"BIG BROTHER: A Summer of Mystery" House Highlights:
· Mystery Hotel Theme: The BIG BROTHER house is transformed into a suspense-filled hotel, complete with secrets, hidden passageways and a mysterious vibe that sets the stage for a summer of intrigue.
· Reception Area: Houseguests are welcomed by a wall of 75 key boxes, some filled with skeleton keys and other clues that might reveal themselves later in the game ...
· Living Room Chess Guardians: Towering 22-foot walls and a balcony lined with giant plaster chess pieces (bishop, queen, king, knight) watch over the house, adding a regal and strategic flair.
· Attic Bedroom of Oddities: Beds made from wooden crates, rubber masks on the walls and haunted artifacts like a black knight's helmet and diving suit make this room a spooky treasure trove.
· Sleeper Car Bunk Room: Behind a secret entrance, this train-themed bedroom straight out of a murder mystery novel contains bunkbeds for six Houseguests (the first time the BB house has had bunk beds since season one!) and a sleek Art Deco design.
· Rooftop Garden Kitchen: The kitchen and dining area mimic a rooftop garden with ivy-covered walls, sunset skies and a 10-foot round garden party table under string lights.
· Secretive "Wine Cellar": A moody, bottle-lined cellar (with no actual wine, sorry Houseguests) is a perfect spot for whispering secrets and plotting moves.
· Victorian Conservatory Lounge: A lush, plant-filled room with a 13-foot green velvet lounge and a plum tree, ideal for quiet strategy sessions.
· Venom Lounge and Poison Bar: Upstairs, snakes slither across the wallpaper in a moody lounge featuring a "Poison Bar," (don't worry, there is no actual poison) a velvet daybed and ravens stealing party lights.
· Boxing Ring Gym: The gym includes a full boxing ring, heavy bag and workout gear - great for blowing off steam and staying in top sleuthing shape.

Beach Blanket Bing-No.
HGTV has canceled beach property rehab show “Battle On The Beach” after four seasons, co-host Alison Victoria revealed on her podcast this week.
“I did a show called ‘Battle on the Beach.’ I love that show. It was so fun and funny. And then all of a sudden, I watched the episode, I’m like, well, where’d all that [great content] go? I get it, it’s a lot of content to try to put into 42 minutes, but where is it? Where’s the great editing?” Victoria said on Pap Smear podcast.
She added: “You’ll lose a show that way. I truly believe that and in fact, ‘Battle on the Beach’ did not get picked back up, which is sad, because it was like adult spring break.”
Per the show’s official logline, “Three skilled teams hit the beach to renovate identical beachfront properties. With some help from Taniya Nayak (“Build It Forward”), Ty Pennington (“Rock the Block”) and Alison Victoria (“Windy City Rehab”), they’ll compete to wow the judges with their home remodels and walk away with a cash prize.”
HGTV didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

There's a new game show in play this fall. Scrambled Up will premiere September 8 in national syndication, hosted by comic and actor Michael Yo.
In Scrambled Up, four contestants solve jumbled-up words and phrases that unscramble before their eyes. As the tiles unscramble, the clues get easier. The first player to buzz in with the right answer has a shot at walking away with the $10,000 grand prize.
Airing Monday-Friday, the show from Playing Field Entertainment, Keller/Noll and Crazy Legs Productions has been cleared in 80% of the country including the top markets of New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Production on the 160-episode order is set to start this month in Atlanta.
"Our goal is that Scrambled Up will become America's new favorite word game," said Cleve Keller, Co-President of Keller/Noll. "It has every single thing a classic game show needs. It's filled with play-along, laughs, edge-of-your-seat drama and moments of pure joy."

From MomTok to the ballroom, not one but two "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" cast members will join the ranks of "Dancing With the Stars" Season 34.
Nick Viall revealed the news in the Hulu series' first reunion special, which aired Monday night on Hulu, announcing which cast members would have the chance to shine on their own in sparkly costumes and heels.
"So I heard most of you auditioned recently while filming Season 3," the former reality star turned podcaster said to the cast at the reunion. "I gotta know who wants it the most."
Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt quickly raised their hands. Before officially revealing who made it on the established competition show, he asked the cast who they thought deserved it the most. Affleck raised her hand, and Taylor Frankie Paul agreed. "I think Jen just because it's been her life dream since she was little," the reality star said of the soon-to-be the mom of three, who was in her third trimester while shooting the reunion special.
Viall had a surprise up his sleeve because both Affleck and Leavitt were asked to join the upcoming ballroom dancing series. The two women exclaimed and hugged each other and their spouses.
Affleck and Leavitt will join previously announced contestants Australian conservationist and TV personality Robert Irwin and influencer Alix Earle for Season 34.
The four early cast announcements all have a presence online, indicating a new trend for the series.
"Dancing With the Stars" has seen increasing interest in the show on social media and ranked No. 1 this past fall among young Adults 18-49 in live and same day viewing. So far no professional dancers partners have been confirmed for the series.
Additionally, a premiere date for Season 34 has yet to be revealed, but traditionally new seasons debut in September.
"Dancing With the Stars" is produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions. The series will air on ABC and Disney+ and stream next day on Hulu

One day you're in, the next day you're out … but then one day you could be back in again. That's the case for Heidi Klum, who returns to host "Project Runway" as seen in the Season 21 trailer out Tuesday after exiting the fashion design competition at the end of Season 16 in 2017.
"We're in a new home, with new rules," the supermodel teases in the trailer, which also showcases a revamped workroom.
Joining her will be Season 4 winner Christian Siriano as mentor — since Klum's former "Making the Cut" co-host Tim Gunn will not be returning — as well as series mainstay Nina García and new judge Law Roach.
"Project Runway" will make its highly anticipated debut on Thursday, July 31, with a two-episode premiere starting at 9:00 p.m. EDT on Freeform and available to stream shortly after on Hulu and Disney+. Subsequent episodes will air weekly starting at 10:00 p.m. EDT.
When "Project Runway" debuted in 2004, the series broke new ground and helped revolutionize the reality competition genre. Since then, the Emmy(R)-winning series has aired in more than 125 countries.
The long-standing series has had a profound effect on the fashion industry, launching the careers of prolific designers, including Christian Siriano, Austin Scarlett, Leanne Marshall, Irina Shabayeva, Michael Costello and Bishme Cromartie, among many others.
"Project Runway" is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries. Gary Barber and Sean Hoagland serve as executive producers for Spyglass. Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker and San Heng serve as executive producers for Alfred Street Industries. Klum, Siriano and Garcia also serve as executive producers.

ABC has made a call on the highest-profile series on its 2024-25 schedule yet to learn its fate, renewing reality stalwart The Bachelor for a milestone 30th season with a new showrunner.
Once again, the network and The Bachelor producer Warner Horizon Unscripted Television reached out to the dating franchise's bench to fill the top job at the mothership series, naming Scott Teti, currently executive producer and showrunner of the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, as The Bachelor executive producer and showrunner for Season 30. He succeeds Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner, who exited in March following "toxic" workplace allegations.
ABC is yet to unveil the bulk of its midseason 2026 scheduling plans, but The Bachelor is believed to be targeting its usual midseason window. That would work for Teti's schedule as he would segue from Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise, which premieres July 7, to The Bachelor 30.
This marks a fast rise for Teti, who only joined the franchise in January when he was named showrunner of Bachelor in Paradise. It is unclear whether he would continue to run both going forward. ABC made most of its renewal decisions for the 2025-26 broadcast season ahead of its May 13 upfront presentation.
The Bachelor's pickup was delayed by the search for a new showrunner after franchise veterans Freeland and Graebner stepped down in March. Their departure as executive producers and showrunners came a month after Deadline revealed allegations of a "hostile" environment behind the scenes of the franchise and followed the exit of two co-executive producers a few days prior.
Prior to joining Bachelor in Paradise, Teti executive produced ABC's Claim to Fame and Bravo's Summer House in addition to various Married at First Sight spinoffs.
The Bachelor is produced by Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, a Warner Bros. Television Group company. Bachelor In Paradise is the franchise's only representative this summer.

Australian Survivor is switching things up in the hosting department.
Jonathan LaPaglia, who has hosted the reality competition series for nearly a decade since joining in season 3 in 2016, reacted to the news of his axing in a heartfelt Instagram post shared Sunday, June 29, calling it the "craziest" blindside.
"Australian Survivor has seen some of the most epic blindsides over the last 10 years, but this one might just be the craziest of them all…because it happened to me," he began.
LaPaglia explained that he received a call from Network 10, the network which airs Australian Survivor, during which he was thanked "for all my hard work and dedication to the show," only for them to then tell him they were "going in a different direction" next season.
"Ratings had dipped a bit recently and they wanted to do something drastic to shake things up," he said. LaPaglia, 55, made light of the situation by making jokes using terminology fans of the show would recognize. For instance, he said that instead of the show doing a tribe swap they were doing a "host swap" and that, without a hidden immunity idol, he was being voted out and sent home.
He also got genuinely sentimental about the news. "I have loved and will dearly miss the immensely talented crew, all the crafty players and our loyal sassy audience. I'm a huge fan of this incredible game, always have been, always will be," he wrote. "It has been one of the greatest adventures of my career to helm Australian Survivor, so it is without a doubt the hardest challenge of all to snuff my own torch but here goes; 'JLP…the tribe has spoken.'"
"Whoever said a blindside is the most humane way to put someone down is an idiot," he added. "It hurts like a bitch!"
The official Instagram accounts for Network 10 and Australian Survivor confirmed LaPaglia's exit. "JLP has brought a unique blend of authority, intelligence and empathy to his role as host of Australian Survivor over the last 10 years," the joint post read. "Acting as referee and managing the intense pressure of the game while also acknowledging the human drama unfolding, JLP has been a compelling and memorable figure in the world of Survivor."
"We extend our sincere gratitude to JLP for his outstanding contribution over 10 years on Survivor," it continued. "We wish him continued success in his acting and presenting career."
While LaPaglia is out as host of Australian Survivor, fans will get to see him one last time as he hosts the upcoming season Australia V The World. The 13th season of the Australian Survivor franchise includes players from Down Under — including David Genat, who won Australia's all-star season as well as recently took home $5 million on Deal or No Deal Island — as well as versions of Survivor from around the globe.
Competing from the U.S. version of Survivor are Cirie Fields, Parvati Shallow and Tony Vlachos.
In his post, LaPaglia called this season "probably our best season EVER!"
