Let;s make this a memorable one as we.......get wired!

Big Brother alum Christmas Abbott has struck a plea deal to resolve last year's incident in which she repeatedly rammed her car into the vehicle of her baby daddy's new girlfriend.
Christmas has plead guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor criminal mischief charge and been sentenced to 12 months probation and 25 hours of community service for the violent altercation involving the new girlfriend of her former boyfriend Benjamin Bunn, TMZ reported.

Alexa, who's our next contestant?

With the seemingly unstoppable James Holzhauer stopped — at least for two weeks — for the show’s annual Teacher Tournament — “Jeopardy!” added an Amazon Alexa tie-in for the occasion.
At the start of the tournament, Monday, May 6, 2019, host Alex Trebek appeared on camera before the episode began standing next to an Amazon Alexa perched on a small table next to him.
Trebek also made note of Alexa’s name — and its similarity to his own.
The show’s open, which was updated with a school theme, also included a “presented by Alexa” logo.
And here is the clip to prove it.

This past Monday saw 14 bachelorettes reunite for a once in a lifetime special no one will ever forget, but for these 2 bachelorettes, was there a reason they were absent? Let's Investigate.

https://youtu.be/etRxv1Lvf1E

The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison has explained why Jen Schefft and Meredith Phillips didn't participate in The Bachelorette's huge reunion special.

"Unfortunately Jen and Meredith couldn't be there because we had to settle on a date. At the end of the day, we had to shoot this thing," Harrison explained to Entertainment Tonight, blaming the ladies' absence on scheduling conflicts.

"So, we just picked a day where we could get as many as we possibly could, but unfortunately schedules, vacations, was one of them, just couldn't be changed. And we just had to pull the trigger and do this thing."

Both ABC and Warner Bros. declined comment at the time Meredith's allegation surfaced, according to ET

But Harrison insisted Jen and Meredith won't be forgotten when the big reunion special airs on ABC.

"Jen and Meredith are represented, they're celebrated in this thing, we love them very much and they're a part of our family and this sisterhood, but they just couldn't join us," Harrison said.

Going Live!

Twitch on Saturday Mornings make it alive thanks to The Adventures of Em, a spacey take on the classic 80's kids show The Great Space Coaster. With new ones on the way, they decided to have a more puppet version of this classic show.......

Hoping to avoid the royalties, they decided to do something drastic....it's called......You do What?

Watch Game Show - You Do What? | #SuperFuniverse from AdventuresOfEm on www.twitch.tv

Just like WML? the panel must ask Yes or No questions, but with no contestants and only allows you to get occupations. Wrong guesses costs you a strike and like in the home run derby from years ago, 10 of these.......Game Over. That seems like a lot of fun, but this past Wednesday, there was a bonus episode.

Down the orange Tubi

The Apprentice, hosted initially by Donald Trump and then Arnold Schwarzenegger, is now available for free on Tubi’s ad-supported streaming platform. In a content partnership deal with MGM Television, Tubi is now the exclusive home for all 15 seasons of the franchise.
While reality hasn’t always proven to be an especially robust genre in windows beyond its initial live airing, Tubi has been betting otherwise, recently pacting with Warner Bros. for some of The Bachelor‘s high-profile real estate. As an ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) platform, Tubi could be headed for a successful exit similar to that of Pluto TV, which was acquired by Viacom for $340 million. NBCUniversal is also favoring AVOD in its widely tracked 2020 streaming launch.

While the trend was having Meghan Markle give birth to a baby across......the pond. This happened in our homeland of ours.

The Bachelor alum Whitney Bischoff is now a mother to a baby boy, as she has given birth to her first child with husband Ricky Angel.

The couple named their son Hayes Singleton Angel, who was born on Saturday, May 4.

Now here is America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi2TheMax and this of course is  Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it. Let's get into it with......

 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

ABC's found the pitch-perfect person to host its Press Your Luck reboot: Elizabeth Banks.
The actor, producer, and director has signed on to front the Alphabet's new version of the 1980s cult-classic game show, which is slated to begin production shortly ahead of its June 12 return.
Banks is the latest addition to ABC's collection of celebrity quiz hosts, joining Steve Harvey, Alec Baldwin, Anthony Anderson, Joel McHale, and Michael Strahan as emcees of the network's summer games. She's stepping into the shoes of the late Peter Tomarken, who hosted PYL during its original 758-episode run on CBS's daytime lineup from 1983 until 1986.
As with the original, ABC's Fremantle-produced revamp will feature three players duking it out in a trivia challenge, competing for spins on the show's "Big Board" and a shot at cash and prizes. The twist: Any spin of the board could prompt the appearance of the Whammy, an animated devil who delights in crushing players' dreams by grabbing all their winnings to date.
In addition to hosting, Banks will also serve as an exec producer of the new PYL.
She's also plenty busy with other gigs: She's currently finishing postproduction on the Charlie's Angels reboot that she directed, is a producer on Hulu's just-renewed Shrill, and has a comedy pilot (Patty's Auto) in contention for next season at Fox.

After this commercial word,  Alex's cancer treatment revealed. That's.......when Game Show Live returns.

And moving on.....

Alex Trebek is getting heartbreakingly candid about his battle with pancreatic cancer.
The 78-year-old Jeopardy! host revealed he was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in March, and on Wednesday, he gave his first interview since sharing his diagnosis. Trebek appeared on Good Morning America, and gave an honest update about his health.
"My oncologist tells me I'm doing well, even though I don't always feel it," he tells GMA's Robin Roberts, who herself is a cancer survivor. "But I've had kidney stones, I've had ruptured disks, so I'm used to dealing with pain. But what I'm not used to dealing with is the surges that come on suddenly of deep, deep sadness, and it brings tears to my eyes."
"I discovered in this whole episode, ladies and gentlemen, that I'm a bit of a wuss, but I'm fighting through it. My platelets, my blood counts are steady, my weight is steady. The cancer indicators, those are coming down. So, I've got another chemo next week and then we'll do a review of where things stand."
Trebek said it's important to be honest about the emotional effects of cancer.
"Chemo affects people in different ways, and people have to understand that," he notes. "And there's nothing wrong with saying, 'Hey, I'm really depressed today and I have no idea why.' Why am I crying today?"
The legendary game show host also explained how he's been able to remain so positive throughout his treatment.
"You have to deal with it. What am I gonna do?" he says matter of factly. "It's something I am afflicted with, we are dealing with it chemically and spiritually, and those are positive. Hopefully everything is going to turn out well and I'll be back on the air with original programming this September."
Trebek says he's taking the summer months to recuperate and "get strong again."
"The chemo takes it out of you," he shares. "I feel so weak all the time, and that's not a good place to be."
Still, Trebek stresses that he's been lifted up by the incredible outpouring of support he's received from fans, including celebrities like Ryan Seacrest, Ken Jeong and Dane Cook.
"People all over America have been sharing their good thoughts, their advice, their prayers," he says. "And I feel it's been making a difference."
"I think I've learned that I'm an extremely lucky individual, because in spite of the fact this diagnosis is not a good one, I've managed to receive so much love from so many people," he adds.
Trebek also addressed Jeopardy! winner James Holzhauer's current incredible winning streak on the show, passing the $1 million mark in winnings last week in just 14 games.
Trebek becomes noticeably animated when talking about Holzhauer's popularity. "It's exciting, it's fun," Trebek says. "He has forced me to change a view that I've had for many years -- that the [former Jeopardy! champion] Ken Jennings record would never be broken. But I look at James and say, 'Oh, my gosh, look at what he's doing.'"
"He has no weaknesses ... he's all in so often, he knows how to play the game, he has a strategy, he's a gambler," he continues. "Everywhere I go, people are talking abut him."

But that treatment didn't stop him.....from winning an Emmy.

Most Daytime Emmy nominees were probably hoping they'd win Sunday not, but Alex Trebek wasn't necessarily one of them.
The Jeopardy! host was named best game show host Sunday night, beating out the likes of John Michael Higgins (America Says), Wayne Brady (Let's Make a Deal), Pat Sajak (Wheel of Fortune) and Chris Harrison (Who Wants To Be a Millionaire).
But he said he was at first concerned about winning when he learned he'd been nominated.
"I was concerned that sympathy might play a big role," said Trebek, who in March revealed he'd been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. "I'm not a fan of sympathy votes, because I believe you should be judged on the merits of your work."
He continued: "However, I started thinking back to last year. I had just had major surgery to remove two life-threatening blood clots on my brain. I think that would have earned me a certain amount of sympathy, but I didn't win. So maybe I've been worrying about the wrong thing, and I'll do what Sally Field did when she won at a different venue many, many years ago, and [accept] this as a sign you like guys like me and value my work. I'll tell you, if that's the case, I can live with that. Thank you."
Trebek was referring to Field's iconic speech at the 1985 Oscars, when she won best actress for Places in the Heart, when she memorably declared: "I can't deny the fact that you like me. Right now, you like me!"
Backstage, Trebek said that winning was "special."
"The reception I got from the audience was extremely special, very touching. We all know what's going on in my life and I alluded to that in my remarks and I've been very blessed to discover how many people our show has influenced in their lives," he said, adding: "Jeopardy has become a special institution in Americana. And it has been a force for good, a force for knowledge, a force for the best kind of reality television if you think about it. Anybody can succeed, anybody can win a lot of money, Just ask James Holzhauer."
Of the contestant, who is on track to break Ken Jennings' winning streak, Trebek said: "He's been a lot of fun to watch, yes indeed. There are no areas in which he cannot do well. He has missed only one Final Jeopardy since he came on the program. And he's coming back in two weeks after the teacher's tournament. So you're gonna get to enjoy James and Alex for a while longer. How 'bout that folks. This has been a special year for Jeopardy and certainly a very special, and in many ways rewarding year for me, to discover how loved I am all across America."
Elsewhere, "Family Feud" won the trophy for Outstanding Game Show, the first time the show did so in 42 years.

Both game show awards were presented by living legend Wink Martindale and legendary panelist Anita Gillette.

In other awards...
- Valerie Bertinelli, host of "Family Food Showdown", pulled the Daily Double winning Outstanding Culinary Show and Outstanding Culinary Host.
- Ken Fuchs wins Outstanding Direction for a Game Show for "Family Feud".

- The technical team of "The Price Is Right" also collected an award.

Alright all you James Bond or Joanna Dark fans, listen up.

Bravo Media is expanding its slate of originals with the new series, "Spy Games," following ten daring individuals who will battle it out in the ultimate game of espionage, it was announced today by Rachel Smith, Senior Vice President, Development, Bravo Media. The series will air later this year.
Hosted by model and martial artist Mia Kang, "Spy Games" is a sophisticated strategy-based series in a genre Bravo viewers know and love; competition reality. Inspired by a once secret World War II government program called "Station S," the show will follow ten competitors living together on a compound as they are challenged to figure out the secrets their fellow players are keeping. Training and judging them in the art of espionage are "The Assessors" - Douglas Laux, Evy Poumpouras and Erroll Southers - three former intelligence professionals from the CIA, Secret Service and FBI, respectively, who will create missions and tests designed to push contestants to their breaking points as well as determine who stays and who goes home. These bold contestants may think they have what it takes to live out their spy fantasies, but as they're eliminated one-by-one, they quickly realize this game may be more mentally and physically challenging than they bargained for. However, they all must keep their eyes on the prize since only one contestant can come out on top and walk away with a $100,000.
"Spy Games" is produced by Kinetic Content (part of Red Arrow Studios) with Chris Coelen, Karrie Wolfe, Eric Detwiler, John Saade, David Burris and Andrew Wallace serving as executive producers.

And we get to knock this answer out. This puzzle has something to do with shapes and counting from 1-3 so.......the ABC blocks would fit the solution.

Since last week was the 4th......to commemorate Star Wars day.....we get it now. Our Game Show Live! statistician Donny Pearson was hard at work coming up with this mock cover of Yoda's theme since today is the 8th......for The Last Jedi. Let's roll!

Shaquille O neal has taken on some of the biggest names in the NBA. But 10 years ago.....has he ever taken on....knitting? Shaq Vs. on ABC did.

The Washington Post has pointed out similarities to Shaq Vs. and Todd Gallagher's book Andy Roddick Beat Me with a Frying Pan saying the book and the show have "precisely the same premise" and that a TV show based on the book Gallagher was trying to sell was "the exact same show."[2] TMZ later reported that Gallagher and O'Neal shared the same agent and the agent had previously shopped a virtually identical show with Gallagher. Gallagher's name appears in the credits of season 2 as a producer.
The Arizona Republic reported that in early 2008 Steve Nash, a former teammate of O'Neal's, had mentioned to O'Neal a reality show he was pursuing that would feature Nash taking on professional athletes in their own sport.[3] O'Neal said Nash's idea was based on training with other athletes, not competing against them. Nash would not confirm the Republic's story and said, "We collaborated on parts of the show." Nash is an executive producer of the program.[4]
Mike Goldberg, play-by-play announcer for the UFC, has served as both the show's play-by-play announcer and one of the show's two co-hosts for all of its seasons. In season 1, Pat Tomasulo, sports anchor at WGN-TV, co-hosted with Goldberg while Charissa Thompson served as the sideline reporter.[5] In season 2, Kit Hoover served as both the co-host and sideline reporter.[6] Shaq's total record is 2 wins, 12 losses, and a tie.

Each episode in Season 1 included preliminary challenges, banter from news conferences, and O'Neal and his rival negotiating a handicap. However, In February 2010, ABC announced that the series will return for a second season.[13] Season 2 would premiere on August 3, and unlike Season 1 which relied on sporting matches, Season 2 would also feature comedic non-sports competitions such as a spelling bee, dance battle, or magic act. Shaq competes against Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in a NASCAR race, track and field sprinter Tyson Gay in a race, chef and television personality Rachael Ray in a cook-off, pop musician Justin Bieber in a dance-off, Charles Barkley in a golf match, Joey Chestnut in a hot dog eating contest, national spelling bee champion Kavya Shivashankar in a spell off, Las Vegas magic duo Penn & Teller by performing classic stage-magic acts, and Shane Mosley in a boxing match.

Although it got the ax, I would imagine Big Show doing the same thing.....but that's just for comedy.
