With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive twelve-episode series will uncover whether looks, race or age do matter, or if love really is blind.
After three years working for Turner, former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is parting ways with the network.
The New York Post reports that TNT was interested in Wade staying on, and made an attempt to keep him, but the 13-time All-Star decided to focus on other ventures. Reportedly, the split was amicable.
Wade began working for TNT after his retirement from the NBA in 2019, joining the network for the 2019-20 season. He was a member of the network’s new Tuesday night studio alongside former Miami teammate Shaquille O’Neal and Candace Parker. Wade joined the regular “Inside The NBA” Thursday edition on occasion and appeared in the studio for the network’s NCAA Tournament coverage.
Wade also hosts and executive produces the game show “The Cube” on TBS, which was renewed for a second season in February.
Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, have a number of other projects, ranging from a wine company to a line of baby products and an equity stake in Chinese shoe company Li-Ning. Wade also became a minority owner of the Utah Jazz last April, and bought an ownership stake in the MLS team Real Salt Lake.
Living in Los Angeles and owning teams in Salt Lake City might have made it inconvenient for Wade to do more TV in Atlanta, TNT's headquarters.
Without Wade, the Tuesday "NBA On TNT" show is looking at a shakeup alongside O’Neal, Parker and host Kevin Lefkoe.
Star Trek: The Next Generation alum LeVar Burton has addressed some of the controversy surrounding Jeopardy!, which he guest-hosted last year while the long-running game show was searching for a new permanent host.
Speaking at a Q&A panel at Rose City Comic Con in Portland, Oregon, this past weekend, Burton answered fan questions about his experience on the show and his thoughts on Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings being named the full-time co-hosts. “Jeopardy! hired the hosts that they wanted, so it’s all good,” said Burton (via WeGotThisCovered.com).
Burton was mostly complimentary about his time on the show, noting that it “fulfilled a lifelong dream.” However, he also touched on his criticisms.
“I’ll always bet on myself, and given the opportunity to do it all over again, I would,” the Roots star stated. “Well, first, I would not believe the executive producer when he told me twice that he was not interested in the job; his job was to find someone to do the job. That’s the guy who gave himself the job.”
While Burton didn’t directly say who he was talking about, the description matches Mike Richards, the former Jeopardy! executive producer who was named the new permanent host in August 2021 following months of guest hosts. Richards stepped down from the position just weeks later when insensitive comments he made on a 2013 podcast came to light.
“So if I were to do it all over again, I wouldn’t trust him,” Burton continued. “But I would insist on knowing that this was a real audition for the job because that’s what I thought I was asking for.”
Burton went on to say that it felt like he was “pulled into a publicity stunt” but added, “I went in willingly. I own my actions 100%. I just wish they had been more forthcoming at the beginning.” He also said he “loved every moment” of hosting the show itself.

Sue Barker has opened up about her exit from long-running quiz show A Question of Sport, explaining that she felt the situation was mishandled so badly she decided to retire from the BBC for good.
In an excerpt from her upcoming autobiography Calling the Shots, serialised in the Daily Mail, Barker says: "After 24 years in the hotseat, I was sacked as the host of the BBC quiz show A Question of Sport – and I'm afraid that has left me slightly damaged.
"Don't get me wrong: I had no problem with being replaced. Everyone has their day. Producers must always have the right to refresh a programme and take it in a new direction.
"It was the way it was handled. It taught me there is actually no way of leaving a role in a nice, pleasant and helpful manner, with your head held high."
She writes that it was in 2016 when the show was put up for independent production companies to bid on when she heard that she was to be replaced, but many of the companies wanted to keep her on and the BBC didn't.
Two years later, she claims BBC management did want to keep her on but replace Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell as team captains, but she said that she would leave if they did. After another year of no decisions, the trio were pulled into separate meetings.
"With me, there was a bit of 'We love the show and you've been an amazing host, but...'" she says. "I'd been waiting for that 'but'. We were being sacked. I accepted their decision, though I couldn't help feeling wretchedly sad.

Here's a PSA. Wonderama is this weekend on the stations where you actually are living in and having a studio costs all that money like Studio 6a at Rockefeller Center or the Seaport Studios where ESPN is, so for the 2nd time in a row, it's at Times Square. Let's go back to last year and revisit a science experiment from Jackie Means....and see what she means about it.
Then you know it's time for Livewire! Until next time, play on playas.
