 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

It's another wild ride as "Bachelor in Paradise" will return for its sixth season this summer with favorite members of Bachelor Nation getting another chance at finding love. Host and keeper of the keys, Chris Harrison, greets the familiar men and women that are hoping to find love on the beach like Ashley I. and Jared, Carly and Evan, and Jade and Tanner.
Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelor" and "Bachelor in Paradise" are productions of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television. Martin Hilton, Mike Fleiss, Nicole Woods, Bennett Graebner and Elan Gale are the executive producers of "The Bachelor." "Bachelor in Paradise" is executive produced by Martin Hilton, Mike Fleiss, Nicole Woods and Bennett Graebner.
Meanwhile, the recipient of the 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014 Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, "Shark Tank" features The Sharks - tough, self-made, multimillionaire and billionaire tycoons - as they invest in America's best businesses and products. The Sharks will give people from all walks of life the chance to chase the American dream and potentially secure business deals that could make them millionaires. Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill, Yun Lingner, Max Swedlow, Phil Gurin, and Sharks Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John & Kevin O'Leary are the executive producers of "Shark Tank," which is based on the Japanese "Dragons' Den" format, created by Nippon Television Network Corporation. The series is produced by MGM Television in association with Sony Pictures Television.

As for "Dancing with the Stars", newly-installed Alphabet entertainment president Karey Burke addressed the speculation Tuesday at the Television Critics Assoc. winter press tour, declaring unequivocally that the show will "definitely be returning in the fall." Regarding the decision to skip a spring cycle for the first time in franchise history, Burke deflected, "That decision was made before I got here."
Having skipped this spring outright and aired an abbreviated all-athletes edition a year ago, could DWTS ever be a proper twice-a-year show again? "We're in conversations about that," Burke told TVLine. "They're coming in soon to talk about their plans for the fall, and we'll discuss it then."

After this commercial word, a positive story you don't want to miss. That's.......when Game Show Live returns.

(fade to break)

A dinner that we actually paid for at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse. You'll get a selection of their finest ribs, steaks or seafoods along with appetizers and even side dishes. Even a dessert too and wash it down with some water. Now back to our dinner date disaster,  Pierre Kelly!

Me: Thank you Madi and welcome back. Later on, why we freak out over pizza. Yummy.

The real live online quiz truth in real live online quiz news, suckers!

HQ is cozying up with Google.
Most famous for viral app HQ trivia, the company is launching an "action" for Google Assistant called HQ University on Feb. 11. The game is quite similar to HQ trivia: Players answer 12 questions that get increasingly challenging. Players are walked through the game with HQ trivia host Scott Rogowsky and teacher's assistant Fredo (a voice bot).
However, people playing HQ University don't have the chance to win cash. The game is intended to help users get better at playing trivia. The game is available on Google Home, Smart Displays that have Google Assistant and the Google Assistant app on smartphones.
Even though it's a voice-first experience, players using Smart Display or Android phones will have special interactions on their screens. This game is part of an ongoing sponsorship deal between Google and HQ, which began last year.
HQ declined to share how much Google has paid, so far.

A new app's creators think they know the key to dating success: a trivia-oriented game show where the questions revolve around a bachelorette. It's a unique idea, for sure, albeit one that I can't imagine having wide appeal.
The game, called Quiz Date Live, comes from a company called East Meets East, which has raised $4 million in funding to get its iOS show off the ground. The team plans to monetize in a way similar to the mobile HQ game show by giving users the option to purchase extra lives. The game has two parts, and the second part has three rounds.
The first part involves a contestant who the company chooses based on email entries, telling potential participants about herself. The second part is where that shared information comes into play. In round one, users have to answer multiple choice questions based on that live stream. In round two, the bachelorette asks players questions to get to know them better, which they then answer through SMS texts. The single person will pick her top three people (based on their answers) to be in round three.
In round three, those final three are then asked to "impress" the contestant with a song, dance, poetry, or whatever else. This is streamed to viewers live. The winner, as chosen by the contestant, gets to go on an expense-paid date, like a helicopter ride or a dinner at a fancy restaurant.
A host is present during the live game, in addition to the bachelorette, to keep the game flowing and to moderate the live stream.

Facebook keeps plowing more money into original programming for Watch: The company ordered a six-part docu-series on NBA superstar Stephen Curry and set a Feb. 20 premiere date for BuzzFeed News' interactive trivia game show "Outside Your Bubble."
BuzzFeed News is gearing up for next week's launch of "Outside Your Bubble," powered by Facebook's interactive game-show platform, hosted at facebook.com/OYB.
The live trivia show — which promises cash prizes to both in-studio contestants and audience members — is the latest move into the genre inspired by the popularity of HQ Trivia. Facebook last year launched its own live trivia game show, "Confetti," which bestows cash prizes.
BuzzFeed's "Outside Your Bubble" was an experimental concept that originated in early 2017 as an attempt to show readers what's happening outside their own social-media cocoon. The game show challenges contestants to reach across the cultural divide to guess what their opponents on the other side are thinking.
The show will be hosted by Brian Tong, an online, TV and radio host, creator and podcaster who is one of the hosts for WarnerMedia's DC Universe. "Outside Your Bubble" features a dynamic jackpot that can fluctuate throughout the show, depending on decisions that are made by the studio contestants.
Richard Brown serves as showrunner and executive producer of "Outside Your Bubble," along with BuzzFeed News head of programming Cindy Vanegas-Gesuale and VP of news and programming Shani Hilton.

And now for something completely different. Publishers Clearing House has an app now called Wincredible. They have three games a day, at 2, 5, and 8 pm ET. Pixel Pop, Total Recall, and What's That? I just played Total Recall, where they showed 10 GIFs and then asked a question (how many puppies? What was the kid of car in the background? etc.)

You have until February 21st to do it, so get on this....

Plan accordingly. Finally.....

Cheddar, the leading post cable networks company, today announced its first-ever weeknight primetime programming, featuring Comedy Central’s critically-acclaimed business comedy series Nathan For You.
Named ‘Cheddar Nights,’ the weeknight block also includes live music game show Out of Tune, in which viewers have to guess a Top 40 song in under 10 seconds, and Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch, where entrepreneurs have 60 seconds pitch their business to real investors. Cheddar Nights will air on the Cheddar Business network weeknights 8 pm to 10 pm ET.
“After the bell rings and the market is closed, Cheddar Nights takes over with a fun, light way to wind down in the evening. These programs are a perfect fit with Cheddar’s millennial audience and focus on business content. Where else can you watch Nathan hilariously lending a hand to business owners, amazing entrepreneurs making their pitch during a 60-second elevator ride, and play along with the world’s first interactive music game show?” said Peter Gorenstein, Chief Content Officer at Cheddar.
Out of Tune, which averages thousands of live players, will air live at 8 pm weekdays as part of Cheddar Nights and will also run a second show at 11 pm. With 90 percent of the audience under 34, the game features DJs playing twelve songs out of tune, giving players ten seconds to guess the correct title. The game is sticky. Even after players are eliminated, 65 percent stay for the entire game.

And that sadly was the real live online quiz truth in real live online quiz news, suckers!!!!!

Relationship Disasters. A month of disastrous TV shows involving dating.

Hide your eyes folks.

Dating Naked is an American reality dating game show shown on VH1, which debuted in July 2014. The show matched up several contestants who were routinely switched with other contestants. While contestants were nude most of the time, the show does not show contestants' genitals. Amy Paffrath served as the host for the first two seasons and was clothed in her appearances. The first season was filmed on an island in Panama.
The second season, re-titled Dating Naked: Playing for Keeps and filmed in the Philippines, premiered on July 22, 2015[2] and concluded on September 16, 2015.[3]
The third season, hosted by Rocsi Diaz and filmed in Bora Bora, premiered on June 29, 2016 and concluded on September 14, 2016.[1]
On April 14, 2017, VH1 announced that Dating Naked was canceled after three seasons, though VH1 left open the possibility of a future series reboot.
