Regular anchors Sage Steele, Jay Harris and Randy Scott will welcome Harrison to the set for multiple segments during the 7-10 a.m. ET program.

Harrison and Steele, who will work together on ABC's telecast of the 2018 MISS AMERICACompetition on Sept. 10, are friends and have talked about Harrison's love of sports for the past two years. Harrison revealed his interest in visiting ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., to Steele as well as his desire to appear on SPORTSCENTER and Steele set the wheels in motion.

Oh, and if Tom Phillips and Michael Cole want in.......

A seat for congress you won't throw

Daytime TV host and former Cincinnati mayor Jerry Springer says he'll decide soon whether to leave television and return to Ohio politics.

Springer, 73, attended a Cleveland union rally on Labor Day, fueling speculation that he's testing the waters to become a Democratic candidate for Ohio governor in 2018.  He's also been doing focus groups and appearing at Democratic fundraisers, reported Jo Ingles of Ohio Public Radio.
The 27th season of the nationally syndicated daytime "Jerry Springer Show," starts September 11.  It was No. 1 on TV Guide’s list of the "Worst Shows In The History Of Television” in 2002. Springer has said many times that he would not run for office while the daytime tabloid TV show was on the air.
"I've got to make a decision soon," Springer said Tuesday after recording his weekly Jerry Springer podcast at the Folk School Coffee Parlor in Ludlow, Ky.
In the past month, the pressure has intensified for him to return to Ohio politics, he says. Springer indicated that he was being encouraged to run for a variety of offices, not just the governor's spot on the ticket in 2018. (In June, Howard Wilkinson said Springer was being urged to challenge U.S. Rep. Brad Wenstrup.)
No Word yet on when Steve Wilkos will run for Illinois senate.
The Aces of Comedy series welcomes Emmy nominated comedian Howie Mandel to the Terry Fator Theater, along with special guest Puddles Pity Party, November 24 - 25 at 10 p.m. inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino. Mandel has starred in countless comedy specials, both on cable and network television. Puddles Pity Party, known as the "sad clown with the golden voice" who recently appeared on "America's Got Talent," will bring his brilliant sense of the absurd, mixing humor with awkward, tender moments.
Tickets starting at $39.99, plus service charges, are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the Terry Fator Box Office, online at mirage.comorticketmaster.com, or by calling (800) 963-9634or (702) 792-7777. Children over the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older). Children under 16 are not permitted.
Mandel has remained a constant force in show business for more than 30 years. He is executive producer of many shows through his Production Company Alevy Productions, which has produced the series "Take It All" and "Howie Do It" for NBC, "Deal With It" for TBS and "Mobbed" for FOX, among others. He is currently serving his eighth season as a judge on NBC's hit summer talent competition series "America's Got Talent," now in its 12th season. Mandel received an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Host For a Reality or Reality-Competition Program" for "Deal or No Deal" and a Daytime Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Game Show Host" for the syndicated version of the show. Mandel's versatile career has encompassed virtually all aspects of the entertainment spectrum including television, film and stage which has led him to become a mainstay of the American comedy scene.

Last week, Walter Becker of the iconic rock duo Steely Dan passed away. So in honor of him, we decided out of respect to do a 30-second song break with Lilbumblebear which starts whenever I get the lunch in the microwave.....In fact I'll get it....

Back to the news.

They say it's Your birthday: Bachelor stye

Jojo Fletcher wished Jordan Rodgers a happy birthday.....but why?

The former "The Bachelorette" star, who got engaged to Rodgers on Season 12 of the ABC reality dating series in 2015, celebrated her husband-to-be's birthday by showering him with praise in an Instagram post.
"Happy Birthday to this gem of a human-- there are so many reasons why you deserve to be celebrated, not only today, but everyday!" Fletcher wrote.
She went on to list a number of things that Rodgers does that she's thankful for, before ending the post to keep it from getting too "mushy."

After 5 months.......

Nick & Vanessa of "The Bachelor" fame......are off to Splitsville.

"It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement," Nick and Vanessa told E! News in a statement.

"We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."

Although Nick and Vanessa were apparently spending a lot of time together in Los Angeles in recent months, the couple was plagued by rumors they were headed for a split.

Same old #@$@$!

Sasha Farber and Jenna Johnson return to their usual jobs: being in the DWTS dance troupe.

Sasha and Jenna will instead be members of the Dancing with the Stars Troupe next season, according to People

The show's Troupe dancers typically perform during commercial breaks and big group performances, as well as serve as alternates in case a professional partner gets injured during the season.

Sasha and Jenna will reportedly be joining Brandon Armstrong, Artur Adamski, Britt Stewart and Hayley Erbert in the Dancing with the Stars Troupe.

Sasha and Jenna, however, may be disappointed in their new positions considering they have starred on the show as pro partners before.

Jenna, a current All-Star on So You Think You Can Dance, competed as a pro partner for former Disney star Jake T. Austin on Season 23 in 2016. The pair, however, was the first couple eliminated from the season.

As for Sasha, he is a four-time professional partner who has most recently danced with Little Women: LA star Terra Jole on Season 23 -- when he placed fifth overall -- and Olympic gymnast Simone Biles on Season 24 this past Spring, when he finished in fourth place.

And now because no one asked................

You can't make this....

Up.

Alexa Bliss and Dana Brooke should be ashamed of this.
CLEVELAND -- Fans of Cash Explosion experienced a whole new edition of the Ohio lottery’s TV game show Saturday night.
And many of them aren’t happy with the overhaul…
Viewers filled Cash Explosion’s Facebook page with commentary surrounding their disappointment with how “boring” the new show is.
One fan even started a Change.org petition to bring the original Cash Explosion back.
“After watching the first episode of the new Cash Explosion, I found out that the new format was horrible,” the Change.org movement declares. “It eliminates the interaction and the excitement with the players. The set was dark and the theme music was creepy. … So, in writing this petition, I say we need to bring back the format we all know and loved very much.”
Only 15 people signed it as of noon Monday.
The previous incarnation of Cash Explosion had four contestants per round take three turns each to win money by slapping a stopper button that would land on a letter in the word “Explosion.” That player would then choose the corresponding letter in the word “Cash” they wanted to turn over. That person would win whatever prize money was revealed.

Look at this and we'll get back to the story.

Now here's what the new format is like.

Kinda dark and feels like Millionaire, but not for this show. The revamped version, however, has squeezed all eight contestants into a single round. Each player takes their turn approaching the “Spotlight” game board one at a time to pick three numbered tiles. The money behind those three tiles would then be added up. The two players with the most accrued money move on to the “Cash Challenge” finale.
While the “Cash Challenge” has a slightly different look, its concept remains the same. Next Wednesday on game Show Live!, your reactions to the new look Cash Explosion.

Since we're in Carly Smashes September, here's a new segment called......

That's all for now, but remember one thing:  Make Me A Millionaire should've added more games at all. Really. Rat Race and Hot Seat would've gotten inspired by it.

So until next time and all the time....play on playas.
