wants to be more than just an independent film powerhouse, the company on Monday unveiled that it has picked up global rights to the Game Show Network's quiz format Idiotest.
Since launching in 2014, Idiotest, hosted by Ben Gleib, has been a hit for Game Show Network, racking up more than 31.6 million total unique viewers over four seasons. The original U.S. version is produced by Little Wooden Boat Productions, which adapted the show from the popular app game.
Global Road will be shopping the Idiotest format, as well as the original U.S. show, to buyers at international TV market MIP TV in Cannes.

Over the course of history, skilled craftsmen helped shape the fate of mankind by constructing the most iconic weaponry known to man. Discovery Channel is bringing weapons of the past to life in the ultimate historical weapons building competition, MASTER OF ARMS (w/t). Inspired by age-old traditions, the all-new series brings today's best weapons smiths together to battle it out head to head, building the armaments that changed the course of history.
Centuries ago, the greatest empires leaned on the backs of weapon craftsmen to create the blades, bows, and bullets that would win wars and alter history forever. Now, modern master smiths will put their technical knowledge and ingenuity to the test giving insight into age-old building techniques - and the traditions, methods and craftsmanship that define them.
Each episode, three builders face-off in two historical challenges that call upon era-specific weaponry, from the firearms of the frontier to the blades of the Vikings. A former Army Special Operations Sniper will determine each weapon's velocity, accuracy, and durability in the armory and in the field, and a panel of expert Judges will score each build. With an elimination after each challenge, each week, only one weapon smith walks away with $10,000 and the title of "Master of Arms."
MASTER OF ARMS (w/t) is produced for Discovery Channel by Matador Content. For Matador Content, Todd Lubin, Jay Peterson and Brian Nashel are executive producers. For Discovery Channel, Chris Rantamaki, Matthew Vafiadis and Bill Howard are executive producers.

Mobile game show HQ Trivia today announced a few new in-app social features designed to make the game more enjoyable with friends. While the app has brought co-workers, family members, and friend groups together in real life, not everyone has a core group to play with at the 3PM and 9PM match times, at least not every day. So HQ is adding a new feature called "Friends on HQ," launching today in the UK with a US launch soon, to let you connect with friends, see who's actively playing in any given game, and compare high scores and wins.
According to TechCrunch, an HQ spokesperson says "this update forms the basis of a variety of new features that HQ will be rolling out soon, leveraging friends' connections." We don't know what form those new features will take, but it's not farfetched to imagine HQ launching group games, in the vein of pub trivia, or figuring out ways to incentivize people to play by encouraging friendly competition.

Los Angeles-based T Group Productions has partnered with comedian Wanda Sykes, Page Hurwitz and their studio Push It Productions to produce the competition format Throw Mama from the Game Show for the U.S. television market.
Throw Mama from the Game Show is a one-hour elimination game show that pits teams consisting of a mother and her millennial children against one another to beat the competition. At the same time, contestants will have to conquer challenges that test their relationships, mental capacities and physical finesse. Only one team will walk away unscathed and receive a cash prize to help smooth over any bruised familial feelings.
The series will be executive produced by T Group's Jenny Daly and Rob Lobl, alongside Wanda Sykes (pictured) and Page Hurwitz for Push It Productions.
