The former Dance Moms star has been released from the Victorville Federal Correctional Institution in California after about eight months in prison, People reported

Abby has been transferred to the Residential Reentry Center in Long Beach, which is a halfway house that provides a supervised and regimented environment where she'll receive employment counseling and financial management assistance, as well as potential job placement, according to TMZ.

The 51-year-old dance instructor and studio owner is reportedly scheduled to be released from the halfway house on May 25.

Abby was sentenced in May 2017 and began serving her 366-day prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud in July 2017. The original year-long sentence was supposed to be followed by two years supervised release, according to People

Abby had pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud in Pittsburgh, PA, in June 2016. In addition to serving time, Abby had been fined $40,000 and was told to pay the $120,000 judgement.

Abby was indicted in 2015 on 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud, false bankruptcy declarations and concealment of bankruptcy assets once the FBI, IRS, and postal inspectors conducted an investigation.

Kiss Me Deadly?

Luke Bryan defends the infamous kiss on American Idol.

Luke revealed on Australia's The Morning Show that Katy's little kiss with auditioner Benjamin Isaac Glaze, a 19-year-old Oklahoma cashier at the time, was blown way out of proportion.

"It's unfortunate that stuff like that turns into a story that big," the country crooner, 41, said. "I watched an actual interview where Ben, the kid that was involved, said that he was cool with everything."

During the premiere of American Idol's revival on ABC, the judging panel asked Ben whether he's ever kissed a girl in reference to Katy's smash hit "I Kissed a Girl."

After Ben admitted he had no experience in that area and was waiting to be in a relationship to have his first kiss, Katy asked him for a peck on the cheek -- only to quickly turn her head and plant one on his lips. Ben appeared shocked and bewildered as the judges giggled, cheered and clapped.

But Ben then admitted to The New York Times the kiss was "a tad bit uncomfortable" and unwanted, which sparked criticism in light of the "Me Too" movement that he was disrespected and had a sexual act forced on him.

"I've got to back Katy on that," Luke told The Morning Show. "She's in there working hard and making fun TV. We are going to get it right sometimes and get it wrong sometimes."

Becca's Back!!!

Becca Kufrin is back....this time as The Bachelorette.

Season 14 of The Bachelorette began filming on March 15 in Los Angeles, CA, with show creator Mike Fleiss providing fans updates along the way on social media.

"Gassing up the limos for Night One... #The Bachelorette meets her guys tonite!!!" Fleiss tweeted early Thursday afternoon.

Hours later, Fleiss posted a photo on Twitter of a woman hosing down the mansion's courtyard at the entrance, writing, "Sun is setting. Almost time for #TheBachelorette to arrive!!!"

Photos then followed of the limo driver as well as Chris standing with Becca ahead of the limo arrivals.

For her The Bachelorette debut, Becca stunned in a sparkly ivory gown featuring a halter top and a complete open back. She wore her hair down and curly, with one side tucked behind her ear.

Also on Thursday night, Fleiss shared an image of Becca standing with Harrison and himself as well as another male producer. Fleiss wrote alongside the picture, "Cinderella goes to the ball! #TheBachelorette."

As the men arrived, Fleiss poked fun at guys wearing no socks, as well as one bachelor who attempted to rock a vest with no jacket.
