Livewire! 5/9
Amy: It's time for...........
Your news......with sass. Presented by GA San Andreas. Still as good as ever because GTA VI should've gotten here this year. . Now from the newsroom, it's Pierre Kelly!
Me: Hi everyone, good afternoon from the Pacific Bay area and TGIF! Hope you are well. And if you aren't well, well........
Carnal Knowledge was a late-night show made for adults, but if the comment section on the rare YouTube clip is proof, everyone tuned in. Even the teens and tweens sneak the television on to watch. As the show has very little of a presence, the clips that show Graham in action on the show are exceptionally telling. What’s fascinating is Graham, even in the 90s, had the same exact candor and cadence in his voice. He's snappy. He's sharp. And, no offense to the show's main presenter, he steals the spotlight.
Law Roach, stylist for Zendaya, spotted Anna Sawai at Monday’s Met Gala wearing an all-white tailored suit that was nearly identical to his high-profile client’s own. Speaking off-the-cuff on the red carpet with Hello Beautiful, upon spotting her, he said simply that he’s glad he and Zendaya got there first.
“I am dying because she got on Zendaya’s look,” Law Roach said of Sawai. “I’m so glad we came early.”
Watch the viral moment below:
The theme for this year’s gala was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and both Sawai and Zendaya stunned in their twinning tailored suits, which were accessorized with a wide-brimmed floppy hat and matching gloves.
Zendaya’s fit was a custom Louis Vuitton suit designed by Pharrell that featured Bulgari jewelry. It was decked out with small silver buttons, a button-up shirt and a tie. Roach styled her look for the night.
As for Sawai, she rocked a custom Dior suit and Cartier jewelry. Similarly, Sawai had on a white collar shirt with a tie, which was complimented with a silver tie bar. Karla Welch styled the “Shōgun” star.
The dead funny podcast returns from the grave with a stellar line-up of celebrity goodbyes
Launching Tuesday May 20; Trailer Available Here
Tuesday 6th May – Sony Music’s beloved podcast Where There’s a Will There’s A Wake returns later this month with a new ‘Mortician-in-Chief’, Mel Gieldroyc, following national treasure Kathy Burke’s fond (and characteristically foul-mouthed) farewell as previous host.
Mel takes the reins of the gloriously dark comedy podcast where celebrity guests bring their deaths to life as they plan their final day, from dawn to dusk and into the afterlife.
Best known for co-hosting The Great British Bake Off and turning it into a national institution, Giedroyc has brought her cheeky charm to everything from Taskmaster to The Magic Request Show to Eurovision: You Decide. Now, she’s perfectly poised to guide guests through their dream demises… and we’re dying to hear what she digs up.
Mel Giedroyc says: “What a complete honour it is to step in as the new resident mischief-maker at Where There’s a Will There’s a Wake. I’ll be gleefully rifling through the coffins of the great and good, unearthing their deathly daydreams, and scrubbing up my halo (or perhaps pitchfork) as I guide them into the great beyond…Now, where did I put my scythe and clipboard?”
The show’s loyal fans can rest easy: Where There’s a Will There’s A Wake will continue to be a who’s who of the entertainment world, but this season invites fans to the gates of heaven visually as well, with all episodes available in video for the first time. Previous guests of the show include Claudia Winkleman, Stanley Tucci, Kim Cattrall, Bob Mortimer, Lily Allen and Michael Sheen.
We’ve already heard James Acaster express his desire to be eaten by a Tyrannosaurus rex, Dawn French‘s plan to be embalmed and buried in a Perspex coffin and Alan Carr‘s dream obituary in Take A Break. With Mel at the helm, the wonderfully macabre show is in safe hands and will continue to laugh in the face of death.
New episodes drop weekly on all major podcast platforms starting Tuesday May 20th. It’s time to get back in the coffin.

You are the Twitchhead of the month for May of 2025. You get an imaginary plaque to hang on the wall, bragging rights and what else, Amy Irons?
Amy: A box of Eggo Waffles. You'll be more like Stranger Things and end up like Eleven with a box of Eggo Waffles.
Me: Thanks Amy, we're back next month with another somebody who can be as much as musical as Sarah Coponat.

A Smith & Co. Productions, the company behind NBC’s American Ninja Warrior and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen has a new President. The company has hired Jenny Daly, President of Critical Content, in the role.
It’s a surprising move for Daly, who has been at the Catfish producer since selling her T Group Productions business in 2018.
Arthur Smith will remain Chairman and CEO of the company with Daly overseeing development, production, sales and operations.
During her time at Critical Content, she has been behind Netflix’s Sylvester Stallone documentary Sly, E!’s Celebrity Game Face and Netflix’s Get Organized with The Home Edit, which was produced with Reese Witherspoon and Emily Sims. She was also exec producer of Netflix drama Ginny & Georgia.
Celebrity Puzzling, a weekly quiz show will air in hour-long slots across eight episodes 5 today announced.
Hosted by Jeremy Vine with team captains, actress Sally Lindsay and presenter Carol Vorderman, will each week welcome a new celebrity guest to their respective teams. Together, they tackle a range of fun and fiendish puzzles – testing logic, lateral thinking and problem-solving – all vying for the ultimate prize: bragging rights as the best puzzle-solvers in showbiz.
Jeremy Vine: “It’s amazing to do a quiz that’s so simple and yet feels so fresh in every way. Celebrity Puzzling is one of those shows where, from the very first edition, everything fell into place with our amazing 5 team, with Carol and with Sally, and we just had the greatest fun in the studio. Not to mention burning through quite a few brain cells as we all tried to solve those beastly puzzles!"
The host of famous faces joining the teams each week include Stephen Bailey, Miles Jupp, Shaun Williamson, Les Dennis, Gareth Malone, John Thomson, Dom Joly, Russell Kane, Melvin Odoom, Paul Sinha, David James, Ore Oduba, Scarlett Moffatt, Dr Ranj Singh, Sam Quek and Rav Wilding.
Sally Lindsay: “I was honestly a bit nervous about this challenge as I’m more your general knowledge type but even though it was really competitive at times I surprised myself on some rounds! If you love a puzzle you will love this!”
Carol Vorderman: “I’m so excited to be a team captain on Celebrity Puzzling. Finally, all those years of loving numbers, words and brainteasers are about to pay off! Well, I hope that they are. Joining forces with my brilliant and really good mate Sally Lindsay, and with the ever-clever Jeremy Vine keeping us all in line, it’s going to be a battle of brains… and I’m going to be fighting all the way, of course!”
The series was filmed at Enfys Studios in Cardiff, Wales, and will be available to watch and stream on 5 this year. Produced by Potato (part of ITV Studios), and Wheelhouse (UK division).
