It's gonna be so much fun........and here he is now, strapped into a ejector seat being lifted off into the lounge in a deep space tunnel.

More than that, there's one ABC-approved rebooted game show is getting the EYC treatment.

But Jeopardy, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and  Password all want to be the best game show ever too. So is Price. We'll have to wait and see when the Emmy Awards airs. Also, Buzzerblog is getting involved in this......

Now to the headlines.

Sony and CBS spun the wheel one more time this month over who controls Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, and the still Shari Redstone-owned company hit the game show jackpot.

Solidifying what a three-judge panel from the Second Appellate District temporarily put in place last month, that same panel has now ruled that CBS will remain the sole distributor of the lucrative Jeopardy! and now Ryan Seacrest hosted Wheel.

"Pending disposition of this appeal, the trial court's order of April 10, 2025 finding that 'Sony can begin distributing the Shows and need not deliver episodes to CBS' is hereby stayed, including all matters embraced therein or affected thereby by the trial court's order," ordered Appeal Court Judges Gonzalo Martinez, John Segal and Natalie Stone on Wednesday in a short ruling after reviewing arguments from both sides.

The decision puts the shows in CBS' hands for the entire duration of the court battle between the network and Sony.

CBS had "no comment" on yesterday's ruling. Sony did not reply to request from Deadline for comment on the order.

The once partnered companies have been in a breach-of-contract dispute since October 31 over CBS' more than 40-year-old distribution contract and claims by Sony Pictures TV of CBS licensing the blockbuster shows at below-market rates and engaging in "self-dealing."

They just can't wait to be king......of drag that is.

TV's royal court of drag entertainers ruled by RuPaul's Drag Race and The Boulet Brothers' Dragula is about to get a king-sized shot of adrenaline, as Entertainment Weekly reports the King of Drag cast of contestants set to headline television's first all-drag-king competition series.

Beginning this summer on LGBTQ network Revry, 10 drag kings will join King of Drag host, Somebody Somewhere actor, and iconic drag king Murray Hill across a six-episode competition highlighting some of the world's best drag king performers.

In addition to the 10 drag king contestants joining the series, Hill will welcome a wealth of both permanent and guest judges.

The full-time judging panel includes Drag Race season 9 winner Sasha Velour, Drag Race season 13 and All Stars 9 competitor Gottmik, drag kings Tenderoni and Wang Newton, and Revry CEO Damian Pelliccione. Guest judges include Drag Race All Stars 6 winner Kylie Sonique Love, Drag Race season 4 star Carmen Carrera, actress Lisa Rinna, Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, Tony nominee Cole Escola, Layshia Clarendon, Dragula winner Landon Cider, Vico Ortiz, Liv Hewson, Mo B. Dick, Brian Michael Smith, Jackie Beat, Aubrey Shea, Kathleen Hanna, Cameron Esposito, and Hill's fellow Somebody Somewhere stars Bridget Everett and Jeff Hiller.

"They're young and excited," Hill said of the series at April's Queerties event. "I said this in the last scene of the TV show: I never imagined that we'd get here and that we'd get greenlit. There's hope in the darkness."

"All 10 contestants will represent drag while promoting inclusion, authentic self-expression, and diverse gender identities as part of their acts," said Pelliccione in a statement. "We can't wait to give the drag competition format a run for its money with something fresh and original."

King of Drag premieres June 22 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Revry. The contestants....

- Alexander the Great: "Here to conquer the binary and your hearts is this gravity-defying, aerial acrobatic king from Austin, Texas!" - Big D: "He's an avalanche of questionable makeup choices in the body of a middle-aged mom who fancies himself a jello artiste." - Buck Wylde: "Buck is a smooth Latin drag king with switchblade sharp teeth dedicated to bringing drag to a wider audience, one can of pomade at a time."
- Charles Galin: "He's a creature of contorted facial expressions who brings weird, creepiness, and warmth to the stage."
- Dick Von Dyke: "A band kid who discovered drag to win the star roles he was never allowed to play, he's ready for his close-up… or a dick pic, if you will."
- Henlo Bullfrog: "Known for his unhinged stagecraft, Henlo's expert at airbrush, SFX, and character lore, and his work has appeared on Skin Wars and RuPaul's Drag Race."
- King Molasses: "For them, drag is a practice of mindfulness, a return to spirit, and a testament to the audacity to create images of self-liberation."
- King Perka $exxx: "Come for the comedy and stay for the social commentary and dad jokes. King is also famous for his 'Tag Them' joke meme."
- Pressure K: "Pressure K doesn't follow trends, he sets the tempo. If confidence was currency, Pressure K always stays paid."
- Tuna Melt: "Live from New York, this stanky and delicious melt with a belt is for all of the altos who've known deep down they were tenors."

Having a Euro summer isn't for everyone between the cost and getting the time off of work. Thankfully, there's a new reality competition series to satisfy that travel bug without having to leave the comfort of your own couch!

NBC's Destination X, hosted by The Walking Dead and Supernatural star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, combines a trip across Europe with a guessing game, and features some reality show alums from The Challenge, The Traitors, and Love Island playing against normal civilians.

Competitors travel through different countries living in a blacked-out bus, and their goal is to figure out where they've been dropped off at each destination by using tourist attractions, hidden clues disguised as artifacts, and challenges. At the end of each episode, they'll enter the Map Room to make their guess on where they think they are, and the furthest from the location is sent home. Ultimately, the last player standing meets the host and wins $250,000.

According to the release, contestants will need to rely on "their knowledge of pop culture, history, geography, and observational skills to win clues to their current location and earn an all-important advantage." Plus, players will need to learn to "ignore intentional misdirects" from their opponents to figure out where they are.

Another twist includes The Traitors/The Bachelor alum Peter "Pilot Pete" Weber and Love Island alum JaNa Craig hopping on the adventure bus to "change the trajectory of the game" somehow. And The Challenge and Big Brother alum Josh Martinez is also among the cast, starting off the season as the only reality TV veteran before Weber and Craig join the show. '

"I was expecting for there to be more TV vets, and I was very shocked when I took off my goggles and I was like, 'I don't recognize anyone!'" Martinez previously told Entertainment Weekly. "Once I saw the bus pull up and Jeffrey said that's where we were going to be living, I was instantly excited. And then once we hit the road for about six to eight hours, it had set in that this was going to be my reality for the next few weeks or months, and I went absolutely crazy... The living conditions on the bus was extremely hard for me."

And Sticking with the traitors......

Prime Video India has set a premiere date for "The Traitors," the Karan Johar-hosted reality series that marks the streamer's biggest unscripted original to date.

The Indian adaptation of IDTV's internationally acclaimed format will feature 20 celebrities competing in what the platform describes as "the ultimate test of trust and betrayal."

The series, produced by BBC Studios India Productions in collaboration with All3Media International, represents Prime Video India's expansion into high-profile reality programming. New episodes will drop every Thursday on the platform.

"Prime Video has consistently been home to some of the biggest and most beloved scripted shows in the country. Now, we're making a bold leap as we scale our unscripted content slate with our biggest reality series yet – 'The Traitors,'" said Nikhil Madhok, head of originals, Prime Video India. "Packed with drama, manipulation, suspenseful gameplay, and unexpected twists, the show is mounted on a grand scale with high production values."

Madhok praised the choice of Indian media personality Johar as host, noting his ability to "stoke the fire in this volatile mix of 20 celebrities, each vying for a massive cash prize and the title of ultimate winner."

"The Traitors" has become one of the fastest-growing reality formats worldwide, with over 35 adaptations across more than 30 countries. The BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning format challenges contestants to identify traitors among their group while competing for a significant cash prize.

Sabrina Duguet, executive VP APAC at All3Media International, highlighted India's receptiveness to reality programming.

"India is one of the most dynamic and exciting markets in the world, with an audience base that's highly receptive to reality shows," Duguet said. "The Indian adaptation of 'The Traitors' offers this audience high calibre celebrities and intense drama, all wrapped up in a thriller-esque gameplay." BBC Studios India Productions executive producer Neha Khurana emphasized the psychological elements that have made the format successful globally.

"'The Traitors' has captivated audiences worldwide across ages and languages with its bold, dramatic, and psychological gameplay," Khurana said. "With an all-celebrity cast and jaw-dropping twists, 'The Traitors' is an unmissable treat for fans of high-stakes reality entertainment."

The announcement signals Prime Video India's continued investment in local content production, following successful original series including "Paatal Lok," "Mirzapur" and "The Family Man."

The Indian adaptation of "The Traitors" streams from June 12.

And now brothers and sisters, this sermon is from our beloved Game Show Guru, Andrew Hain. Hear the workings of the lord.

Camera guys: Amen.

On this National Game Show Day and first day of National Game Show Month as well as the 10th anniversary of Buzzr, this weekend marks one year since I had the time of my life at the Quiz Show Expo at the Burbank Marriott! It was so much fun meeting so many amazing celebrities from the game show community including Bob Eubanks, Todd Newton, David Ruprecht, Pat Finn, Vicki Lawrence, Loretta Swit, Jamie Farr, Jerry Mathers, Joyce Bulifant, Mindy Cohn, Carnie Wilson, Jim J. Bullock, Ruta Lee, Marc Price, Gary Kroeger, Patricia Kara, Glenn Scarpelli, Mackenzie Phillips, Ben Gleib, Rob Belushi, Gary Frank, Charlie Schlatter, Bob Bergen, Mindy Sterling, Wesley Eure, Muffy Marracco, Arianna Haut, Jonathan Mangum, Tiffany Coyne, John O’Hurley, and many others. I also loved meeting game show announcer Bob Hilton, directors Bob Loudin and Steve Grant, casting director Beverly Pomerantz, and producers and writers Francine Bergman, Jason Antoniewicz, Terrence McDonnell, Mark Maxwell-Smith, Ron Greenberg, and Patte Barry, as well as seeing some of my game show friends including Bob Boden, Shelley Herman, John Ricci Jr., Randy West, Adam Nedeff, and Aaron Solomon. As bummed as I am that there won’t be an expo this year since we would’ve known months ago by now, I am definitely looking forward to next year’s expo as well as the opening of the National Archives of Game Shows at the Strong Museum of Play in 2027. Special thanks to Buzzr Creative Director Tony Pinizzotto and his husband Erik Larson for making it all possible and thanks to everyone who came and had just as much fun as I did.

That was Andrew Hain with his sermonette, copies of this will be  available in the narthex of our studio.

We hope you enjoyed National Game Show Day here in Saturn's Bay as much as you did. Thanks to Lainey Schooltree for hosting the place, the liftoff lounge for hosting it and you at home. We may be back on Wednesday if we're stuck in this place, but with that escape hatch thankfully, there's a real definite chance we'll return because on next week's show, we'll be at the Thornton Mall 4-movie cinema in Pacific Bay to celebrate the 500th episode of Super Geeked Up as some other usual stuff. But don't be surprised, when someday, some way, some creature steps up to you and says......

(alien speaking klingon)

That's klingon for Play on Playas.

You want some Sea salt chips?

Amy: Pierre Kelly's wardrobe was dressed by Geek Fuel at geekfuel.com. This is Amy Irons for Game Show Live!, a presentation of Pacific Quay Entertainment, Local Now Productions and Jackbox Media Services which may or may not be reponsible for the litter we made up.
