The Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.
Five years after his exit from Dancing with the Stars, original host Tom Bergeron is returning as a guest judge for the show’s 20th anniversary special on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
“It feels really good,” Bergeron said Tuesday on Good Morning America about his return. “I’m really looking forward to it.” After hosting DWTS since its launch in 2005, Bergeron exited in 2020 after being publicly critical of the show’s choice to cast then-President Donald Trump’s White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in Season 28.
He told DWTS alum Cheryl Burke on her podcast at the time that he sat down with showrunners in 2019 and discussed potential contestants for the upcoming 28th season. At that time, he and showrunners agreed that the show would be a “wonderful escape from that divisiveness” of the 2020 election cycle. “In the summer of 2019, I had two lunches—one with that showrunner person and another one with his boss,” Bergeron recalled. “I said, ‘Well look, 2019 is the threshold to an election year in America, we are a very divided country. Just nobody, of any party, don’t go there—just make us the wonderful escape from all that divisiveness for two hours a week.”
“And then a few weeks later, I get a phone call,” he continued. “And they run down the list of who is going to be on the show, and this former showrunner says to me, ‘You might want to sit down for this last one.’ And then they told me who it was, the former press guy for Trump. I said, ‘Guys, this is exactly what we said we wouldn’t do. Don’t go there. This is not the right time, play to our strengths, be the show that gives people a break from all this bulls–t.”
“And that really pissed me off,” Bergeron noted, saying it was this move that led him to releasing his 2019 statement criticizing Spicer’s casting. “So I wrote the statement that I wrote, that did not name anybody, that did not name a political party,” he said. “It merely said, ‘I was told certain things when I was asked my opinion, they agreed, and now they’ve thrown a curveball.’ I even went so far as to say it’s their right to do that. They’re the producers of the show, if that’s what they want to do they are entitled to do that. We will have to agree to disagree.”
“So at that moment, I knew this is probably my last season, because of that one betrayal.” Bergeron offered to “take the season off”. Producers responded by offering to let him out of his contract.
Co-host Erin Andrews also departed the show after that season, and Tyra Banks followed as the next hos

Just more than a month until the 9th annual Game Show Live! honors ceremony and our musical director who has been there since the very beginning, Robyn Cage has this sad.....message.
Hi friends! Many of you have been asking if I’m planning to tour with Brit Floyd next year, and as of right now, unfortunately, I’m not. Touring with BF has been an absolute blast and a dream come true, but I have several other projects I’m developing right now that are demanding my full attention. Tour is all-consuming and, while on the road, I just haven’t had the bandwidth to devote time and energy to my own creative ventures.
Also, I have to admit, I’m heartbroken by the recent departures from the band. I can’t imagine BF without Eva, Gen, Edo, Ryan, and Matt (plus a whole slew of my friends in the crew who have also left). Perhaps I’ll rejoin BF in the future, but for now, a very difficult decision has been made somewhat easier.
Regardless, I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to share the stage with such phenomenal musicians, and to share a bus with some of my favorite humans. I wish the band enormous success over the next year, and I’ll be cheering them along from the sidelines! 🙏🎶❤️ Shine on!!✨💎✨
That means she's got some writing, composing and making more music videos next year. When's her holiday livestream next month?

CBS and Sony Pictures Television have settled their differences when it comes to Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
The two companies, who have spent the last year in a battle over the syndicated distribution rights to the two daytime game shows, have reached an agreement.
In February, Sony informed CBS Media Ventures that it was taking over global distribution to the two shows, a move that the Paramount-owned company claimed was “false”.
This came after Sony filed a breach of contract suit last year. Sony had accused CBS of licensing the shows at “below market” rates, “failed to maximize advertising revenue” and “undercut” the shows through “self-preferencing.”
In April, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted a preliminary injunction to Sony Pictures Television in the case, effectively denying CBS’ bid to block the former from distributing the high-profile shows. In May, CBS gained the rights back until the case was over.
In June, Sony struck a number of multi-year streaming deals for the shows with Peacock and Hulu that allows both shows to stream the day after their linear airing. Keith LeGoy, Chairman, Sony Pictures Television, said that these streaming rights were “completely separate” to its syndicated deals.
Now, the two companies have come to an “amicable resolution” and agreed that CBS will remain the exclusive domestic distributor of the shows in syndication and continue to deliver the shows through the 2027/2028 season. After this, Sony Pictures Television will become the exclusive domestic distributor of the shows. CBS will also expand its role and exclusively lead all advertising sales through the 2029/2030 season. However, the marketing, promotions and affiliate relations for the shows will transition to Sony at the end of the 2025/2026 season and Sony will continue to manage brand integrations with international distribution rights to the shows moving to Sony from December 1, 2025.
In a joint statement, Sony Pictures Television and CBS Media Ventures added, “We have reached an amicable resolution regarding the syndicated distribution of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. We look forward to working together to continue bringing these beloved shows to audiences and stations around the world.”

Will reality and outside influences pull them apart or when the wedding day arrives, will they marry the person they fell in love with blindly?
The Italian adaptation, directed by Angelo Poli, is written by Magda Geronimo, Valentina Massouda, and Antonio Vicaretti.

The MD of Sidemen Entertainment, Victor Bengtsson, has teased a new season of the UK version reality competition Inside. The show is the brainchild of the hugely popular creator collective the Sidemen and recently switched from YouTube, with UK and U.S. versions rolling out instead on Netflix.
“My hope is that we’re releasing the next season in the UK in early to late spring next year,” Bengtsson said at the Digital Content Forum in London today. “We are in conversations, let’s say that we’re in a good place. We also want it to feel fresh and new, so there are things that we want to do to it.”
The Big Brother-esque series Inside corralls a group of influencers into a locked house for seven days as they battle it out in ludicrous challenges while a £1M ($1.34M) prize fund dissipates. Sidemen Entertainment handles the business side of the creative’s prolific outfit and Bengtsson talked about the move from creating for YouTube to producing for Netflix. We analyzed the ratings earlier this year.

Find out after we give you this.....Lyme hack.
90 seconds to talk about Tic Tac and Bingo Blitz getting out game Show network soon starting from........................
Tic Tac dough was the return of a classic franchise and Bingo Blitz brought a hit bingo app to life. Unfortunately, they suffered the 6 pm slot because everyone watched the local news and wheel or ET or something else. The virtual CGI sets makes it eye popping but in reality it's done in a small set. What didn't work was because Tic Tac messed game Show network up. No building pot, no returning champions and no iconic pick the box before the dragon round because the dragon is the enemy that loses a player's turn, erases 5 seconds in half a second and blocks the path out of people who keep them from winning $10,000. Bingo Blitz was a reimagining of the app but it has 4 choices and a clue with some special spaces but GSN is GSN. The Wall and The Chase are ready to get them out next week. The 4 central time slot would've worked out well. What should've worked also was because they should've raised the prizes on up. I guess tic tac and bingo blitz are one season wonders and if you think tic tac effed GSN up, look at the classic episodes on YouTube with the winker and see why it's classic not modern.
