There is nothing wrong with this picture. It's because............

Shares of Warner Bros. Discovery shot up as much as 33% Thursday on a report by the Wall Street Journal that Paramount Skydance is prepping a takeover bid of WBD in its entirety.

According to the Journal report, Paramount Skydance’s bid will be for Warner Bros. Discovery as it exists currently — despite WBD’s plans to split into two separate companies next year (Warner Bros., comprising studios and streaming, and Discovery Global, including TV networks and Discovery+). The article said the Paramount Skydance bid would be “majority cash” but did not specify a price.

Paramount Skydance’s offer for WBD, which cited anonymous sources, is “backed by the Ellison family,” according to the Journal. That’s a reference to Larry Ellison, the Oracle founder who is one of the world’s wealthiest individuals with a current net worth of $370 billion. He is the father of David Ellison, the chairman and CEO of the new Paramount Skydance. The Ellison family put up about $6 billion of the money for Skydance Media’s deal to buy Paramount Global, with around $2 billion contributed by private-equity firm RedBird Capital Partners.

Lunchables. The dollar store and the supermarkets have knockoff ones called Cracker Crunchers or Lunchmakers from Armour, but Lunchables is the real thing. Think these 2 can outsell it? Maybe. Get Lunchables where you can find it. Now the only guy responsible for liking the new cracker barrel logo, Pierre Kelly!

Me: Modernism triumphs over the world today and the mcdonalds, Wendy's, Taco bells and Burger King form way back then needs it's old look back. But anyways, you are back on the show and let me tell you this. Stop the song.

(song stops)

Last week, Tracker57 informed that Blockbusters did start in 1983. To put it this way, the show actually started in 1980 after The David Letterman Show got cancelled. And if you want a better theme tune here in the US, i've enlistened with some help of Hornz Unlimited, they are............

Dancing with the Stars is launching another podcast, this time hosted by Season 33 champ Joey Graziadei.

The podcast will launch Sept. 18 and feature cast interviews, guests, “behind-the-scenes insights” and “expert breakdowns” of the performances. It’ll stream on Thursdays on Disney+ and Hulu, throughout the DWTS season, and will also be available wherever you get your podcasts.

The podcast is produced by BBC Studios. Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Tuesday, Sept. 16 on ABC and Disney+.

“I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be joining the Dancing with the Stars team in this new way, bringing audiences exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content,” Graziadei said in a statement. “I have so many great memories from my time competing (and winning didn’t hurt), so I can’t think of a better way to connect with contestants and bring deeper conversations and fun moments to the podcast space.”

The last official DWTS podcast was hosted by Kym Herjavec in 2019. There have also been multiple podcasts that focus on the show, including one from Cheryl Burke called Sex, Lies and Spray Tans that wrapped in 2024.

BBC Studios today announced three new international licences for Montreux Film and Fjernsyn’s hit comedy gameshow format Nation’s Dumbest. France’s TF1, Germany’s ProSieben and Joyn and Finland’s MTV3 are the latest to adapt the format, joining Sweden’s TV4.

Already a ratings hit in Norway with a second series now airing on TV2 and TV2 Play, the format won the Best New Format award at the Norwegian TV Festival and the Innovation of the year award at the Gullruten Award 2025.

On its debut in Sweden on TV4 last month, the format was the #1 show of the day and achieved over 1.1 million viewers for the premiere. In Germany, the six-part series for ProSieben and Joyn, locally named Deutschlands Dümmster Promi and hosted by Amira Aly and Christian Düren, airs from this month with eight local celebrities competing.

BBC Studios France Productions are on board to produce the series this autumn for TF1 while in Finland, Fremantle Media Finland will produce an eight-part series for MTV3, named locally as Suomen Älyttömin Julkkis, starting production this winter.

Nation’s Dumbest is the first ever television show where the loser is the winner. Celebrities fight it out to be eliminated from the competition as quickly as possible to avoid being crowned the nation’s dumbest. From influencers to wrestlers, comedians to politicians, the contestants are put to the test in a series of entertaining physical and mental rounds in this successful, relatable, and family-friendly show about all the things you really should know.

Matt Forde, President, BBC Studios Global Productions, said “Nation’s Dumbest has been an instant hit since we launched the format at MIPCOM last year. With adaptations now confirmed across four European territories and more to come, this bold and entertaining concept with its humour, relatability and originality, is a perfect example of how our content travels”.

Due to the “Year of Fun,” Social Media Correspondent Maggie Sajak announced the new “Year of Funds” Giveaway for viewers. Every time someone on stage said the word “fun,” $1,000 got added to the prize pot. A ding went off every time someone said the word to keep track of it. The “Year of Funds” Giveaway will be an ongoing thing throughout the season.

Jimmy Alexander, from Fredericksburg, Texas, played against Rebecca Merkel, from Hoover, Alabama, and Genvieve Martin, from Coffeeville, Mississippi, on Wednesday, September 10..

Having Fun yet? Well try this Mistplay Game Break and see if you can remember this noughties thing.

  • IT was brought to the market in 2001
  • Dean Kamen is the inventor
  • an episode of South Park made fun of it
  • It was unveiled on ABC's Good Morning America
  • It can go up to 10 mph.
Name the thing. As we go to the Spotify Soundstage, it's a first time welcome to the blog from Anna Demis who moved out of Dubai to NYC to pursue life as an event pianist. Watch and I'll explain more of her later.

Just so you know, she not only played for Oprah and Bill Gates but..................

How nice is that? If she vacations in Memphis, she'll play for Mayor Paul Yound and Shelby country mayor Lee Harris. Heck, she'll feel welcome in Bartlett TN and the whole city of Bartlett social media would have a worldwide field day playing for Mayor Parsons, but that's another story.

The answer to the thing is.........................

Only 140,000 units were sold during the lifetime of the product, and in the later years the Segway PT only made up 1.5% of total company profit.[1] Factors contributing to the end of production include the price (US$5,000 at launch), and the learning curve in learning to balance on a Segway PT which has led to notable accidents involving Usain BoltGeorge W. BushEllen DeGeneresIan Healy, and Segway Inc. previous owner Jimi Heselden.[2] While the Segway has remained popular for security and tourism, electric scooters have been more popular for personal mobility.[1][2]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've got something from Elie Muller and this is involving his show. Look.

First off, a few interviews would be nice. Earlier, the 757 Hustle show was shown so it would be a good get, maybe Kier's Nostalgia Corner would be a good guest to book. Or perhaps Hayley Harmon of the Lee & Hayley show to talk about being a first time mom. Next is New segments where you can remember things people had from their childhood, weird quirky stories or commentary on the big issues surrounding the world. New Sketches, if you can find your friends and write them something or a newer sketch involving the Weeknight Update newsroom. What about Other? No darn idea. For that, let's show an episode.

And that was Weeknight Update already picked up and won't let itself go by RTE America after we leave this here program and our show will not be cancelled after The First 25 with Chris Moyles and a BBC News Summary unless we get replaced with reruns of Storage Wars which is sad but when CHris Moyles leaves Radio X for good and gets his butt sent to Greatest Hits Radio, it will take that slot. Take that, Deadliest Catch.
