The question is: Who will be next to step into the late Alex Trebek’s shoes as guest host of Jeopardy!? And now we have our answer.
Anderson Cooper leads the latest round of guest hosts for the venerable quiz show, which was unveiled by Jeopardy! executive producer Mike Richards on Tuesday. Along with Cooper, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Savannah Guthrie and Dr. Sanjay Gupta will take a turn at hosting, and they’ll get a nice bonus, too: A donation will be made to the host’s charity of choice, in an amount equal to the cumulative winnings of the contestants that compete while they’re hosting.
“We look forward to each guest host bringing their unique abilities to the show and to our contestants winning a lot of money that we can match for charity,” Richards said in a statement.
Cooper is the anchor of the CNN primetime series Anderson Cooper 360° and has competed in previous Jeopardy! Power Players Tournaments. Oz hosts the daytime talk show The Dr. Oz Show and has won 10 Daytime Emmys. Guthrie co-hosts NBC’s Today show and serves as the chief legal correspondent for NBC News. Gupta is CNN’s chief medical correspondent.
They join an expanding roster of guest hosts called in to replace the show’s beloved host Trebek, who died of pancreatic cancer in November.
Jeopardy! champ Ken Jennings was the first to take over hosting duties, debuting on the Jan. 11 broadcast. He’ll be followed by Richards, news anchor Katie Couric, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 60 Minutes‘ Bill Whitaker and actress Mayim Bialik. Additional guest hosts will be announced later this season.

Hey kids, let's all go to Alaska!
kinda.
The Great Food Truck Race heads north to Alaska for the wildest culinary journey in series history this March, where fighting blistering cold, raging winds and short daylight hours are part of every week's action. Hosted by Tyler Florence and shot on-location in Alaska, the six-episode season begins with seven teams of aspiring food truck owners greeted with their own truck - but first, they must break the keys out of 200-pound blocks of ice.
These teams are not just battling each other, they are battling the elements of this beautiful but treacherous region to avoid elimination and reach the end of the road's $50,000 grand prize. Each week, the caravan of competitors hits a different location for high-stakes challenges that test their cooking chops, business skills and ability to face harsh weather conditions from blizzards to icy mountain roads.
The Great Food Truck Race: Alaska premieres on Sunday. March 7th at 10pm ET/PT on Food Network and streams the same day on discovery+.
"Alaska is the most magnificent and most challenging location yet for The Great Food Truck Race," said Courtney White, President, Food Network. "Cooking talent and selling strategies are not enough to make it, this time teams also have to battle the raw Alaskan elements in each and every challenge."
This season's competitors are: BFD - Saint James, New York (Kate Wurtzel, Harry Poole, April Nothdurft); Meatball Mamas - Danville, California (Aly Romero, Flora Londre, Jocelyn Denson); Metro Chili - Staten Island, New York (Anthony Cucurullo, John Sullivan, David Consiglio); Querencia Mia - Albuquerque, New Mexico (Marie Yniguez, Queneesha Meyers, Michael Neu); Some Like It Tot - Tecumseh, Oklahoma (Nela Edwards, Drew Cowen, Kali Honey Cowen); Tasty Balls - Houston, Texas (Misti Buard, D'Ambria Jacobs, Nadia Ahmed) and The Oink Mobile - Georgetown, Texas (Heather Clauser, Tyler Clauser, Emily Clauser)..

How do you spell......Renew?
UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a second season of word-themed gameshow Lingo.
One of Europe’s longest-running gameshows, Lingo comes from All3Media-owned IDTV and Talpa TV. It has aired for three decades in France and was rebooted in the Netherlands two years ago, where it had previously run for 25 years after being launched in North America by Ralph Andrews Productions.
The format debuted in the UK last month as a 30×60’ series and a second 60×60’ season has now been commissioned.
Lingo, which is produced in the UK by All3Media’s Objective Media Group Entertainment, sees contestant pairs compete in a series of rounds for a chance to win a cash prize. The teams are pitted against each other in a quick-thinking game of words, with the stakes becoming higher and the prize money escalating in each round.
The executive producers are Objective Media Group Entertainment heads Ed de Burgh and Ben Shephard, Andrew Cartmell and Objective Media Group North’s joint creative director Pam Cavannagh. All3Media International distributes the series.

Here's a follow along on Game of Talents.
“The Masked Singer” will premiere its fifth season this March on Fox with a new lead-out series, the broadcast network said Monday. The hit whosungit series will debut Season 5 on Wednesday, March 10 at 8/7c and be immediately followed by the series premiere of the new Wayne Brady-hosted variety show “Game of Talents” at 9/8c.
In the fall, “The Masked Singer” acted as the lead-in for “I Can See Your Voice,” which was renewed for Season 2 at Fox in January. The broadcast network has decided to slot “Game of Talents” in its place for this spring cycle.
Here’s the official description for “The Masked Singer’s” new pairing, “Game of Talents”: “Taking the awe, wonder and spectacle of a large-scale variety show and infusing it with a clue-centered, high-intensity investigative game, GAME OF TALENTS is a new hybrid series like you’ve never seen. Produced by Fremantle and based on its hit international format, the series pits two teams of contestants against each other as they attempt to figure out the surprising, mesmerizing – and sometimes bizarre – hidden talents of the mystery performers. With more than $200,000 on the line, can the contestants spot the fire dancer from the spider wrangler or the gospel singer from the contortionist? Can you?? This is GAME OF TALENTS!”
The series is produced by Fremantle. Executive producers include Jeff Apploff and Brady. “The Masked Singer” is executive produced by James Breen, who serves as showrunner, Craig Plestis, Rosie Seitchik and Cannon. James Breen serves as showrunner. The series is based on the South Korean format created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp and is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment.

The ultimate cartoon trivia showdown is coming to Nickelodeon with the premiere of Tooned In, an epic gameshow that puts contestants to the test to prove their animation knowledge. Hosted by an animated A.I. supercomputer, three kids compete in rounds of trivia for a chance to be declared the episode's big winner. Tooned In airs Mondays through Thursdays on Nickelodeon beginning Monday, Feb. 8, at 5 p.m. (ET/PT), with the season finale airing Thursday, March 4.
In Tooned In, an animated A.I. robot, Nicky (voiced by Rama Vallury, AOK), hosts a gameshow where kid contestants compete in a battle of Nickelodeon cartoon knowledge for the chance to be named the night's big winner and take home exciting prizes. Each episode features three kids who must solve animation questions across slime-filled rounds of trivia until only one contestant is left in the competition. The final kid will then be declared the episode's big winner and move on to a special prize round to compete against Nicky and climb the robot's motherboard for a chance to win the $1,000 grand prize.
During the week of March 1, Tooned In will get interactive with the Screens Up app and on NickPlay.com, where kids at home can play along in real time to answer the same questions being asked during the show. The top four users with the highest scores will be displayed on-air at the end of each episode and the top 100 users will be displayed within the game.
Tooned In is co-executive produced by Rich Brown (Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Beat the Clock) and Michael Dugan (Trivial Takedown, The Hollywood Puppet Show). Flavia Casas (Group Chat) serves as senior producer with Phil Moore (Ryan's Mystery Playdate) serving as producer. The series is directed by Genji Keen (The Dungeon Run, Good Mythical Morning). Awashed on the shore of the banks of the Be More Specific Ocean lied an array of treasure chests the pirates forgot. Game Show Live! is bringing you a special exclusive at shows that have never seen the light of day. prepare yourself for a month of........................
Ahoy, we found a discovery.
The folks that gave us Top Card and 10 Seconds wanted something otuside of it. Case in point: Pressure Point. Hosted by Clint Holmes, forever known to him as host of Honda All-Star Campus Challenge, Players took a cue from the Blockbusters Gold Run board and answered questions based on initals in certain categories. One of them was in which Clint will sing and line and then finish it. As soon as time expired, a player had to answer the Pressure Point question to end it. Fail and it'll be a speed round to the end. That suffered from Make The Grade syndrome. Your desk is almost there to paydirt, but a Fire Drill shows up and somebody is taking you down for your desk. That's what you call payback. Pressure Point did the same thing. Winner goes to the bonus round where you can study where the dollar signs are and if you can survive the gauntlet, $5000 is yours. Not bad, But I think TNN shouldve gotten it because Reid/Land Productions was associated with Bill Anderson and Dan Miller for the Network. USA would've been a good candidate if it was 1995 but this show was why it goes fast.
That's it for this week, today's consolation prize is Krazy Glue toupees. Stick it on, and in no time, it'll make Hair Club For Men look like legos.
Don't forget to email me at kellypierre8@gmail.com, coppockonsports@yahoo.com, Pierre Jason Kelly on FB and @Johnny_Arcade on twitter. Also I'm on Snapchat as MisterGSN and Instagram as MrJackbox. We will return next Wednesday, and until we return, Play on playas.
Jordan: Game Show Live! is a presentation of The Vonbuskirk Company, Jackbox Media Services and Pluto TV distribution which may or may not be responible for the damage already done.
