And now , we present a new segment entitled "A Robyn in a gilded Cage", where our own Game show Gypsy queen Robyn Cage does 1-minute covers in our broom closet next to the bathroom across from the old Pepsi vending machine. Today, she'll tackle Metallica.

You Got slimed!

ickelodeon is bringing their signature green calling card to stores, and I'm getting all the feelings. As every '90s kid knows, the network is pretty much synonymous with their iconic green slime, and now they've found a way to bottle the lime-hued substance of your childhood for your next BBQ cookout. Prepare for a heavy dose of nostalgia when you find out where to buy Nickelodeon Slime Sauce ketchup, because it's going to be your go-to condiment all summer.
Nickelodeon has been hard at work bringing back our inner kids this year, with a Nickelodeon eyeshadow pallet (shaped just like an orange cassette tape, of course), and the return of hit trivia series, Double Dare, to the channel. Now, the popular network's latest project is a spin on their infamous green slime, and it's definitely my favorite throwback out of the bunch at just $2.28.
According to Insider, bright green bottles of Nickelodeon Slime Sauce ketchup have been spotted at Walmart stores, and I have so many questions. While the cap is bright orange, the green "slime" comes in a ketchup-shaped clear squeeze bottle so you're hit with both of Nickelodeon's trademark colors at once. For under $3, you can "add some fun to your plate" with a slime-inspired take on ketchup, according to Walmart's website.

Moving on, we actually move on with.....

The 60-second Dance scoop with our senior dance correspondent Kristyn Burtt. Let's dance!!!!!

Bachelor or Bust?

Amanda Stanton of "The Bachelor" is happy with her breast implants. Seriously.

The 28-year-old explained her decision to have a breast augmentation in a blog post Thursday after undergoing the procedure in February.
Stanton said she got implants after breastfeeding her children changed the size of her bust. The star is parent to daughters Kinsley and Charlie with ex-husband Nick Buonfiglio.

Whose apology is it anyway?

Aisha Tyler of "The Talk" and "Girl on Guy" is doing.....a talk show.

Tyler's talk show is scheduled to air immediately after two back-to-back episodes of "Dietland," which is based on Sarai Walker's 2015 novel.
Tyler will be joined on the first episode of her show by "Dietland" star Joy Nash, showrunner Marti Noxon and feminist writer Lindy West.
"Second episode guests include series star Julianna Margulies, women's rights attorney, author and activist Gloria Allred, along with actress and comedian Yvette Nicole Brown," a news release said about Tyler's after-show.
"Additional guests throughout the season include: Charlize TheronLaverne CoxMargaret Cho, Erin Darke, Tamara Tunie, Alyssa Mastromonaco, and more."

Covering the Spread

Game Show Network's COVER STORY series returns with an all-new episode, Winning the Lottery: Cash or Crash, on Sunday June 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
Everyone dreams of winning the lottery... but for the lucky few that have done it, the money can be a blessing and a curse! In this episode we'll meet multi million-dollar lottery winners who share their tales of success, and excess!
People like Bob Erb, who won $25 million after buying a lotto ticket on the way to his father's funeral, and Dr. Shirley Press, who won $56 million just days before September 11. Thirteen million dollar winner Rhoda Toth serves as a cautionary tale after having lost everything including her freedom, while winner Kim Haggarty turned her $27 million winnings into a way to give back to her community. We'll also hear from financial advisors, attorneys and other pundits who will discuss the many pitfalls and challenges facing these new millionaires.

Alex and the fro

Before you can see the newest version of Double Dare on Nickelodeon, one writer talks about the 1976 version of Double Dare with Alex Trebek. Here's an excerpt on the article:

What’s got endless bushy mustaches, a trio of PhDs, the same theme song as Card Sharks, more light bulbs than General Electric, AND the same exact name of a game show you already know and love????  Double Dare – the little known/loved Alex Trebek hosted CBS game show that lasted only 96 episodes from 1976-1977 that still shines on today in thanks to the fine folks at Buzzr and Amazon Prime!
Ah, the good ole ’70s – when hair was unruly AND ruled, the colors were loud and vibrant (AND AWESOME!!), and everything was so so so groovy, even Alex Trebek! Yep, there was a time before Mr. Know-It-All from Jeopardy! wasn’t so cold and precise (and such a dick). Double Dare puts a more relaxed, kinder and gentler Alex on display, and one you can watch as he grows into the show’s hosting duties, from the very first episode thru #20.

And now some new music from Michelle Creber. Watch and enjoy.

That's all for now, but remember one thing: Doesn't Alex Trebek look good in an afro?

So until next time and all the on playas.

Gimme three Steps

This week......Buzzr turns 3 years old....

HQ gets bigger bucks.....

And how Dumb Are you? All this and.....Is it okay to not shave in the pool?

Madison Brunoehler: From coast to coast..............

And Across America.....and the world.........this is..............

Now here is America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi2TheMax and this of course is  Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it. Let's get into it with......

 The Opening Toss-Up story.

Game show network Buzzr is marking its third birthday by debuting live-streaming capability.
Starting at midnight as May 31 turns into June 1, users can access the retro network through
"Buzzr will be the only game show network available via live stream, and we can't wait to allow even more of America to experience the very best in vintage game shows," said Mark Deetjen, general manager of Buzzr. "Buzzr has always reached an extremely broad demographic, but this new streaming option will allow us to reach a younger, more tech-savvy audience, looking for content on the go."
Deetjen told B&C that much of the channel's growth has come from the younger demographic. "They crave content anywhere and everywhere, and whenever it is they want it," he said. Buzzr's MVPD partners have not voiced concerns about the live stream, he said. "Everybody rises together as we get more eyeballs on the channel," said Deetjen.

After this commercial word,  HQ has big money, but here's something's.......its.......

It's Station Break time! A gaggle of commercials. Which happens.....after these messages.

Madison: Some members of our viewing audience will receive.....

Pepsi products to keep you cool during the summer. Because after all, who wants a Pepsi.....or a Wild Cherry Pepsi.....or a Diet Pepsi.....or Pepsi Blue? Do they still exist? Anyways, let's send it back to our Pepsi A.m. taster, Pierre Kelly!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi and welcome back.  Later on, we play hnagman......with street chalk.

HQ......gets bigger bucks.....And I ain't joking.

The Rock gave away a record $300,000 on HQ Trivia. But that's peanuts compared to what's coming to the popular game show app next.
To celebrate the NBA Finals -- which kick off tomorrow -- HQ Trivia will give away $100,000 for Game 1, $200,000 for Game 2, $300,000 for Game 3, a record-breaking $400,000 for Game 4, and you guessed it, $500,000 for Game 5, $600,000 for Game 6, and $700,000 for Game 7.
Assuming the series stretches to seven games, that is.
"The games will also have a themed component, with questions about the teams' home cities, general sports trivia and of course, questions about the great game of basketball itself," an HQ Trivia rep tells CNET.
Though HQ Trivia hosts two games each day, you'll only have a stab at the big new prizes during the evening slot.
Tune in at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET each NBA Finals day if you want a chance to win one.

Also in honor of the new Ocean's 8 movie coming out, Yesterday as of this writing, they asked only 8 questions for......get this........$88,888. That's a lot of Crazy Eights.

Time to Picture This. Stare at New Zealand's sexiest quiz show host alive, Kim Crossman.

Tell Kim you read it on Game Show Live!

Nearly a month after Family Feud was pulled off air, Gold Logie nominee Grant Denyer has bounced back with a shiny new gig with Network Ten.
Denyer will host Game of Games, a family entertainment series based on the US show of the same name. The US version of the show is currently hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and includes a combination of quiz and activity games.
Commenting on his new gig, Denyer said: "Ellen is an idol of mine, so to land this opportunity makes me so excited I'm dizzy!
"It's wildly fun and something completely brand new and different for Australia. I can't wait to step on set and run amuck with this."

On Your marks....let's start.....the Fight?

ABC announced today that the network has picked up the culinary competition series "Family Food Fight," based on Australia's hit format. Hosted by restaurateur, food maven and NY Times best-selling cookbook author Ayesha Curry, the eight-episode competition series will feature eight families from across the country sharing a common kitchen and a common goal: to claim the title of America's No. 1 Food Family.
Family teams will pull out their best culinary moves in the kitchen, serving up authentic family dishes and drama. Tapping into each family's uniquely diverse cultural heritage, along with their countless culinary influences, "Family Food Fight" will take homestyle cooking to a new level as family recipes rich in tradition and shared over generations are put on display. Rather than five-star restaurant cuisine, the show will focus on relatable, yet aspirational, home-cooked meals, inspiring budding home cooks across the nation to don their aprons and get into the kitchen together. With a mix of fast-paced cooking fun, heaping helpings of good humor and healthy rivalries, everyone will cook their hearts out as they strive to impress a panel of culinary experts including host and judge, Curry. Despite everyone's delectable dishes, only one family will claim the coveted title of America's No. 1 Food Family and take home the $100,000 prize.
An airdate and additional judges to be announced at a later date. For information on how you can appear on the show, visit
Produced by Endemol Shine North America, "Family Food Fight" was created by Endemol Shine Australia with Nine in Australia and was recently renewed for a second season. Curry, Robert Flutie and Shab Azma are serving as executive producers through Yardie Girl Productions; and DJ Nurre, Georgie Hurford-Jones and Faye Stapleton are serving as executive producers for Endemol Shine North America.

Syfy has cancelled Face Off, which will air one final season starting June 5. It's called Face Off: Battle Royale, and it's another all-star season, just like season 11.

The show's production is not going away quietly. Host McKenzie Westmore posted this to Instagram:

"It is with a great deal of sadness and disappointment that we report #Syfy has decided #season13 will be the final season of #FaceOff. This show means the world to us at Mission Control, and we appreciate the loyal and passionate support of our viewers more than we can possibly say. Thank you to all of the artists for bravely sharing their talent with the world, the amazing models, McKenzie, Glenn, Ve, Neville, Patrick, Lois, Michael Westmore, Derek, Mary, Peter and everyone else associated with the show. It's been an incredible run. #FaceOff returns June 5th for its final season."

The show's production company, Mission Control Media, has been retweeting #SaveFaceOff posts, and Westmore encourages people to sign a petition to save the series.

Allez Cuisine, eh?

Canada is getting its own version of the popular cooking competition series "Iron Chef."
Corus Entertainment says "Iron Chef Canada" will premiere in fall 2019 on Food Network Canada with contestants from across the country.
Like the original series, the show will see the chefs preparing five dishes in one hour using a featured "secret ingredient." "Iron Chef Canada" is part of Corus's newly announced 2018-2019 lineup.

You don't like this next story when you're angry......

Big Fish Entertainment is partnering with Rovio Entertainment to bring hit mobile game Angry Birds to TV as a live-action game show.
In Angry Birds Challenge (WT), participants will team up to complete super-sized obstacle courses as quickly as possible to save the most eggs and win.
Combating a variety of surprise hurdles – including the original game's green "bad piggies" – the obstacles are designed to test participants' teamwork as they collect "bird ammo," eliminate guard towers and race to reach "the castle tower" to save as many eggs as possible.
Big Fish president Dan Cesareo and chief creative officer Lucilla D'Agostino serve as executive producers, as well as Jeff Bennett (The Wall) and Joe Lawson, head of content licensing for Rovio.

The people in part have decided to name this next segment.....

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the GSN facebook page everything and anything.

Sharon Brett Minter will begin with:

"What happened to The Beast in the afternoon?? Why don't you change the name of this network to the "Family Feud Network"? That's all you show - does Steve Harvey own this network?? Honestly, I don't mind it some, but it's ridiculous how often it's on. BRING BACK THE BEAST!!!!!! In my afternoon time-slot. I set my day up around it. As it is - I'm finding other networks to watch."

Well then, good luck finding something good. On to Thom Uttendorfer.

"Seven hours of family feud every weekday? Plus all weekend?? Really?? You don’t have other game shows you can air??"

Sadly.....yes. GSN is GSN. Let them wreck havoc on the schedule whatever they want. Here is Lori Roberson.

"I’m with everyone else that is posting!! Please quit with so many Family Feud episodes!!! I turn the channel as soon as it comes on. Taking The Chase off was the worst move you could make. I hardly ever watch your channel now because just about all you have is Family Feud."

Luckily the best thing GSN did was pull in higher ratings in an attempt to turn it into a top 10 network. On to Jeannie Cox.

"I like to watch Chain Reaction before I go to bed at night. HOWEVER , why do they not pay out more money for the winning team. I mean $5.000 to be divided between three people. How cheap. These contestants probably buy new clothes to be on TV . Get there hair done etc and winners walk away with very little money..... The show is good but don't be so cheap."

According to our Square One calculator, 3 divdies $1666.66. Which covers rent somewhere in an apartment in Midtown Grimsborough. Now we move on to an all-caps alert!

This time from Karen Casalaspro.

So disgusted indeed. jack Kraft is up.

"We are not happy with the recent program changes. While your website still says that the Chase is on in the afternoons, it is not. Instead, you have more of Family Feud. Which we find, for the most part, bigoted and racially unfair.
Plus, a lot of the new shows you are coming up with are an insult to our intelligence."

But classic Feud didn't hurt anybody. I mean that. We move on to Patti Noyes.

"My MIL has ALS our guilty pleasure is watching The Chase. Everyone knows not to call or schedule appointments during that hour. I walked into the house today and the first thing she said, "They took off The Chase!"
Family Feud is not good and we definitely wouldn't watch 6 hours of it. We dvr Cash Cab and Chain Reaction and will watch that instead. Please consider bringing it back or filling that slot with a game show. Match Game, Jokers Wild, Wheel Of Fortune, Hollywood Squares, Card Sharks, Name That Tune, Pyramid, Tic Tack Dough, or Password Plus.
You use to have these shows on.
I hope this gets to someone.
Thank you."

Let's hope GSN gets more classics. And finally, Dewey Mee.

"GSN: You have removed your best show "THE CHASE", which required real knowledge and brain power, for more endless, mind-numbing hours of "FAMILY FEUD", which requires no brains. Shame on you. Goodbye!"

Off to Buzzr Dewey goes.

Time for a Gamestop Game Break. Riddle me this: I have hands that i can move but cannot clap. What am I?

Figure that one out after a Google Play music interlude and Amy jo Johnson with a throwback jam.

So I asked you:  I have hands that i can move but cannot clap. What am I?

The answer: A clock.

Now it's time to find out......

How Dumb Are You?

It's where we take the worst and stupidest miscastings in all of recent game show history. Today, Pointless tackles Geography.

Weren't they in Geography class? That's how stupid these contestants were.

That's it for this week. Today's consolation prize is a book of negative Yelp reviews. It's like the Youtube comment section....but way more funnier.

Don't forget to email me at, Pierre Jason Kelly on FB and @Johnny_Arcade on twitter. Also I'm on Snapchat as MisterGSN and Instagram as Mister_WCW. We will return next Wednesday, and until we return, Play on playas.
