Alec Baldwin has sued the man who accused him of punching him over a parking space dispute in New York City last year.
In the lawsuit, which was filed Friday in Manhattan Supreme Court, Baldwin says the man, Wojciech Cieszkowski, lied about their encounter, which took place in November 2018.
Baldwin was arrested on Nov. 2, 2018, after police said he got into a fight with Cieszkowski over a parking space that a Baldwin family member had attempted to hold for the actor. Cieszkowski accused Baldwin of throwing punches and later went to the hospital for jaw pain and injuries to his neck. Baldwin, soon after being arrested, denied he threw any punches and said that the incident was “egregiously misstated.”
Baldwin pleaded not guilty to assault and harassment charges.

Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba admits she's super frustrated the judging panel is having to send home skilled, high-scoring celebrity contestants each week due to home-viewer votes, which have allowed former White House press secretary Sean Spicer to stick around.
It's disappointing to see people go home like this week after week, and Sean is staying in, but it's always been a partnership between the judges and the people," Carrie Ann told Entertainment Tonight after Monday night's show.

"That is what Dancing with the Stars is. I can't get too mad, but yeah, I'm a little frustrated. I'm a lot frustrated."

Pop star Ally Brooke and actress Kate Flannery both fell into the bottom two on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars performance show based on the combination of judges' scores and home viewer votes cast live during the two-hour Season 28 broadcast.
Along with her fellow Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann could only save one of the two ladies from elimination, and Kate and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov were sent packing as a result.

When Carrie Ann was shown voting to keep Ally and her pro partner Sasha Farber in the competition over Kate and Pasha, she admittedly was "absolutely confused" and "a little irritated" she had been put in such a position when Sean had been receiving the lowest scores week after week.

"This is a dancing competition. It's nothing else. It's supposed to be about the best dancer. Put it where it counts!" Carrie Ann exclaimed in her interview with ET.

Ally and Sasha fell into the bottom two despite having received the first perfect score of the season on Monday night, 30 out 30 points from the judges.

Although Kate and Pasha only earned themselves 24 points for their routine, Sean landed in last place on the judges' leaderboard with 20 points.

"What I want to say about this is, there are people who are working their butts off, and we've gotten so many complaints in the past seasons about not the best dancer winning," Carrie Ann said, seemingly referring to the controversy over Bobby Bones winning last season with his pro partner Sharna Burgess.

As Dancing with the Stars viewers may recall, Bobby was extremely popular on the show among voters and kept advancing until he made the finale. Along the way, better dancers were ousted from the show in his place.

And now for your Game Show Live! Crowning moment of awesomeness of excellence.
A Columbia University freshman who won $100,000 earlier this year on the "Jeopardy!" Teen Tournament has donated part of his winnings to a cancer research center in honor of the game show's longtime host, Alex Trebek.
Portland NBC affiliate KGW reported that Avi Gupta wrote a check for $10,314 – signifying the first digits of pi – to the Oregon Health & Science University’s Knight Cancer Institute.
Gupta told KGW that he hoped the donation would fund early cancer detection efforts in honor of Trebek, who announced his own cancer diagnosis in March.
“This is in honor of 'Jeopardy' host Alex Trebek, a man who's been a role model for me my whole life,” he said.
“Everyone knows someone or has been affected by cancer in some way,” Gupta added to KGW. “I believe scientists are winning the fight against cancer, we just need to help them to do more.”

So Avi Gupta......You Get the crown.
In addition, you get this brand new short little ditty of a cover that Lvl_up_together of Denver, Co. put together for us. Boys.........HIT IT!

The Emmys: Gender Neutral fun for everyone!

The confirmed merging of the Younger Actor and Young Actress categories into one, gender-neutral award is but one of many changes on tap for the 2020 Daytime Emmy Awards.
NATAS has announced a slew of changes and updates for the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which as recently reported will now be held across three nights, Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 14.
The changes include but are not limited to:
Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series replaces the Outstanding Younger Actor and Younger Actress in a Drama Series categories, as well as eliminates the gender of the category.
* All performers eligible for gendered acting categories are encouraged to enter the one they feel best fits their gender identity — as Asia Kate Dillon, a non-binary cast member of Showtime’s Billions, does by choosing to compete in the Supporting Actor category at the Primetime Emmys.
* These categories are now open to both Broadcast Dramas and Digital Drama entrants:
Outstanding Art Direction/Set Direction/Scenic Design
Outstanding Casting
Outstanding Costume Design
Outstanding Lighting Direction
Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing
Outstanding Music Direction and Composition
* Outstanding Makeup, Outstanding Costumes and Outstanding Hairstyling reels must now include only “everyday” makeup and hairstyling. Special event, Halloween, special effects, prosthetic or period makeup and hairstyling reels belong in a newly created Outstanding Special Effects Costumes, Makeup and Hairstyling category.
* Other new categories include Outstanding Young Adult Program (created for tween and teen viewers 12- 17 years old, and accepting Series and Specials) and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Animated Program.
* Outstanding Performer in a Children’s or Family Viewing Program has been replaced with two categories: Outstanding Principal Performance in a Children’s, Family Viewing, Young Adult, or Special Class Program, and Outstanding Limited Performance in a Children’s, Family Viewing, Young Adult Program, or Special Class Program (whereby Limited is defined as appearing in 25% or less of the total episodes for the season, appearing on screen in 25% or less of the entire Special, and/or onscreen Guest credit).
Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program has been eliminated.

Netflix is set to hit “play” on Jenna Dewan’s Soundtrack just before Christmas: Season 1 of the long-gestating musical drama will drop on Wednesday, Dec. 18, TVLine has confirmed.
Soundtrack (fka Mixtape), which was created by Joshua Safran (Quantico, Smash), is described as “groundbreaking drama that explores the love stories connecting a diverse group of Angelenos through the music that lives inside their hearts and minds.” Dewan stars opposite Christina Milian (Falling Inn Love) and Madeleine Stowe (Revenge).
Soundtrack‘s debut has been a long time coming. A pilot was originally developed at Fox for the 2018-19 season, but was ultimately passed over. Then, in July 2018, Netflix swooped in with a 10-episode order.

The Chase star Jenny Ryan has become the people’s choice to sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film after she smashed her performance on The X Factor: Celebrity. Jenny, a late addition to the live shows after viewer backlash, was totally transformed from her Vixen look for her standout performance. On Saturday night she wowed the judges with her performance of Rise Like A Phoenix by Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst. Instead of voluminous hair and glasses, Jenny became a glittering pop diva in a long tasseled gold kaftan and trousers and statement earrings, and her red hair slicked down. Her look was a long way away from how fans of the ITV quiz show are used to seeing her on weekday afternoons. And the song choice had viewers calling for the quiz whizz to take on another new role – joining the likes of Adele, Sam Smith, Madonna, Shirley Bassey by singing the theme song for a James Bond movie. ‘Well. That performance confirmed Jenny Ryan as one of my favourite people. What a performance! What a voice! What a song choice! Next Bond theme,’ read one fan tweet with the hashtag #Goosebumps.

Philadelphia may have had The Class-h Room, but Pittsburgh will soon follow suit.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA)– The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is looking to fill roles for a new game show, Game Time!
Pittsburgh’s first locally-produced game show brings physical activity, competition, and fun into one arena.
“Four audience members from each team are randomly selected to play each game for four total rounds, with each round featuring an entirely new and unpredictable game. At the end of all four rounds, the team with the highest score spins a prize wheel to determine the grand prize each player will receive,” said officials from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
The pilot season will be scheduled on the last Saturday of every month from April through September of 2020.
Currently, the show needs a host and a game master.
Both roles will be compensated $200 for each appearance in a show and $50 for rehearsals before the launch in 2020.
To audition for the Host role you will need to submit two videos. One will be of you performing an opening monologue and the second video will contain commentary you may giving during scenarios in a show.
Four finalists will then be invited to host a shortened version of the show in front of a live audience.
The Game Master is required to submit a video of your character with non-verbal responses to situations and questions that may arise in the show.
the four finalists will be invited to audition with whoever holds the Host role.
Interested individuals can apply here.
In the latest example of why we all love him, Bill Murray has fessed up to a Family Feud obsession. And not just any obsession, either — according to Murray, his devotion to the syndicated game show is defined by a very specific viewing habit. Not surprisingly, this secret tactic toes the line between kooky and genius which, you know, basically sums up the brilliance of Murray himself.
While Murray has been known to crash things like house parties and personal photoshoots to reveal new sides of himself, this latest revelation came courtesy of Amy Schumer. The comedian got Murray to open up about his viewing preferences (among many other things) for her 3 Girls 1 Keith podcast, which also features co-hosts Bridget Everett, Rachel Feinstein and Keith Robinson. During the candid convo, Murray admitted that the show he watches most at home is Family Feud. There’s a twist, though.
“I’m going to give you my little secret: I record it. I can come home and I have recorded 61 episodes of Family Feud, because it’s on all day long. It’s on all day long and by law it has to be on all day long,” he said, building up to his big reveal. “But then, what I do is I take the time to fast forward in each episode all the way to Fast Money. ‘Cause that to me is the excitement part of the show.”

But we fast foward again to Christa Nannos doing this before we hit the eject button for good.

That's all for now, but remember one thing:  Will Elizabeth Banks ever record a jazz song? And if so, how much free time does she have left?

So until next time and all the time....play on playas.
