Heidi Klum is staging a comeback to Project Runway.
Klum, who originally hosted the former Bravo show from 2004 to 2017, is returning to the unscripted series that’s now at Freeform.
In October, the Disney network closed a deal with Spyglass Media Group to bring back the reality competition for a new 10-episode season in 2025. It will also stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
Klum was the original host of Project Runway, with Tim Gunn starting as mentor on the program and ultimately getting a co-host billing. Klum and Gunn were nominated six times for best reality host Primetime Emmy and won in 2013. (Klum has three additional solo Emmy hosting noms.)
Klum and Gunn both bid farewell to Project Runway after the 2017 season. Klum said in a statement at the time, “After 16 incredible seasons, I am saying ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ to Project Runway, a show that I was honored to host and help create. I am incredibly proud of the show, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I am so appreciative of the dedicated fans, and most of all, I am grateful that we could shine a light on creativity and help launch so many talented designers’ careers.”
Staying on for the Freeform incarnation of Project Runway are producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz from Alfred Street Industries. Just like it did for Lifetime 15 years ago, Project Runway is expected to raise Freeform’s profile in the unscripted space.
The news of Klum’s return was first reported by People.

With everyone back in the newsroom and the holiday decorations done and over with, The Knew Network is a gift that keeps on giving. Here's why.
The Traitors UK smashed its record rating for an opening ep last night, luring in more than 5M viewers.
The show peaked with 5.4M, close to its best ever performance which was the finale of last season. It was the most watched show of yesterday in the UK, beating off competition from the news and a Gavin & Stacey tribute. The number will likely shoot up over the coming days as more people watch on catch up.
The previous opener was 2M down on last night and demonstrates how much of a big draw The Traitors – which airs in multiple countries around the world including Peacock in the U.S. – has become for the BBC.

Time to look at this.
You can now play Jeopardy! on your Fire TV Stick. Volley, the developer of the Alexa version of the game show, launched a new edition for Amazon’s streaming device on Thursday.
Unlike the voice assistant edition, this one lets you see the clues onscreen. Of course, you also get a familiar view of the 60-year-old show’s iconic game board.
The game is only available through the developer’s new Volley Games app for Fire OS, which requires a $13 monthly subscription. Jeopardy! is exclusively voice-powered, apart from holding the voice button on the Alexa Voice Remote when you want to answer (in the form of a question, of course).
Although the photo in the article hints that the game might support local multiplayer, the developer says the feature won’t be available at launch but “will be coming soon.” (However, it’s hard to imagine how that will work without buying extra remotes so everyone can buzz in.) For now, the only way to play with friends is to work as a team or take turns with the remote.
Jeopardy! only works on the Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Stick 4K Max. So, you’re out of luck if you have a Fire TV Cube or television with Fire TV baked in. However, Volley says it has plans to expand compatibility.

Jeopardy! has been given a second broadcasting home for 2025.
The popular game show will be airing re-runs of season 39 hosted by Ken Jennings on the Game Show Network (GSN). This will include the championship runs by Ray Lalonde and Cris Pannullo.
The news was broken by the GSN Instagram page on Monday, December 23. The account wrote, "The newest addition to the Game Show Network line up? What is... @jeopardy! Jeopardy! with Ken Jennings starting Monday, January 13 at 9p on Game Show Network!"
The last time Jeopardy! aired regularly on GSN was in 2013, which showed episodes from the show's 25th season. There was a selection of Jeopardy! episodes that aired on GSN in 2020 in tribute to former host, Alex Trebek.
GSN will air the Jeopardy! reruns every weekday at 9pm, with two episodes playing in each slot. This will replace reruns of Wheel of Fortune, which has since moved to 2pm. As noted, the announcement only mentions the Ken Jennings-hosted episodes of season 39 and not the ones hosted by MAyim Bialik, who was dropped from the program in December 2023.

Fox is starting off the year strong, delivering a well-performing Thursday night lineup thanks to some new and returning comedies (and Gordon Ramsay).
The celebrity chef kicked things off in the 8 p.m. hour with the return of Hell’s Kitchen Season 23, which delivered its most-watched telecast of the season with 1.8M viewers tuning in, according to live + same-day Nielsen data. That’s up about 200,000 viewers from the previous episode, which was the winter finale in December.
That was followed up by the Season 3 premiere of Animal Control, which was up 8% versus the Season 2 finale to capture 1.3M viewers at 9 p.m. The debut of Fox’s latest comedy Going Dutch retained nearly 100% of its lead-in at 9:30 p.m., which is a big win for the network.
The previous opener was 2M down on last night and demonstrates how much of a big draw The Traitors – which airs in multiple countries around the world including Peacock in the U.S. – has become for the BBC.

While the last twelve months have been a particularly rough one for the majority of unscripted producers, Sharon Levy, who runs Endemol Shine North America isn’t one of them.
In a sea of fewer greenlights, reduced orders and rising costs, the Banijay-owned company had a pretty solid 2024 (and first week of 2025) with big series on ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition got a new lick of paint on the Disney-owned network last week; CBS scaled The Summit in the fall, Fox continued to cook up MasterChef and build Lego Masters and NBC took classic game show Deal or No Deal to a desert island.
“I don’t want to sound braggy,” CEO Levy told Deadline. “I have an amazing team and what we were able to accomplish in 2024 was massive. We had a great year and I attribute that to first class creative. Now, are people handing out orders like it’s a fire sale at Neiman’s? No. But I still believe that if you have something that someone else feels is exceptional, they’re going to take a swing. The pressure is on us as producers to be pitching those types of ideas with the right creative, first and foremost, then it’s got to be about the right price and it’s got to be the right package.”
It is also now looking to move into the talent competition space with Star Academy.
Star Academy goes behind the scenes of the recording industry as a group of aspiring young artists receive training by an expert composer, stylist, media trainer, director and celebrity who all support the students on their quest for stardom. At the end of the week, the young contestants show off what they’ve learned in a live performance. A panel of judges and viewer voting determines who stays and who goes until one remains. The eventual winner is awarded a record deal and a passport to fame and stardom.
“There is an appetite for music and the way we’re reimagining it is much more of an all access paid to how people discover music now. It’s not the three judges,” said Levy. “The beauty of Star Academy is you live with these people throughout the competition. While you have the big stage show, of course, you’re also having a myriad of cutthroat, soapy competitions behind the scenes. It’s as much a music competition as it is a social experiment. It just feels young.”

Figure that out and in the meantime, here's some Saturday Morning Acapella for you.
And the game I asked you to id is.......

Now watch this.
Wild N Out is an improv battle for over 2 decades where graduates such as Kat Williams and Pete Davidson went on to greater fame. Helmed by Nick Cannon, the show makes fun of his career but lampoons urban life and pop culture. But what if it went to the UK?
Well, it has to comply with British humor which is the same you watch for laughs but have some urban comics and improv people from around the whole UK. Add some new games to match the centric of the country and have the set act like a football field....which is soccer of course. The dj for this will be Pandora Christie of Heart Radio in the UK. But who will host? Here's my selection:
Yep. Mo Gilligan. He has a talk show on channel 4 and knows comedy and improv. He can take Nick Cannon out with forceps and pliers to flatten the USA's version. Then again.........

That's it for this week, today's consolation prize is a water gun. It's more fun in the summer because it's already winter. Especially when you can't take it in your pocket to a job interview.
