What you've just heard was a foray into Buzzr turning 5 years old next month. Yep.  5 years old and still drinking juice boxes and eating apple slices while watching the oldies GSN should've kept it to themselves instead of airing something from the 2000s. GSN thinks these youngsters don't know anything in the last 5 years about oldies, but Buzzr said to themselves, "Yeah, we'll show you what classic game shows are." Game show fans can finally get what they're wishing for like MG-HSH and Concentration all the way back from 1976. As a gift to the fans, the network decided to give you new episodes of Password Plus and Classic Concentration plus a few tricks up their sleeve to celebrate 5 years and giving GSN the beating of their life. Happy Anniversary Buzzr! Keep playing on!

The Daytime Emmy Awards are making their triumphant return to broadcast television. The 47th annual salute to pre-dusk programming — which was originally expected to be canceled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic — will air Friday, June 26 at 8/7c on CBS.
According to CBS, the broadcast will only include leading categories, with recipients and special guests appearing virtually from home. Additional categories will be announced on Twitter (@DaytimeEmmys) during the broadcast, while others are being held for a separate ceremony happening in July.
This announcement marks a major win for the Daytime Emmys, which have been relegated to an online live stream for the past four years. The ceremony last aired on television in 2015 via Pop TV.
Nominations for the 47th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday and ABC's General Hospital led the soapy pack with 23 total nods, edging out Days of Our Lives' 22. The Young and the Restless followed with 21, while CBS sister series The Bold and the Beautiful netted 13.

3 Ball Productions has secured the US format rights to Belgian outfit Woestijnvis' 'Covid-19-safe' competition series The Container Cup.
The original version of the show, which premiered on Belgium's Vier network last month, puts athletic celebrities to the test against professional athletes in a variety of physical challenges – with all the action taking place inside two massive shipping containers.
The format is sold by Benelux distributors Primitives and was put together by Woestijnvis – which originated the reality-game show The Mole in 1998 – in six weeks specifically as an "exciting" and "noisy" offering that could be produced safely under Covid-19 restrictions. During the run of the series,
Vier's average market share improved by 230% and within the first week, the format was optioned to Germany, France and the Netherlands, with further deals currently pending in Spain, Italy, UK and other territories. The series was also designed to help support first responders and others during the pandemic, with athletes competing for the charity of their choice.
3 Ball Media Group's Reinout Oerlemans said: "So much of regular life has been upended during this crisis and so to be able to find and act on the bright spots, as creatives, is extremely gratifying. "We know athletes live to compete and that they haven't been able to during the Covid lockdowns. We also know that audiences are clamouring for fun and exciting content that can feel inspirational.
"This show can rally the whole family around a unique and positive entertainment experience that blends serious athleticism with fun and feel-good humour – all done in a way that is safe and COVID-compliant for all involved, and culminates with a significant donation on behalf of the winning athlete."

One of Australia's most beloved gameshows Family Feud is coming back to TV, with some big changes for a very good cause.
Channel 10 has announced Family Feud will be back on our screens later this year, with Grant Denyer again in the hosting role. The network said the show has been enjoying "a rest" as the country battles the coronavirus.
However from July, Channel 10 and Fremantle will begin production of the show for "a special prime-time television event".
It's the first time the show will return to screens since it was axed by 10 in 2018. "The Feud's back baby!" Denyer exclaimed. "I can't wait to run amok with more nervous and excited Australian families, to have lots of laughs, forget our troubles and have a damn good time giving away record amounts of cash."

BBC One's Danny Dyer-fronted game show The Wall is set to be filmed in the UK instead of Poland, as a growing number of British producers look to switch to domestic production to keep shows on track during the coronavirus crisis.
Deadline reports that Endemol Shine Group producer Remarkable Television is drawing up plans to shoot Season 2 of The Wall at a studio in the UK, rather than at the group's production hub in Warsaw where the first series was made. I
t comes as the UK government is warning against "all but essential international travel," while Poland is restricting the number of people allowed to enter the country and new arrivals are expected to quarantine for two weeks.

Here's a Game Show Live! follow along on the LA COvid-19 stay at home extended mix.

Governor Gavin Newsom announced during his Tuesday Coronavirus press conference that, while he had hoped to present guidelines for restarting film and TV production today, he is pushing back that announcement to confer with guilds and producers.
"We chose to engage a little more formally" in the conversations, he said. "We want to extend them [the deadline] to later this week, possibly this weekend, because we are working with both industry and labor and they want to tighten up some aspects of the guidelines."
When asked more specifically about the holdup, Newsom said that "industry and labor asked for more time as they worked through some issues." He said he sees the delay as a positive development since some of these were issues "that predated this pandemic."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But we're not gonna holdup for long as we start the Mistplay Game Break as you look at this......

With DWTS already the best thing to combine ballroom dancing and celebrities, ABC decided.....why not both? I bring you...............

If DWTS took place in a hockey rink, then this one-season wonder is interesting. It's called "Skating With The Stars." Vernon Kay straight from the UK decided to do it for the paycheck and host this puppy in the US. The stars featured actress Sean Young, Rebecca Budig from the now-gone All My Children and Brandon Mychal Smith, the only person to withdraw from the show not due to an injury like DWTS does sometimes.......but an illness. This was before Covid-19, people. the judges were DIck Button, a figure skating legend, Jonny Weir, another skating commenator and Laurieann Gibson, a choreograper. This was 4 years after Skating with Celebrities on FOX hit the airwaves. Even though the chick who played Greenlee won the first and only trophy for the show, DWTS kept it going for more seasons. What's next, Skateboarding with The Stars?
