Buzzy Cohen is tackling another stage........Podcasting.

“Mr. Personality,” as series’ host Alex Trebek dubbed him, is teaming up with Audible to create an Audible Original series in which Cohen will share with listeners his sometimes unconventional, yet proven strategies to train for success, no matter what the field of study, Audible tells Heavy exclusively.
Cohen is self-developing the Audible Original which will be exclusively released on the platform in 2020.
The production will be written and performed by Cohen, who’s married to wife Elisha Levin, and works as a music executive in Los Angeles when not slaying the competition on Jeopardy!. The Columbia University grad is excited to share his personal tips with people through Audible, and plans to interview fellow top Jeopardy! performers as well, to give listeners a wide range of useful training tools, Audible told Heavy.

Alec Baldwin was in Michigan and Flint residents were excited.
U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee's office confirmed the actor, who played Jack Donaghy on NBC's "30 Rock" from 2006-13, was in Flint Wednesday to interview Kildee for an upcoming documentary on the Flint Water Crisis.
Baldwin talked to Kildee, D-Flint Township, about "his successful efforts to pass a $170 million aid package for Flint through Congress, including much-needed money to help the city remove lead pipes and expand health care services to those exposed to lead," Robyn Bryan, spokeswoman for Kildee told the Free Press.
The Detroit News said the untitled documentary from director Anthony Baxter has been in the works since 2015.

Former “American Idol” contestant Antonella Barba is facing federal charges after allegedly working as a courier for a drug ring last year, according to court documents.
Barba was arrested in October 2018 in Norfolk, Va., for “unlawfully, knowingly, and intentionally” possessing 100 grams of heroin with the intent to sell it. She pleaded not guilty and was later released on bond.
Last week, she was indicted in a series of 11 federal charges. They consisted of 10 counts of distribution or possession of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl with the intent to distribute and one count of conspiracy to distribute the same narcotics.
Barba competed on the sixth season of “American Idol” in 2007.  She made it to the top 16 singers before being eliminated. Jordin Sparks would go on to win the season. Between 2009 and 2015, Barba released eight singles and competed in an episode of “Fear Factor” in 2008.

We must pause for the first of 2 performances of Livewire! The first of which is from Epic Robot TV and it's a parody from Shame of Thrones, which is a musical blending in with Moana. Watch.

Where is Harlem, Alex?

Guess which's game show's son is in the food business?

Harlem Bespoke: Lucille's at the corner of 150th and Macombs Place is currently finishing up construction and the owner of the eatery has now been revealed.  An article in Fordham news mentions that an alumni named Matthew Trebek is opening his second restaurant in Harlem by the aforementioned moniker which should come to now surprise.  The younger Trebek has been an uptowner for a few years now and originally opened a popular Mexican spot called Oso on Amsterdam by 140th Street in Hamilton Heights back in 2016.  With that said, it appears that the local restauranteur will be introducing a more cozy cafe in Central Harlem that has a more historic appeal than the contemporary mix of the previous endeavor.  There will also be Lucille's pizza next door and this new arrival will be one of the best restaurants to debut uptown in the past couple of years if the food is anything like Oso: LINK

Quick pause right now for a birthday shout out.

So I would like to give a shout out to........Jordan Hass who turned 30 today. I've known this man for quite some time and as a game show fanatic, he seems to take a deep dive into the world and with his podcast, he proves it.

On this podcast, he takes one game show and conversates with a guest about it, plus news and a pricing game spotlight that you should know about. Think that's not enough for him? Well, he's also on Twitch.

Every Friday night, he dives through a whole 7 days of news and tells you why. And how!

Happy 30th Jordan. Here's hoping GSN or Buzzr may hire you in freelance.

Stop! and stare at this

If you thought seeing a Fashion show was this cool, then this dress from Moschino makes it way cooler.

This dress looks similar to the classic 1980s game show, Press your Luck, but we threw in this one for extra measure.

Now I wonder if they made a dress similar to Wheel of Fortune.....

Time for something we haven't done in a while....

It's time for Chris Stuckmann's Stuck @ The Movies. And today......

We Have entered March and this month of course, is Women's history month, so we've decided that our Bullseye bonus Island blonde ambition Audreyismusic is doing an acoustic version of the song "Red Flag" to end the work week on a good note.

That's all for now, but remember one thing:  How many personalities does it take for Austin make a podcast?
So until next time and all the on playas.

I'm suffering from a stroke of luck...

This week...a classic show is casting for a revamp.....

Millionaire needs judges.......seriously....

And why do we love conveyor belts? All this and....

We read your negative yelp reviews. Let's..............Get.....................Lit!!!!!!!!!!

Madison Brunoehler: From coast to coast..............

And Across America.....and the world.........this is..............

Now here is America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi2TheMax and this of course is  Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it. Let's get into it with......

 The Opening Toss-Up story.

PYL is casting.........again......and the interwebs are freaking game show fans right out!!!!!!

A casting notice went online for what appears to be a possible reboot of the 80s classic "Press Your Luck".
The show, owned by Fremantle and created by Bill Carruthers, was itself a reboot of a short-lived quiz show "Second Chance" from the 1970s. The show aired on CBS from 1983 to 1986, and rebooted for Game Show Network for 2002 to 2004.
Parsing the casting notice, there are references to ABC.
Contestants must be 21 years or older and legal residents of the United States.
So... ready to Press Your Luck? Click below!

As if that wasn't enough.....

Fresh off of a casting call for a new version of "Press Your Luck", Fremantle is apparently going deeper into its classic game show well for another long-dormant favorite - Card Sharks.
The Chester Feldman-created game of high-stakes acey-deucey is looking for contestants in the southern California area.
Originally a staple in the NBC daytime lineup during the late 70s & early 80s, it was rebooted twice - once in 1986 for CBS and again in 2001 for first-run syndication. A version of the game also played as part of CBS' "Gameshow Marathon" in 2006.

Contestants must be 21 years or older and legal residents of the United States.

29 Frames Entertainment

The groundhog outside the offices must've seen his shadow....because it's the Yay & Yawn of February.

The yay:   Jeopardy! Their all-star games brings in the bestest brains to converge together with Professor Alex in a battle for the million.

The Yawn: Trivia Crack and Laugh Exchange. The former brought in obscure questions to trip the longtime players up and the viewership seemed to be in the vein of HQ but others went to do other things like HQ Words, The Q and Confetti. The latter had this to say:

"We started Laugh Exchange because we believe that comedians deserve to be rewarded and compensated for their time and talent. And while that remains as true as ever, we’ve always planned to expand to helping millions of creators in every category - artists, filmmakers, musicians, designers, writers, performers - be rewarded as well.
If a creator is educating, entertaining or inspiring us, we want to help them receive the thanks and support that encourages their art.
Given that mission, we’re excited to announce our next chapter. Over the coming days, you’ll see our primary brand - including socially and on the web - move from Laugh Exchange to Payge. Payge provides creators with a single destination where they can ask for and receive support, regardless of where their content is published or consumed."

May they go off into the trivia app scrapyard in the sky.

After this commercial word, A judge tackles Millionaire.....and another one......and another one.......

You'll see why when Game Show Live returns.

(fade to break)

Madison: Some members of our viewing audience will receive....

A dinner date at Krystal, home of the all square slider burgers along with Sunrisers in the morning and free wi-fi. A southern tradition for decades, Krystal also does food delivery, too. Now back to our slider at 3rd, Pierre Kelly!

Me: Thank you Madi and welcome back.   Later on, the history of the characters of the 1994 video game.......Shaq-Fu.

he Got Talent format is heading back to China after Hunan TV partnered with Fremantle and Syco Entertainment.
The broadcaster has ordered a 13-part series based on the format that will be known locally as Dian Feng Zhi (World's Got Talent) and will air in April.
It comes after a local version of Got Talent aired on Shanghai Media Group's Dragon TV for five seasons from 2010.
The show will bring together a number of the most popular acts from over 30 of the Got Talent franchises around the globe. These performers will take to the stage in Hunan, China to compete in a massive global competition with the hopes of claiming the ultimate title of China's World Champion of Got Talent and a grand prize.

"This production will welcome many exceptional acts who've already featured in many Got Talents around the world. It will celebrate the cultural diversity and stories of ordinary people with extraordinary talents together on the world's biggest stage in Changsha, China. We are thrilled that our partners Hunan TV and Syco Entertainment share the same vision and have made this unique project possible."
Lester Hu, Head of Formats and International Business, Hunan TV added, "As China's leading content producer and broadcaster, we've always been looking for big ideas with global influence. What Hunan TV is really after is co-developing original content with our partners by engaging global creative into local market at the very beginning of the development process. We are excited about hosting this massive television event that promotes intercultural communication and appreciation. Combined with our in-house production expertise, we trust that Dian Feng Zhi Lu will make a splash in both local and international markets."

They say good love is hard to find.....but.....

most dates end in a disaster. Introducing.....

Relationship Disasters. A month of disastrous TV shows involving dating.
We found a rare discovery and it's called.....The Conveyor Belt of Love. Don't know what it is? Well....
Conveyor Belt of Love was a not-quite fly-by special romance contest in which five women check out thirty men on a conveyor belt. The belt stops for sixty seconds to enable the guys to make their cases, and if two girls pick the same guy, he gets to choose. In the end, each girl gets a guy.
If you thought MTV's dating classic Singled Out was good, this one on ABC in 2010 was a one-off polar opposite that would've worked well on late nights in syndication. One columnist in said this....
"I’m hesitant to use the word “breakout” in regard to any of the contestants on last night’s “Conveyor Belt of Love” premiere, but the fact remains that bachelorette Keiko (Tila Tequila meets Megan Hauserman) is destined for greatness!
Throughout the night she was cold, dismissive and brutally honest — flipping up her “Not Interested” sign and loudly announcing her lack of attraction whenever a sliding suitor indicated they may not mesh in the slightest. Keiko also took it upon herself to mock the other bachelorette’s choices despite selecting (and sticking with till the end) a speedo-clad himbo toting his mini-dog." also wrote this....
"If Conveyor Belt (and its contestants) tried a little less hard to beg for my attention and focused more on off-beat stories of love, I might continue watching. Otherwise, not interested."
You knew it was a hard pass on that one. Alright, one more. writes this....
"As far as what this show says about “love” or “modern dating,” obviously the answer is nothing. In fact, in the world of reality TV, which is emotionally retarded and intellectually stunted as a rule, I would be hard pressed (nullus) to find a show that says LESS about “love” or “modern dating” than Conveyor Belt of Love. “Modern love is all about sixty second attempts to get the good side of the paddle and then go on an unfulfilling afternoon date at a low-rent outdoor cafe surrounded by a second-tier camera crew.” No. But this show does tell us one thing about the way we live now: WE LOVE THINGS ON CONVEYOR BELTS STILL."
So, Conveyor Belt of Love takes a conveyor belt into a....

Relationship Disaster.

That's it for this week. Today's consolation prize is a can of black eyed peas. You know. For good luck.
Don't forget to email me at, Pierre Jason Kelly on FB and @Johnny_Arcade on twitter. Also I'm on Snapchat as MisterGSN and Instagram as Mister_WCW. We will return next Wednesday, and until we return, Play on playas.
