That's....not....punny.

It’s been a week since Ken Jennings took over the temporary hosting duties from Mayim Bailik on “Jeopardy!” but he’s already pretty comfortable. So much so, that Jennings is now cracking jokes on stage.

“Jeopardy!” champion Andrew He became the victim of such a joke this week. It began when the player chose the “National Geographic Ocean: A Global Odyssey” category for $800

  • The Double Jeopardy clue read, “A very brave cleaner shrimp gets a meal of parasites and dead skin from the mouth of one of these scary predators.”
  • Contestant Jeff Meyers buzzed in first and said, “What is an eel?” Jennings asked him to be more specific.
  • Meyers responded, “Electric eel?” The answer was incorrect.

When no one else buzzed in, Jennings responded with a punny joke: “As Dean Martin might’ve said, ‘That’s Amore,’” referring to the moray eel.

The show’s Twitter account posted a GIF of the moment with the caption, “Dad joke alert!” As you can expect, the tweet went viral.

But that’s not all! Jeopardy Champion Matt Amodio chimed in, adding to the humor: “Everybody loves somebody who is willing to apologize.”

It looks like Jennings landed the joke after all.

Jennings will be the second host of the quiz show’s 38th season for the rest of the year. His return began on Nov. 8 — the one-year anniversary of Alex Trebek’s death.

A Swingin' Christmas Game Night

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actress Jane Lynch (Glee, Hollywood Game Night, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) is getting into the holiday spirit. Joined by her friends Kate Flannery (best known for her portrayal of "Meredith the Drunk" on NBC's The Office) and Tim Davis (vocal producer for Glee), this festive concert includes fresh takes on classic Christmas carols and new nostalgia-inspired tunes.

The bandleader, Tony Guerrero, fuses clever jazz arrangements with tight vocal harmonies performed by the jazz group, The Tony Guerrero Quintet. The show's eponymous album A Swingin' Little Christmas hit Billboard's Top 10 Adult Contemporary chart.

With the holidays right around the corner and so does the Game Show Live! honors in which next week, I'll give you the nominees for it, we have a expert by the name of Sarah who is doing a declutter. Just watch.

“Whoa!” is a totally valid response to the following news.

Mayim Bialik will reunite with Blossom costars Joey Lawrence, Jenna von Oÿ and Michael Stoyanov in the Season 2 premiere of Fox’s Call Me Kat (airing on a special night, Sunday, Jan. 9 following an NFL doubleheader; subsequent episodes will air Thursdays at 9/8c, beginning Jan. 13).

The Blossom reunion is teased in the above promo, which also reveals the very meta premise at play: Lawrence, von Oÿ and Stoyanov all will appear as themselves. Upon their arrival at Kat’s Cat Café, Kat introduces Oscar to “the stars of my favorite TV show when I was growing up.” (In other words, Call Me Kat exists in a world where both Kat and Mayim Bialik exist. Trippy, right?)

UNIVERSAL CITY, Cal - Nov. 4, 2021 - Grammy and Emmy Award-winning global superstar Kelly Clarkson's love for the holiday season is no secret. She celebrates it all year long with "Ambush Christmas" segments on her award-winning daytime talk show as studio viewers and guests are treated to off-season snow, music and epic giveaways.

This year Clarkson is doubling down on the holiday spirit. Timed to the release of her new holiday album, the "Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Around"holiday spectacular will air Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

The special will be filled with Clarkson's new original songs as well as a curated list of iconic classics, dancing, superstar performances featuring My Band Y'All with a streamlined modern orchestra and remarkable duets. The stage at Universal Studios Hollywood will be designed to evoke timeless Christmas themes inspired by the power of song that change the viewers' point of view - from fantastical worlds of being underneath the tree to a forest lit by the Northern Lights.

Brett Eldredge, Ariana Grande, Jay Leno, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Odom Jr., Amy Poehler and the one-and-only Santa Claus will join Clarkson and some special everyday heroes with life-changing surprises.

Kelly Clarkson remarked: "People celebrate the holidays in different ways and that is the inspiration behind the original songs and the curated classics that are featured in this special. No matter what your heart is feeling this holiday season, I hope that this hour brings you joy and happiness exactly where you are."

Alex Duda and Kelly Clarkson are executive producers. Emmy winner Joe Terry directs.

The original music featured in the special is from "When Christmas Comes Around...," Clarkson's ninth studio album, available now via Atlantic Records. The 15-track collection sees Clarkson reunite with long-time collaborators Jason Halbert, Jesse Shatkin and more for a mix of new original songs and Christmas classics. From the inspiring duet "Santa, Can't You Hear Me," featuring Ariana Grande, to the hauntingly beautiful ballad "Merry Christmas (to the One I Used to Know), "When Christmas Comes Around... " explores a wide range of holiday emotions and experiences anchored by Clarkson's vocal prowess. The album also features cheerful standout "Glow," featuring Chris Stapleton, and the fabulously bold lead single "Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)."

"Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Around" is made possible by brand partner Wayfair, the one-stop shop for everything home. As part of their collaboration with the episode, Wayfair will be generously donating a reward to a deserving organization that helps support communities in need.

The special was also made possible by H.E.B, who were proud to donate to a local Texas story featured on the special.

One thing I miss most about Living in Grimsborough was going out to Alan Trammell Stadium and seeing the Rocket League matches. They were so much fun to watch. Now that I'm living in Pacfic Bay, they got a very good announcer but the press boxes and the front rows are tarped off thanks to sponsors. Thankfully, you get to hear Jessica Davis commentate for its triumphant return right before Thanksgiving. Let's watch and learn.

It was cool and I still miss it. But there was even a post-game concert from Christa Nannos. So here she is with a song. Do you kids remember this?

Closing Theme

#todayIlearned that Ken Jennings is NOT a comedian.  He's a straight man. And we know that.  I wonder if Brad Rutter gets pranked?

Be safe and be well as you go about for the thanksgiving season next week and Black Friday will come in which every shopper out at 2:15 am in the cold weather camping out in front of a department store will wake themselves up to this sound........................
