Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell, who first got together in Season 25 of the ABC reality series, are no longer dating. James announced the breakup via a photo caption on his Instagram account Thursday.

“Father God,” he wrote in the caption, “give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts. Give us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord 💔”

Kirkconnell has not posted anything about the breakup; her most recent Instagram post was made on Dec. 5, 2024, and is a reel of her and James; the caption celebrates his birthday.

Steve Harvey is feeling as though he’s on cloud nine.

That’s because the Family Feud host was recently nominated for not one but two NAACP Image Awards.

Steve was nominated for his work on Celebrity Family Feud.

Family Feud announced the news in an Instagram post dated January 13, recognizing Steve for his nominations.

The post included two slides featuring all of the nominees in two categories: Outstanding Host in a Reality/Reality Competition, Game Show or Variety (Series or Special) – Individual or Ensemble and Outstanding Reality Program/Reality Competition Series/Game Show.

Steve will face off against four other hosts in the Outstanding Host in a Reality/Reality Competition, Game Show or Variety (Series or Special) – Individual or Ensemble category: Alfonso Ribeiro of Dancing with the Stars, Keke Palmer of Password, Nick Cannon of The Masked Singer, and Taraji P. Donald Trump‘s second swearing-in as president will have an A-list performance.

Country star Carrie Underwood will be a guest performer at Trump’s upcoming inauguration ceremony, TMZ was first to report. The event will take place Monday, Jan. 20 on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.

Underwood confirmed the gig in a statement obtained by our sister site Variety, saying, “I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

Underwood’s performance of “America the Beautiful” is listed as part of the program for the big day, after J.D. Vance is sworn in as vice president. She will be accompanied by the Armed Forces Chorus and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club. Other scheduled performers include the Village People, the band behind one of Trump’s favorite songs “Y.M.C.A.”

Underwood isn’t the only celebrity to have been part of a former president’s swearing-in ceremony. Aretha Franklin sang “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee” at Barack Obama’s ceremony in 2009, with Ray Charles singing “America the Beautiful” at Ronald Reagan’s second inauguration. Additionally, Barbra Streisand sang “God Bless America” at Bill Clinton’s inauguration in 1993, among many others.

With his second victory, Trump became the first candidate to win the presidency in two non-consecutive terms in more than 130 years, since Grover Cleveland in 1892. And at age 78, he is also now the oldest man ever elected president, breaking the record held by Biden.

Pliers, anyone?

Extracted is coming to FOX next month, and the network is giving viewers another look at the new series with the release of a new trailer.

The survival competition will have 12 contestants compete for a $250,000 prize while their family members decide when they have had enough and hit the big extract button in a locked bunker while they watch their loved one battle the elements.

FOX shared the following about the upcoming series:

“Hailing from the producers of Alone and Special Forces: World’s Toughest TestExtractedfeatures 12 untrained competitors attempting to survive extremely grueling conditions, perilous terrain, and the threat of fearsome predators in the unforgiving Canadian wilderness.

Meanwhile, some miles away, their family members are locked down at a secluded headquarters watching them navigate their dangerous surroundings alone via a 24/7 live feed. The fate of each untrained contestant in the wilderness lies in the hands of their family members back in HQ. Each amateur survivalist’s family has the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to brave the elements and fight to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the ominous “Extract” button and remove their loved one and their whole family from the competition. Extracted begs the question: how far will their loved ones let them go for a chance for their family to win $250,000?”

The trailer for Extracted is below. The new series arrives on February 10th.

What do you think? Do you plan to watch this new competition on FOX in February?
