An average of 10 million tourists and fans visit a 15-block stretch of Hollywood Boulevard every year to visit the Walk of Fame and The Hollywood Museum - Today, it is anything but business as usual for the popular sites, who have turned toward social media and the internet to bring Hollywood to the fans at this time in the hopes rejuvenating tourism.During the recent health crisis, people haven't been able to get out to see the Hollywood Museum or other historic or popular destinations, so they are bringing the museum to the people through "The Hollywood Museum Squares," with the help of forty plus celebrities, including Loni Anderson, Rich Little, Gilbert Gottfried, Lindsay Wagner, Dee Wallace, Jeremy Miller, Robert Hays, Ruta Lee, Loretta Swit, Jerry Mathers, etc (full list below) and along with hosts Tom Bergeron, John Davidson, Marc Summers, Pat Finn, Bruce Vilanch and special intros by Peter Marshall.Zooey Deschanel is dating one of HGTV’s famous Property Brothers. But, ah, which one is it? Jimmy Kimmel was determined to get to the bottom of the (not-real) mystery last night.
“Which Property Brother are you with?” Kimmel asked his first guest on Wednesday, who was there (virtually) to plug her new ABC show, “Celebrity Dating Game.”
“I mean, does it matter?” she responded. We found that to be a fair counterpoint, but it didn’t satisfy the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host.
“Well, I mean, yeah. Technically, they’re different people, right?” he asked. “Is Jonathan or Drew your person?”
“Is there an Ian?” she said.
There is not. (Though there is a JD.)
“OK, you know what? Look, we were introduced really quickly. You know? They were both there at the same time,” she explained. “And it was fast and I wasn’t really paying attention, you know? But now it’s kind of like too late to ask.”
Kimmel helped Deschanel get down to the bottom of it with a pretty impressive investigative chart. OK, so maybe it wasn’t all that impressive when you consider that Kevin Jonas somehow snuck his way onto the poster board.
“I know he owns jeans and he has brown hair and he likes food,” she offered. That wasn’t particularly helpful, and neither was Siri.
Fortunately, dude was right there. Turns out, it was Jonathan. Case closed.
Jeopardy attracts the best and the brightest, but one contestant seems to be both a braniac and a bit of a clairvoyant. After she secured her third win on the game show, competitor Katie Sekelsky, a graphic designer from Kent, Ohio, revealed she envisioned the exact dollar amount she would win before her first-ever Jeopardy taping, Yahoo Entertainment reports.
Sekelsky shared the uncanny prediction on Twitter last night, posting a photo of a sketch she drew before competing on her first show that featured the very same numbers on her podium as the dollar amount she won during her third day. “The night before my first @Jeopardy taping, I was alone in the hotel, trying to calm down and ‘visualizing’ a win. I sketched myself at a podium, with a winning-type dollar amount,” she wrote. “And that winning-type dollar amount was $19,201. This is real.”
And if you think her prediction is too spot-on to be true, Sekelsky is one step ahead of you. The competitor came ready with receipts, sharing the names of friends she sent the sketch to before she taped the show.
“This was not on my mind at all while wagering,” she wrote. “I was just betting what I needed to in case Erin bet everything and got it right. And the drawing was sent to @muffymarracco @lynnqyu and @AriannaHaut before taping. THERE ARE RECEIPTS.”
Sekelsky’s drawing quickly blew up on Twitter, where fans praised her “amazing” prediction. “Wow!!! This is kind of spooky…..I wonder what else you can manifest?” one wrote. Another suggested, “Twlight Zone moment?” While one fan dubbed Sekelsky a “visionary.”
Despite Sekelsky’s luck earlier this week, her winning streak came to an end on last night’s show. The graphic designer was stumped by the Final Jeopardy clue about movie characters, which challenged competitors to come up with the answer to “A character who was going to be called Lunar Larry became him, inspired by the name of a real person.”
Sekelsky incorrectly answered “Osmosis Jones,” but the correct response was “Buzz Lightyear,” bringing an end to her three-day victory.
