Me: Hello and welcome to this Halloween edition of.............
We are live on location from the scariest place that isn't a haunted house nor a cornfield maze. It is......Stark Dental Center. I know, it's to some of you because of a drill or that syringe needle, but it's the only 2-story dental clinic packing in more patients in the winter and even more in the summer. If you've been looking for a dentist with excellent service voted 5 stars in magazines, this is it. Right across from it is the Jet2 Holiday center because everybody knows the darn jingle and ad in the UK and right next to it is Tooles-Austin Mathanasium. As we go in, we see it's the only dental clinic open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Think the dentist gets rest on the weekends? This place here isn't the one. So let's come into the waiting room, right now.
(Pierre heads into the waiting room)
There's the waiting room. They have RTE America, BBC America, ITV America, ESPN, The CW, A bluey marathon in the pediatric section, and.................ME-TV. And that's it. But no GSN or Buzzr. And we're here to talk about it starting with.........................
The Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

Over on sister show LET'S MAKE A DEAL, the Marketplace of America gets into the Halloween spirit early with a special episode on Thursday, October 30, featuring Danielle Pinnock from CBS’s hit series Ghosts. She may play a ghost on primetime, but in a game of “Expert Phone Call with Wayne Brady,” she takes on a whole new—and hopefully winning—character.
Then on Friday, October 31, LET’S MAKE A DEAL goes all out with “spooktacular” sights (and a few Zonky frights!). Traders will open coffins for cash and race through the Monster Dash for a chance to win $10,000. Host Wayne Brady even goes trick-or-treating at announcer Jonathan Mangum’s door, giving prize clues along the way. Top prizes include a bewitching trip to Salem, Massachusetts, a stay at a haunted hotel in Colorado, and some ghostly adventures in London, England!

Now we find out who's doing a victory floss dance and who's getting pulled out. And I MEAN out. It's the Yay & Yawn of October.
The Yay: 99 to Beat. With the ITV version out after 1 series, Erin Andrews and KKen Jeong picked up the slack from FOX and made it a good hit.
The yawn: The subjects on the floor. With this week off due to a World Series game, they need actual subjects, but it's the game play that makes it a Yay after all.
I'm gonna go read Highlights magazine while you watch this ad break.

While we were in commercial, we got this from a viewer.
Well, I guess the viewer is right. GSN is nothing more than a school cafeteria dishing out ideas because Tic Tac Dough is nothing more than a square pizza, and every set does feel like a modern day high school play. GSN needs to up the top prizes to $20k-$25K, or else they all go to Buzzr. But Catch 21 on Amazon Prime could knock Mr. Beast down to broke anyday. If that's the one better than the GSN version, it could be a knockout comeback. Should that happen, GSN should kick themselves in the face as to why Amazon Prime got it.

Strictly Come Dancing presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are exiting at the end of this season. In a statement posted on Daly’s Instagram, the pair said “we were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time.”
An Insta video from the duo said “there have been some rumblings” about their departure and “we want you to hear this from us.”
“We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream,” added Daly and Winkleman, who have hosted the hit BBC series for more than a decade. “We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show. They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day.”
They added: “We will cry when we say the last “keep dancing” but we will continue to say it to each other. Just possibly in tracksuit bottoms at home while holding some pizza.”
The shock news comes at a time of change for Strictly, which has had to grapple with a number of scandals over the past couple of years.
Daly and Winkleman’s final ep will be this year’s Christmas episode.
Around an hour after Daly and Winkleman’s statement, the BBC published their own statement thanking them for “passion and dedication [that] has gone above and beyond.”
“I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but it’s the end of an era with Tess and Claudia’s decision to bid farewell to the Strictly ballroom,” said BBC Chief Content Officer Kate Phillips. “They’ve both been such incredible hosts at the very heart of the show.”
Daly and Winkleman have been hosting Strictly since Bruce Forsyth stepped down in 2013, at which point Winkleman, who had already been helming the results show, took over.

The Great American Baking Show is back! Hosts Casey Wilson and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will welcome four celebrity bakers to the tent for the new Celebrity Holiday special, coming to The Roku Channel on November 3.
In the special, two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis, SNL alum Cheri Oteri, actor and producer Oliver Hudson, and Emmy-nominated actress Janelle James swap the spotlight for spatulas, tackling three holiday-themed challenges. As they whisk, bake, and decorate their way through the competition, they’ll aim to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith—but only one can earn the coveted Star Baker crown.
Rannells previously appeared as a guest baker in The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Summer with fellow Broadway alum Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The Book of Mormon star went on to serve as a host during the Halloween episode alongside actress Casey Wilson, both of whom are back for the new holiday special.

Beeb daytime favourite Bridge of Lies is heading Down Under, after Australia’s Seven Network snapped up the rights to air the quiz show.
Produced by Glasgow-based STV Studios, the series has already begun airing as part of Seven’s weekday quiz strand Winning Arvo, with episodes also streaming on 7plus — Australia’s fastest-growing commercial platform.
The deal, brokered by BBC Studios, includes all four UK series of Bridge of Lies and all three celebrity editions, giving Australian audiences plenty of chances to see contestants navigate the show’s signature challenge: crossing a bridge of “truths and lies” in pursuit of cash prizes — or risk tumbling into elimination.
Hosted by actor and documentary maker Ross Kemp, the format has been a consistent success for the BBC since launching in 2022, earning a loyal audience for its mix of high tension and camp, studio-floor theatrics.
The Australian acquisition adds to the show’s expanding international footprint, with versions already airing on RTÉ in Ireland, BBC Nordic, BBC Africa, and local adaptations such as Beat the Bridge in the US and El Puente de las Mentiras in Spain.

Get ready to see familiar faces return to your screens in 2026. Jeopardy! bosses Sarah Whitcomb-Foss and Michael Davies have explained the post-season Schedule and what is changing within the shows. They sat down for an episode of their podcast, Inside Jeopardy!, which was posted on the game show‘s Substack.
Ken Jennings is expected to return to host all of the postseason shows. He hosts the syndicated and celebrity versions as well.
- The Second Chance Tournament will last three weeks: 27 players in total, nine players per week, 15 days total for television time
- Traditional format for Champions Wildcard: 15 players, 10 games, two weeks, consisting of three-day champions who don’t make the Tournament of Champions. For two-game and one-game winners, the bosses looked at all of the criteria, like attempts, responses, competitions, scores going into finals, and Coryat score, instead of just the amount they earned. This is an invitational tournament of producers’ choice

Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2 and 3 champions Lisa Ann Walter and W. Kamau Bell are both expected to play. The rest of the competitors will be revealed later Exhibition game returning Postseason field to be revealed on November 10 on the next Inside Jeopardy! episode.

For the first time since 2022, Cheryl Burke on Oct. 28 will return to Dancing with the Stars ballroom — not to perform but to guest judge alongside Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Burke, who competed for 26 seasons under the mirror ball, returns with a special set of skills. Besides being the first female pro to win the Mirror Ball Trophy and the first pro in the history of the franchise to become a back-to-back champion, Burke is also properly schooled when it comes to ballroom judging (more on that later).
But giving the dancers feedback is not what stresses Burke out about her much-anticipated return; it’s keeping her critiques to 15 seconds or less without impacting the flow of the show. Regardless, she’s eager to join the judges’ dais for Halloween Night and the “Dance Monster-thon.”
