And Across America.....and the world.........this is..............

Now here is America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi2TheMax and this of course is  Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it. Let's get into it with......

 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

PYL is casting.........again......and the interwebs are freaking game show fans right out!!!!!!

A casting notice went online for what appears to be a possible reboot of the 80s classic "Press Your Luck".
The show, owned by Fremantle and created by Bill Carruthers, was itself a reboot of a short-lived quiz show "Second Chance" from the 1970s. The show aired on CBS from 1983 to 1986, and rebooted for Game Show Network for 2002 to 2004.
Parsing the casting notice, there are references to ABC.
Contestants must be 21 years or older and legal residents of the United States.

As if that wasn't enough.....

Fresh off of a casting call for a new version of "Press Your Luck", Fremantle is apparently going deeper into its classic game show well for another long-dormant favorite - Card Sharks.
The Chester Feldman-created game of high-stakes acey-deucey is looking for contestants in the southern California area.
Originally a staple in the NBC daytime lineup during the late 70s & early 80s, it was rebooted twice - once in 1986 for CBS and again in 2001 for first-run syndication. A version of the game also played as part of CBS' "Gameshow Marathon" in 2006.

Contestants must be 21 years or older and legal residents of the United States.

The groundhog outside the offices must've seen his shadow....because it's the Yay & Yawn of February.

The yay:   Jeopardy! Their all-star games brings in the bestest brains to converge together with Professor Alex in a battle for the million.

The Yawn: Trivia Crack and Laugh Exchange. The former brought in obscure questions to trip the longtime players up and the viewership seemed to be in the vein of HQ but others went to do other things like HQ Words, The Q and Confetti. The latter had this to say:

"We started Laugh Exchange because we believe that comedians deserve to be rewarded and compensated for their time and talent. And while that remains as true as ever, we’ve always planned to expand to helping millions of creators in every category - artists, filmmakers, musicians, designers, writers, performers - be rewarded as well.
If a creator is educating, entertaining or inspiring us, we want to help them receive the thanks and support that encourages their art.
Given that mission, we’re excited to announce our next chapter. Over the coming days, you’ll see our primary brand - including socially and on the web - move from Laugh Exchange to Payge. Payge provides creators with a single destination where they can ask for and receive support, regardless of where their content is published or consumed."

May they go off into the trivia app scrapyard in the sky.

After this commercial word, A judge tackles Millionaire.....and another one......and another one.......

You'll see why when Game Show Live returns.

(fade to break)

Madison: Some members of our viewing audience will receive....

A dinner date at Krystal, home of the all square slider burgers along with Sunrisers in the morning and free wi-fi. A southern tradition for decades, Krystal also does food delivery, too. Now back to our slider at 3rd, Pierre Kelly!

Me: Thank you Madi and welcome back.   Later on, the history of the characters of the 1994 video game.......Shaq-Fu.

On March 13, 2019, players have the chance to win big from a potential prize pool of over $1,000,000 USD in Ripkord.tv's original live hosted game show - In or Out!
Building further excitement leading up to this huge monthly prize package, Ripkord.tv is hosting weekly events every Wednesday, where $100,000 USD is on the line!
"Nobody's done anything this big in the live social games space, and we are going big, offering players a chance at winning over $1 million dollars every month," said Todd Peterson, CEO and co-founder of Ripkord.tv. "It's a huge prize pool, and, with the way In or Out! is designed, our players start with a fifty percent chance of winning something right from the start, which is better than just about any other traditional game show or competition out there. Feeling lucky? Then In or Out is the game for you! Fire up the free-to-play game and pick a color — then watch the wheel spin. If it lands on your color, you must decide whether to stay IN or cash OUT. Stay in the game for hopes of a bigger payout, or split the current winning with other players that have cashed out and run... what do you do!? The choice is yours…
Winners must be over 18 years of age and restricted to the US and Canada with the exception of Quebec.

he Got Talent format is heading back to China after Hunan TV partnered with Fremantle and Syco Entertainment.
The broadcaster has ordered a 13-part series based on the format that will be known locally as Dian Feng Zhi (World's Got Talent) and will air in April.
It comes after a local version of Got Talent aired on Shanghai Media Group's Dragon TV for five seasons from 2010.
The show will bring together a number of the most popular acts from over 30 of the Got Talent franchises around the globe. These performers will take to the stage in Hunan, China to compete in a massive global competition with the hopes of claiming the ultimate title of China's World Champion of Got Talent and a grand prize.
Vivian Yin, CEO, Fremantle, China, said the reboot has been inspired by China's One Belt One Road initiative, the country's global trade and infrastructure program. "This production will welcome many exceptional acts who've already featured in many Got Talents around the world. It will celebrate the cultural diversity and stories of ordinary people with extraordinary talents together on the world's biggest stage in Changsha, China. We are thrilled that our partners Hunan TV and Syco Entertainment share the same vision and have made this unique project possible."
Lester Hu, Head of Formats and International Business, Hunan TV added, "As China's leading content producer and broadcaster, we've always been looking for big ideas with global influence. What Hunan TV is really after is co-developing original content with our partners by engaging global creative into local market at the very beginning of the development process. We are excited about hosting this massive television event that promotes intercultural communication and appreciation. Combined with our in-house production expertise, we trust that Dian Feng Zhi Lu will make a splash in both local and international markets."

So I would like to give a shout out to........The Adventures of Em for putting the Saturday mornings back to the fold.

Nestled in Chicago’s developing Fulton Market neighborhood sits the three-time Emmy Award-Winning studio, Threaded Films, the home base of Project Adventure, Inc. For the past eight months, a collection of streamers, performers, programmers, filmmakers, and designers have been hard at work collaborating on a new kind of out-of-this-world interactive, family-friendly program—a show where YOU, the audience, can directly interact with the story, LIVE!
Adventures of Em is the first interactive show for families on Twitch with stories that include puppets, stop-motion, animation, and live performances. The show  follows Em as she travels through time and space, live-streaming her adventures to audiences across the universe. The viewers are able to interact with the show, making each episode a unique experience.
It's like Star Trek meets Sesame Street mixed in with a bit of Dragon's Lair for a G-rated.....not grated.....G-Rated voyage through space. Part of the Super Funiverse franchise on Twitch, it ususally comes on before Banzai Baby at noon for crafts and cartoons, and only one on the docket, which is Sonic Underground, but there may be more on the way. In the meantime, click on this website for more.....

Relationship Disasters. A month of disastrous TV shows involving dating.
We found a rare discovery and it's called.....The Conveyor Belt of Love. Don't know what it is? Well....
Conveyor Belt of Love was a not-quite fly-by special romance contest in which five women check out thirty men on a conveyor belt. The belt stops for sixty seconds to enable the guys to make their cases, and if two girls pick the same guy, he gets to choose. In the end, each girl gets a guy.
If you thought MTV's dating classic Singled Out was good, this one on ABC in 2010 was a one-off polar opposite that would've worked well on late nights in syndication. One columnist in Pagesix.com said this....
"I’m hesitant to use the word “breakout” in regard to any of the contestants on last night’s “Conveyor Belt of Love” premiere, but the fact remains that bachelorette Keiko (Tila Tequila meets Megan Hauserman) is destined for greatness!
Throughout the night she was cold, dismissive and brutally honest — flipping up her “Not Interested” sign and loudly announcing her lack of attraction whenever a sliding suitor indicated they may not mesh in the slightest. Keiko also took it upon herself to mock the other bachelorette’s choices despite selecting (and sticking with till the end) a speedo-clad himbo toting his mini-dog."
Ew.com also wrote this....
"If Conveyor Belt (and its contestants) tried a little less hard to beg for my attention and focused more on off-beat stories of love, I might continue watching. Otherwise, not interested."
You knew it was a hard pass on that one. Alright, one more. Stereogum.com writes this....
"As far as what this show says about “love” or “modern dating,” obviously the answer is nothing. In fact, in the world of reality TV, which is emotionally retarded and intellectually stunted as a rule, I would be hard pressed (nullus) to find a show that says LESS about “love” or “modern dating” than Conveyor Belt of Love. “Modern love is all about sixty second attempts to get the good side of the paddle and then go on an unfulfilling afternoon date at a low-rent outdoor cafe surrounded by a second-tier camera crew.” No. But this show does tell us one thing about the way we live now: WE LOVE THINGS ON CONVEYOR BELTS STILL."
So, Conveyor Belt of Love takes a conveyor belt into a....
