Me: Welcome to Game Show Live! Let's get right into it with.......

The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

One of the longest running game shows in history made its way to Hofstra University on Thursday as part of a nationwide tour celebrating "Jeopardy!"

It was just the first stop of the show's country-wide tour as it celebrates its 60th anniversary as a chance to connect with new and long-standing fans.

"These types of events are just a way that we are helping to celebrate the fact that this is a show that has maintained a legacy for 60 years," said producer Sarah Whitcomb Foss. "It's a show that so many people love and enjoy."

There was also the premiere of a new interactive "Jeopardy!" game at Hofstra on Thursday. Students will have a chance to compete against each other on their phones while Hofstra graduate and "Celebrity Jeopardy!" season two runner-up Katie Nolan will be hosting.

"We're not only going to test if you are correct, we're going to test who's the fastest to ring in, so people will have their phones out, will give their correct responses, we'll all play the Daily Double and Final Jeopardy and there will be a big winner going home from tonight's event," Whitcomb Foss said.

Officials say they are excited to bring the show to fans across the country and this is only the beginning, as Sony Pictures Television is launching the "60th Diamond Celebration," a marketing campaign featuring limited edition merchandise and a nationwide road tour.

The campaign kicked off with the launch of the "Why Not You? Campaign," a new game show recruitment initiative intended to inspire more possible contestants to take the Jeopardy! Anytime Test. On this day, the best and brightest hopefuls will be invited to take the test for a chance to compete on the show.

A series of nationwide live events and activations curated for the show will take place from April through December, beginning in New York and then rolling out then in various cities across the U.S. The inaugural fan experience will take place on April 12, at Edge at Hudson Yards, and will feature a live taping of the "Inside Jeopardy!" podcast, and a live play-along game. The in-person, ticketed event will feature appearances by show host Ken Jennings and super-champs Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, and Austin Rogers.

"For 60 years, 'Jeopardy!' has been America's favorite sport of the mind, defying time and continuing to attract viewers of all generations," Suzanne Prete, president, game shows, Sony Pictures Television, said in a statement.

The game show, which was created by Merv Griffin and his wife, Julann, aired in the daytime on NBC through 1979, hosted by Art Fleming. The show returned in 1984 as a five-day weekly first-run syndication program, hosted by the late Alex Trebek.

The show has produced international editions, books, video games, as well as a "Classroom Jeopardy!" version for schools. "It is only fitting to honor their creation, and the show's enduring legacy, with a meaningful celebration that pays tribute to the show's past and to its future," said Michael Davies, executive producer of "Jeopardy!".

Big special shout out goes to.....

PinkPam86. She hails from Long Island but the weather in NYC wasn't always coooperating to her. So she moved to Florida to chase down a dream of visiting Disney Parks for as long as she can. For Disney Resorts and Universal Orlando where Nickelodeon Studios used to be, her average time streaming is that of around an hour and little less than 20 minutes. For Walt Disney World, the average is around less than 3 hours and lots of shoes to switch out. She started on Youtube around 11 months which is almost a year. She even went to 90s Con. Here, have a look.

She even got up close......well, not up close.....and personal with a concert from the host of Common Knowledge himself.

So please go to this...........

And experience her theme park streams for yourself every Wednesday and Saturday without actually paying to go there. Trust me on that.

Twelve rising culinary stars travel to the coastal paradise of Puglia in Southern Italy for a life-changing adventure where they must prove their mastery of Italian cooking techniques and dishes in season two of Ciao House, premiering Sunday, May 19th at 8pm (all times ET/PT) on Food Network. Led by network all-star Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and born-and-bred Italian Chef Gabe Bertaccini, the competitors' cooking skills, personal rivalries and strategic alliances are tested like never before as they battle in the kitchen as individuals and in teams while living together in a majestic 16th-century villa. From cooking with fresh whole fish just caught by local fishermen to creating unique salumi and formaggi platters using the best regional ingredients, the inspiration for each challenge is steeped in Southern Italy's culture, history and traditions. In the end, only one chef is named Capo di Casa and wins the ultimate prize: an immersive culinary education across Italy, training with acclaimed Italian master chefs. In advance of Ciao House, the five-episode tournament Chopped: Battle Italiano, also with Guarnaschelli and Bertaccini judging, premieres Tuesday, April 30th at 8pm ET/PT.

"Our audience fell in love with Ciao House in the show's first season set in Tuscany and we knew we had to find another incredible food region in Italy for season two - and Puglia really delivers," said Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery. "The coastal city and its unique food culture is unparalleled and makes it the perfect locale for this high-stakes competition."

This season's competitors are: Ivan Barros (Los Angeles, California); Zev Bennett (Miami, Florida); Maria Bregatta (Burlington, Vermont); Austin Cobb (Playa Grande, Costa Rica); Devan Cunningham (Phoenix, Arizona); Tiana Gee (Los Angeles, California); Hanna Haar (Montauk, New York); Drew Keane (Chicago, Illinois); Shannon Odom (Haico, Texas); Jan Parker (Tacoma, Washington); Phuoc Vo (Tampa, Florida) and Stikxz Williams (Queens, New York).

"The competition on Ciao House is on another level and I've seen my fair share of competitions," said Guarnaschelli. "These chefs are not only testing their culinary skills - they are living together as a family, so personal relationships, rivalries and loyalties affect each challenge. Winning could change the course of their career, so the stakes are high for everyone."

"In Italy, eating and cooking is one of the highest forms of cultural activity. Growing up there surrounded by my family's love for food and training in some of the best Italian kitchens made me the chef I am today," said Bertaccini. "Seeing these competitors immerse themselves in the beauty of the land, the fresh ingredients and food traditions is not only exciting to watch, but especially it gives me great pride."

IATSE announced Friday that two more local guilds have reached tentative deals on a new contract, bringing the union closer to an agreement on all "craft-specific" matters.

The latest deals involve Local 728, which covers set lighting technicians, and Local 892, the Costume Designers Guild. With those agreements, 10 of the 13 "West Coast" locals now have tentative deals.

The crew union and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have set aside five weeks of bargaining just on local issues, and expect to have that wrapped up before turning to the Basic Agreement on April 29.

The Basic Agreement covers issues affecting all 13 guilds, including pension and health contributions, wage increases, and artificial intelligence. IATSE leaders have said that they hope the local talks will generate momentum that will carry through into the broader negotiations.

"This bargaining calendar, together with the diligent preparation work that the West Coast Studio Locals' Negotiation Committees have done, has meant that the time we have spent at the table so far with the employers was effective," said Mike Miller, vice president of IATSE and director of the union's motion picture and TV department, in a statement.

The remaining three locals that have yet to reach agreements are Local 44, Local 705, and Local 884. All are set to begin their talks next week. The IATSE contract does not expire until July 31, and negotiators hope to have an agreement ratified by that date.

The Basic Agreement negotiations are scheduled to run for three weeks into mid-May, followed by talks on the Area Standards Agreement, a parallel contract that covers 23 IATSE locals around the country. The Teamsters and other Basic Crafts unions are also set to hold their negotiations in June. Their contract also expires on July 31.

USA Network is encouraging a group of contestants to stay anonymous with its latest unscripted competition series.

The NBCUniversal cabler has ordered The Anonymous (w/t) from Studio Lambert, the All3Media-backed production company behind series such as Peacock's The Traitors and Netflix's Squid Game: The Challenge.

The series is a game of social strategy where people are free to say what they really feel behind the safety of a mask. What would you say and do if nobody was watching you?

It is played in two worlds: the real world, where players interact face to face, but also a digital world, where the players communicate behind a mask of anonymity, known as Anonymous Mode. Here in individual private hideouts, each player is free to say whatever they want to advance their game.

The question is: Can they stay anonymous or will the other players guess their identity causing them to lose their power in the game?

It is set to film in Europe and will be exec produced by Stephen Lambert, Jack Burgess, Tim Harcourt, Toni Ireland, Stephen Yemoh and Andy Cadman.

It is USA Network's latest unscripted order; the network is behind series such as Barmageddon, which recently aired its second season, and Race To Survive, which returns in May.

Studio Lambert is currently working on season two of Squid Game: The Challenge and is behind series such as The Circle and Undercover Boss as well as Amazon's reboot of The Grand Tour.

CBS today announced the series order for the new daytime drama THE GATES for broadcast on the Network in January 2025. The specific time period, launch date and other series details will be announced at later dates.

THE GATES follows the lives of a wealthy Black family in a posh, gated community. Michele Val Jean, who has written more than 2,000 episodes of daytime dramas and won multiple Daytime Emmy and WGA Awards for her work on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and "General Hospital," will serve as writer and showrunner. Val Jean will also be an executive producer alongside Sheila Ducksworth, Leon Russell, Derrick Johnson and Kimberly Doebereiner.

THE GATES was developed from the joint venture between CBS Studios and the NAACP. The series will be produced by the CBS Studios/NAACP venture in partnership with P&G Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble.

The CBS Studios production venture and development deal with the NAACP was established to help elevate a diverse range of voices as well as increase the visibility of Black artists on broadcast and streaming platforms in an ever-evolving media landscape.

The news comes as word of The Talk was coming to an end: CBS revealed Friday that its daytime talk show has been picked up for a 15th and final season and will wrap its run in December.

Welp....this happened.

The first Golden Bachelor couple, who met on the show last fall and married in a live ABC televised wedding in January, are divorcing.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced the news on Good Morning America today.

"Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we've looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and we've kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it's probably time for us to dissolve our marriage," Turner told Juju Chang in the GMA interview.

"Get a divorce?" Chang asked. "Yes," Turner replied.

Said Nist, "We have received so much love and support from so many people who watched The Golden Bachelor and I don't think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope. We want none of that to change for anybody." The couple were vague, to say the least, about what went wrong in the marriage.

"The thing that strikes me the most in our conversations," Turner said, "it's been how dedicated both of us are to our families … So we look at these situations and I think we just feel like it's best for the happiness of each of us to, to live apart."

"I still love this person," Turner added. "There's no doubt in my mind, I still am in love with her. I root for her every day." Nist responded, "Yeah, I still love him."

The couple said they would return the wedding rings that ABC purchased for the show. "I think that's the rule," Nist said, with Turner adding, "But you know what? We don't have to give back the memories." The couple confirmed they had a prenuptial agreement in place.
