THE AMAZING RACE host Phil Keoghan invites some of BIG BROTHER's fiercest former competitors to exit the house and race in the real world when 13 fan-favorite houseguests embark on a European adventure with their travel companion, on the 38th season of the CBS Original series THE AMAZING RACE, Thursday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:30 PM, ET/PT). The Emmy(R) Award winner moves to its regular Wednesday time period on Wednesday, Oct. 1 (9:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
The Houseguests-turned-Racers kick off the season in Amsterdam where they face classic game pieces and unexpected twists right off the bat. For the first time in THE AMAZING RACE history, teams face their first challenge before even lining up on the starting line -the first team to complete the task receives an express pass and the last team to complete the task faces the consequences of a Hazard. The Traitors USA is about to have civilians soon. Oh joy. That's all to come so don't get exhausted just yet like I did this past Saturday night and ended up in the hospital. I might as well limit the sodas to more tea and water. This close to being in the bed for a kidney stone removal. In the meantime, here's an ad break for you......

"The Traitors" is coming to NBC with an all-new civilian version of Peacock's Emmy Award-winning competition reality series known for strategic gameplay and skillful saboteurs.
Instead of the guest list of celebrities and socialites, this time Emmy-winning host Alan Cumming is opening the doors to his now infamous castle in the Scottish Highlands to everyday people. There he will ask them, "Are you a Faithful? Or are you a Traitor?"
Those interested can apply now at www.TheTraitorsUS.com.
"We're excited to bring along 'The Traitors' highly addictive fan base as we discover the next generation of legendary gamers and schemers," said Sharon Vuong, Executive Vice President, Unscripted Programming, NBCUniversal Entertainment. "With our resident host and gameplay master of ceremonies, Alan Cumming, on board to introduce complete strangers to new epic missions and twisted gameplay, this new version for NBC offers a unique opportunity for the cast and audience to meet each other for the first time and we know it will be incredible to watch."
"'The Traitors' format has proven itself as one of the most gripping and talked-about reality competition shows in the world," said Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, the producers of both the Peacock and NBC versions. "We're thrilled to be working with NBC to open up the experience to a new group of civilian players, whose stories and strategies will make the gameplay even more unpredictable - and, we hope, even more addictive for viewers."
The announcement was made by Cumming at the inaugural Televerse 2025 conference at J.W. Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Production on the NBC version of "The Traitors" will begin in 2026.

TelevisaUnivision announced today the premiere of the new game show, “Piensa Rápido,” hosted by Adrián Uribe‘s beloved character, “El Vítor.” The show will debut on UNIMÁS on Monday, August 18, at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.
Renowned actor and comedian, Adrián Uribe, returns as the iconic public transit driver, “El Vítor,” to host this entertaining game show. On “Piensa Rápido,” two teams of friends and family compete to see who can guess the most popular answers to general knowledge and pop culture questions the fastest. The key to winning is using quick thinking and wit to figure out what everyone else is thinking before time runs out. In the question rounds, “El Vítor” will give an incomplete phrase, and teams will take turns trying to find the most popular words that complete it. They will have 60 seconds to do so and will get the first letter of each word on the screen as a clue.
Each episode consists of three question rounds, following a consistent format to ensure a smooth and exciting flow. At the end of these rounds, the team with the lowest score will be eliminated.
The winning team will advance to the final round, where they will have a limited amount of time to correctly identify the main words that complete four phrases. For each correctly completed phrase, they will earn cash prizes and have the chance to win up to $6,000.
“Piensa Rápido” can also be streamed on ViX, starting on August 19.

A global quiz phenomenon is coming to ITV on Saturday nights — and chances are, if you’ve been abroad lately, you have already heard of it.
Like The Traitors or Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, The Floor is a blockbuster format that’s conquered TV markets around the world, including the US, where it’s fronted by movie star Rob Lowe.
Now it’s heading for its 25th territory, the UK. The show will land here next year, though ITV bosses are yet to reveal which famous face will be taking the helm in our version.
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s director of entertainment, said: “The Floor, with its compelling gameplay, is an excellent addition to our roster of existing popular quiz shows across ITV and ITVX.”
Originally a Dutch show, it features 81 quiz fanatics facing off in duels on a giant LED floor divided into 81 squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
The goal is to conquer the entire floor and take home a huge cash prize, with each duel upping the stakes and the tension.
The Floor has already been a big hit in countries including Australia, Poland and Spain and recently launched in Estonia and Latvia. Over in the US, it has already run for three seasons, and hiring such a big Hollywood name to front it was an instant sign of TV bosses’ confidence in the format. Now broadcaster Fox has ordered two more seasons, continuing the format through next year and 2027 in America.

It's official.
The Hulu app as you know it will soon be no more.
During the company’s quarterly earnings call on Wednesday, Disney announced plans to begin “fully integrating” Hulu into Disney+, with a “unified” Disney+ and Hulu app available to download sometime in 2026.
Despite the merging of apps, consumers will still be able to purchase a stand-alone subscription to either Disney+ or Hulu; both will be available through the same app, albeit with content restrictions depending on your subscription.
“Today we are announcing a major step forward in strengthening our streaming offering by fully integrating Hulu into Disney+,” CEO Bob Iger and CFO Hugh Johnston said in a statement. “This will create an impressive package of entertainment, pairing the highest-caliber brands and franchises, great general entertainment, family programming, news and industry-leading live sports content in a single app.”
Their statement continued: “By creating a truly differentiated streaming offering, we will be providing subscribers tremendous choice, convenience, quality, and enhanced personalization. This will enhance our ability to continue to grow profitability and margins in our entertainment streaming business through expected higher engagement, lower churn, and advertising revenue potential, as well as operational efficiencies that over time may result in savings that we can reinvest back into the business.”
Internationally, Hulu will also replace the Star tile on the Disney+ app beginning this fall. Additional information is expected to roll out in the coming months.

And now, comedienne Holly Perkins goes into the mind of what goes down in the world of movies, music and more. It's......Last week in Holly's Pop Culture Brain. Text edition.
I saw Norma Rae this week for the first time and wow wow wow it’s as good as everyone has said it is for the past 46 years since it came out. It was such a powerful, relevant story. I was riveted and inspired and all the socially conscious good feminist things that movie is supposed to make you feel. Unfortunately, I was also a bad feminist in that I was distracted by how much I loved her clothes, how gorgeous her hair looked in every single shot, and how overwhelmingly attracted I was to the character Rueben. I did not expect this movie to have some of the hottest sexual tension I’d ever seen, but here we are.
While I went to the screening because there was a Q&A with legend and icon Sally Field, there’s also just something so magical about seeing an older movie in the theater with a crowd. Everyone cheering at iconic lines, all of us crying and clapping when she stood on that table, not looking at my phone distractedly googling to find out what I recognize Beau Bridges from. Last weekend I saw It Takes Two at the Academy Museum and Point Break at Cinespia and it’s just so fun to see a beloved movie with a crowd. I know it feels crazy when we’re spending $4459385 on streaming services to buy a ticket to see a movie you could throw on from Hulu, but I highly suggest seeing older movies in the theater when you get a chance. Sally Field did a Q&A afterwards and I sobbed when she came out in a way that I’d previously assumed was only reserved for Cher, Dolly Parton, and Julia Roberts. It was so surreal hearing her speak (and cuss!!) in person.

Chill out everyone, It's............................
90 seconds to talk about why remakes don't work sometimes starting from........................
As a testament to what Thornton terry DM'd me on Instagram, remakes work well in a different light like Press Your Luck's first half and Family Feud going all the way back to 1988. But what doesn't work sometimes is this. The 2nd half of Press Your Luck is just Deal or No Deal mixed with a 1-player Trivia Murder Party. The Big Bucks Bonanza is the hardest thing Fremantle has ever done. Can't they just get rid of it and make it 2 half hours of the first half of the show? Another thing I saw is the new Tic Tac Dough. What's new is nothing new. No pot, no get to $1000 without picking the dragon, no returning champions, no red boxes, none of the pizazz we used to watch back then. It's just a virtual eye-popping set shot in a very small room instead if some rehash of the Martindale or Caldwell set. Plus the dragon is the enemy for the entire show. Barry & Enright definitely rolled over in their graves for this one. The only good thing: Brooke Burns. That's all. Another is Split Second. It's pretty much okay but it's the same GSN modus operandi. Every original is the same. A grand for winning and $10,000 for the bonus. Plus the ones look more like some pilot for a new syndicated game show. Another example: name That Tune on Fox. You can look at the Kennedy and Lange ones and see why they're classic, but the FOX version doesn't have Melody Roulette. And don't be surprised if Grant Kirkhope takes over once Randy Jackson calls it quits any time soon. Only real remake that's perfect: The Price is Right. They make Let's Make a Deal look like it's cousin. The point of the rant is this, if Quicksilver gets a reboot on Peacock or if the BBC wants to remake Four Square, try and point out what went wrong and then blame it on the creators or the producers to point something that doesn't work and why.
