The British Academy Television Awards is to take place on July 31 with The IT Crowd’s Richard Ayoade set as host.
The BAFTA TV Awards were set to take place on May 17 but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They will be followed by the British Academy Television Craft Awards on July 17.
BAFTA TV will air as-live on BBC One, while the Craft Awards will be streamed via social media. In accordance with current restrictions, both events will take place as closed studio, socially-distanced shows, with nominees invited to accept their awards virtually.
Nominations for both awards will be announced on June 4.

Richard Osman has claimed Pointless’ ratings increase when health secretary Matt Hancock is delivering the daily government briefings on the other channel.
The quiz show often goes head to head with news coverage of the press conferences, after being bumped from its usual teatime slot on BBC One to BBC Two during the pandemic.
And Richard has said viewing figures for Pointless fluctuate depending on which minister is speaking – and it’s awkward news for Hancock.
Speaking to Radio Times, Richard said: “Pointless is definitely getting a new audience, although we’re up against Boris Johnson or Matt Hancock sometimes.
“If it’s Matt Hancock, our ratings shoot up, but when it’s Rishi Sunak, we’re in trouble.”
Richard added that the chancellor was “very much the Bradley Walsh of the cabinet”, in reference to how Pointless often loses out to Bradley’s ITV quiz show The Chase in the teatime ratings battle.
Richard’s co-host Alexander Armstrong believes the ongoing health crisis has seen a rise in the popularity of quiz shows because they “distract” people from real life.
He said: “We’re spending an awful lot of time inside our heads. For some people, that’s a nice place to be, and for some, it’s a very difficult place to be.
“A quiz show distracts you. You can’t be worrying as much if you’re trying to think of an African country.“
Offering his advice to families and groups of friends putting together their own virtual quizzes during lockdown, Richard – who created the Pointless format – said: “Don’t ask too many questions with specific answers.
″‘Which South American country won the first World Cup?’ – you can at least chat and guess.”

“America’s Got Talent” returns next Tuesday with a judges lineup that includes old favorites Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel, returning panelist Heidi Klum and newbie Sofia Vergara. And while “AGT” fans and contestants know by now what kinds of acts Cowell, Mandel and Klum love and hate, the “Modern Family” alum’s preferences will be a mystery until Season 15 premieres.
Well, everything but her intense dislike of the ukulele, that is, as she revealed that particular pet peeve on Thursday’s “Tonight Show.”
“Sometimes I wonder, there are people that come and I don’t know if they’re really honest that they think they deserve to be there and win $1 million, or if they’re just doing it for the fun of it,” Vergara told Jimmy Fallon when discussing what she has learned during her first-year stint judging the NBC competition series. “So that’s kind of weird. But also I realized something I had never even thought in my 47 years of my life: I don’t really enjoy the ukulele.”
“I don’t know. I don’t love it that much. When the act comes out — I never even thought of a ukulele until now!” she added. “What is it? It’s so tiny. It’s not a guitar. What is it? I don’t know. I’m not saying there are not acts that are good with the ukulele but it’s not my favorite. It doesn’t excite me.”
Vergara said she did not know at the beginning of her “AGT” judging career that “the ukulele was gonna cause this” feeling, but she still tries to be “fair” to ukulele players.
“I do try to open my heart and I say, ‘OK, it’s a ukulele, but,'” she said, before being interrupted by Jimmy’s laughter. “No, but I try to be fair. I give them the chance. I don’t just push the red button because the ukulele showed up. I give them the chance.”

And now for an ongoing segment soon to be sticking around for way long.......

Tipsytune's Twitch Partner Watch 2020: The road to being officially offical.

It appears that this past Sunday, Tipsy has decided to enter the 1st annual Jackbox games'  Bakin It contest. All of the people who are playing jackbox decided to do an assigment related to baking. Here's what he did.

This Friday morning, the company chose him to be in the top 5, but who was his competition?

If you will please comment #1 as the top choice to let him win the Bakin' It competition. Can I have some cake?

(song stops)

Right now, let's award another streamer who bakes it and takes it. The perfect recipe for the candidate involes these ingredients:

must have a length of at least one year, can be of any variety or stick to a common game, viewership numbers on average and the most important category of all: the ability to play Jackbox games on any days or a moment's notice. Yes, Livewire! is proud to award.....

The Twitchhead of the month award!

Our recipient for the month is PablocordonX. He hails from the Tata Nation but he does marketing when he's not streaming around. By nightfall, he decides to do himself with mostly Jackbox but here and there, he does Words on Stream. He also has 8................count em, 8 stray dogs. That's about plenty of bags of dog food for them to go around. But he's the only late night Jackbox head as far as I know. So if you need some 3rd shift action, head over to:

So PabloCOrdonx, with a name that reminds me of Fernando Valenzuela and Don Francisco........

https://youtu.be/Zwgp2o-Vusg

You are the Twitchhead of the month for May of 2020.  You get an imaginary plaque to hang on the wall for all to see, bragging rights and what else Madison Brunoehler?

Madison: A dish of Chicken Cordon Bleu along with rotel dip with tortilla chips from the supermarket. Don't even think about messing your fingers all over your clothes. Know what I'm sayin?

Me: Word up. Join us again in June to see who else is in the Twitch fiesta.

Lindsay Arnold‘s exciting baby news is sad news for “Dancing with the Stars” fans. Due in November, the pro will not be on Season 29 this fall, should it go forward amid the coronavirus pandemic, but she does hope to be involved in some way — and she’ll definitely return post-baby.
“I don’t know exactly what the plans are for the show, but I’m due in mid-November, which would be around the time that I’d be doing the freestyle if I was in the finals, so that won’t work,” Arnold told “Entertainment Tonight” (watch below). “I’ve spoken with the producers. I will not be dancing this season, but I’m hoping to be part of the show in other ways that I can be, so that’s going to be something that we work on for sure.”
Since “Dancing” airs once a year, the 26-year-old plans on returning to the show next fall. “I’ll have our baby in November, which gives me about 10 months to have time with the little babe, and then get back into shape and get back into dancing to hopefully be back around for the next fall season,” she shared. “That’s sort of the plan, and that’s what I intend to do. I have every intention of coming back. I mean, I love that show, I can’t see me not wanting to be a part of it in some way for the rest of my life as long as they will have me.”

Are you hungry to witness a rage-filled chef throw platters of undercooked filet mignons and raw scallops against the wall to express his anger at cowering inept cooks? Yeah, me too. So you might be thrilled to hear that Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” is up and running again starting this Tuesday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Here is your Twitter invite:
Alas, Fox is serving leftovers here as it is a repeat showing of Season 17’s All Stars edition when 16 former contestants from past seasons were pitted against one another. Michelle Tribble, who previously finished in third place in Season 14, won the competition on February 2, 2018.
Perhaps you are starving to watch Gordon Ramsay berate chefs for their lack of cooking skills and foolish mistakes and don’t mind watching a warmed-over rerun. We are all desperate for restaurants to open again during the pandemic and this is one safe way to do it.
However, Fox has just announced that Season 19 will return to the network in as early as January or closer to spring in 2021. The last fresh helping of show was when the 18th season kicked off on Sept. 28, 2018, and ended on Feb. 8 in 2019. The theme was “Rookies vs. Veterans,” and the winner was Ariel Fox, who found redemption after coming in third place on Season 6. Fox turned down the job of being executive chef of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Instead, she went back to her job as concept executive chef for Dos Caminos, which has five restaurants in and around Manhattan.

Not too long ago on Brackit, a girl by the name of Zellie Short came up with which 90's Nickelodeon show she likes the best. Little known fact: She is from my hometown of Memphis. Germantown, to be exact. Anyhoodles, enjoy this little highlight reel they put together.

Amazon Original LOL: Last One Laughing Australia Official Trailer
The Six-Part Comedy Experiment Hosted by Rebel Wilson Premieres Friday, June 19th on Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer for LOL: Last One Laughing Australia. Hosted by Rebel Wilson, the six-episode comedic series premieres June 19, 2020 exclusively on Prime Video. The series will premiere new episodes weekly, culminating with its finale on July 3, 2020.
Hosted by Rebel Wilson, LOL: Last One Laughing Australia, 10 professional comedians go head-to-head to see who can keep a straight face while simultaneously trying to make their opponents laugh, in this first-of-its-kind comedy social experiment. Comedians who laugh will be eliminated one-by-one, until a single comedian remains. With $100,000 on the line, who will Rebel crown the Last One Laughing?
In the six-hour competition, there are no rules. Comedians can say and do whatever they like, except laugh. Laugh softly, and you'll receive a yellow card violation. A second offence will earn you a red card elimination and cost you the game. Missing out on $100,000 is no laughing matter!
LOL: Last One Laughing Australia, is hosted and executive produced by Australian actress, writer and producer Rebel Wilson and features leading Australian comedians Dilruk Jayasinha, Frank Woodley, Nazeem Hussain, Anne Edmonds, Ed Kavalee, Becky Lucas, Joel Creasey, Nick Cody, Sam Simmons and Susie Youssef.
Produced in conjunction with Endemol Shine Australia, LOL: Last One Laughing Australia is executive produced by Marty Benson and David McDonald. The series was shot in 2019, and filmed non-stop to capture the hilarious action and banter from Rebel Wilson and the Australian comedians who each bring diverse comedic styles to the table: stand-up, character, improvisational, and physical comedy with the occasional prop cameo.
LOL: Last One Laughing Australia follows the format of the successful Amazon Original series from Japan, HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documental, produced by and starring comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto who leads ten comedians betting their own money in an anything goes "battle of laughter behind closed doors." The format was also launched in Mexico with comedian Eugenio Derbez as the laugh-house's host.
LOL: Last One Laughing joins the growing list of Australian Amazon Original series, including The Test: A New Era for Australia's Team, the series of 10 stand-up comedy specials by some of Australia's best comedians, and the upcoming Back to the Rafters.

Kristin Cavallari announced this week that her E! reality show would come to an end following the announcement of her divorce from husband Jay Cutler.
“As I start this new chapter in my life, I have decided not to continue with ‘Very Cavallari,'” Cavallari wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “I’ve absolutely loved my time filming and am so grateful to E! Entertainment for making this journey possible. To the fans: I can’t thank you enough for all your support and for keeping up with me all of these years. I love you guys”
The series, which debuted in 2018 and ran for three seasons, centered on the “The Hills” alum and the employees of at her Uncommon James store in Nashville. Cutler, a former NFL quarterback, was also featured prominently.
Cavallari and Cutler married in 2013 and share three children. The couple announced their divorce last month, describing the decision as a “loving conclusion.”
“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of,” the couple said at the time. “This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

Chris Watson and Bri Stauss are still making beautiful music together because you can stream to their new album now! The inaugural champs of “The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart” recorded an entire album, “Chris & Bri,” in quarantine and dropped it Monday night after the finale on their website.
“Somehow, we made an album. In two months, in different states recording, in different studios, writing everything through FaceTime,” Bri told “Entertainment Tonight” (watch below). “It was insane. I was able to come to L.A. for two weekends before the lockdown happened and then the rest was finished through FaceTime, and it was just insane.”
A 10-track LP, the album consists of five originals and five covers that the couple performed on the show, which finished filming in February. See the track listing below.
1. “Found You”
2. “360”
3. “I Do”
4. “Your Touch”
5. “Heart Open”
6. “Beyond” (Leon Bridges)
7. “Lover” (Taylor Swift)
8. “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (Elvis Presley)
9. “Give Me Love” (Ed Sheeran)
10. “Make You Feel My Love” (Adele)
“It’s really interesting to write about our relationship, because you just write about the aspects that you’ve experienced so far,” Chris said. “We’ve just experienced all the honeymoon-type stuff. And then the stuff where it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s been hard.’ … It’s been a lot of best parts about a relationship that we’ve been able to write about.”
As part of the grand prize, the pair was also supposed to tour together before the coronavirus pandemic changed everyone’s plans. But the tour is still on the docket whenever it’s safe again to hit the road. “We are still planning on going on tour and connecting with our fans and sharing our music the way that we want to. We’re not gonna let coronavirus get us down,” Chris shared. “We’re going to look forward to putting out some online concerts and stuff like that.”
While Chris and Bri are not quarantining together — she has a compromised immune system — they are still very much together and have discussed marriage. “I’m not trying to get married tomorrow. And I know Bri isn’t either. We’re not trying to get married next month, but in the future, for sure,” he said.

Even more related to music......
