head of the 60th anniversary of the debut of quiz show "Jeopardy!" on March 30, 1964, show creator Sony Pictures Television is launching the "60th Diamond Celebration," a marketing campaign featuring limited edition merchandise and a nationwide road tour.

The campaign kicks off on March 30, with the launch of the "Why Not You? Campaign," a new game show recruitment initiative intended to inspire more possible contestants to take the Jeopardy! Anytime Test. On this day, the best and brightest hopefuls will be invited to take the test for a chance to compete on the show.

A series of nationwide live events and activations curated for the show will take place from April through December, beginning in New York and then rolling out then in various cities across the U.S. The inaugural fan experience will take place on April 12, at Edge at Hudson Yards, and will feature a live taping of the "Inside Jeopardy!" podcast, and a live play-along game. The in-person, ticketed event will feature appearances by show host Ken Jennings and super-champs Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, and Austin Rogers.

There will also be the rollout of a new Jeopardy! bar trivia game that will bow in major cities later this fall, among other initiatives that will be announced at a later date.

"For 60 years, 'Jeopardy!' has been America's favorite sport of the mind, defying time and continuing to attract viewers of all generations," Suzanne Prete, president, game shows, Sony Pictures Television, said in a statement.

The game show, which was created by Merv Griffin and his wife, Julann, aired in the daytime on NBC through 1979, hosted by Art Fleming. The show returned in 1984 as a five-day weekly first-run syndication program, hosted by the late Alex Trebek.

The show has produced international editions, books, video games, as well as a "Classroom Jeopardy!" version for schools. "It is only fitting to honor their creation, and the show's enduring legacy, with a meaningful celebration that pays tribute to the show's past and to its future," said Michael Davies, executive producer of "Jeopardy!".

News just in.

Sammy Super Star's channel has been completely wiped out. Either that or he wanted to apply for an actual job somewhere in NYC. Anyway, This is the link......

(26) Sammy Super Star - YouTube

But he has decided to start off from scratch. The clip and the entire short film is there, but no livestreams and nothing else. That's because it comes from this.

If there are no further questions, please tweet him on X at @SammySuperStar0 and he'll explain the details as to why and how. Please do it before Kaye Adams spirals us out of control.

Taskmaster returned to Channel 4 on Thursday for its 17th season, featuring five new contestants.

The comedy gameshow, which first aired on Dave in 2015, sees five comedy acts put to the test in a series of wacky physical and mental challenges over its 10-episode-long seasons.

Its 17th season began on Thursday, March 28, with subsequent episodes following weekly at 9pm on Channel 4. Episodes are made available worldwide on the show's official YouTube channel every Friday at 5p ET.

Five new comedians have joined the Taskmaster line-up for this season alongside hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

Joanne McNally is an Irish stand-up comic, writer and actress who hosts a podcast called My Therapist Ghosted Me alongside model and media personality Vogue Williams. She appeared on Channel 4's The Big Fat Quiz of Everything in April 2022, and co-presented the one-off E4 special Joanne & Vogue's Sex Drive alongside Williams in September 2023. McNally, 40, previously starred in comedy show Separated at Birth (which she wrote co-wrote with co-star PJ Gallagher, who spotted her during her 2014 stage show Singlehood), and has appeared in other shows including Richard Osman's House of Games and Iain Stirling's CelabAbility as well as performing at various comedy festivals. Message: The Circle is finally returning with an all-new season after more than a year. Send!

Netflix announced on Tuesday that season 6 of the social media reality competition series will return next month — and this time, every player entering the Circle is single and #readytomingle.

That's right, this means more flirting than ever between the people sitting alone in their empty apartments, sending spicy emojis and questionable hashtags via DM to someone who is most likely to be a catfish.

The new season also promises more drama and surprises as a new set of contestants compete in challenges to earn the ultimate cash prize as top influencer.

The first four episodes of The Circle season 6 premiere April 17 on Netflix, with new episodes rolling out every Wednesday after that leading up to the finale on May 8.

The iconic US game show, "Wheel of Fortune", will be given a local twist.

Mzansi's contestants will get the chance to spin for their share of winnings when the local version lands on S3 from April 8 at 7.30pm.

The multiple Emmy-award-winning game show, created by US media mogul Merv Griffin, sees three players spin the wheel, solve puzzles and avoid going bankrupt along the way in an attempt to win loads of cash and magnificent prizes.

Primedia Studios president Jan du Plessis said: "We are extremely excited and honoured to finally add the African continent to 'Wheel of Fortune's' phenomenal legacy.

"'Wheel of Fortune' is arguably the most successful game-show format of all time in terms of its universal appeal and longevity. But, best of all, South Africans will now have the opportunity to spin their lives around by playing this spectacular yet simple game on a state-of-the-art set.

"Add mind-blowing amounts of cash and unimaginable prizes – even cars – up for grabs, and 'Wheel of Fortune South Africa' is in a league unseen on local television before," said Du Plessis.

Here's a Follow along on Sign-Tastic.

Produced in 2022, Silent Visual Media's 'SignTasTic!' is an episodic game show featuring Deaf performers and hearing contestants. The game show was picked up for distribution by VSYN+, the world's first streaming platform for Sign Language entertainment. The first episode of 'SignTasTic!' premiered on the new streaming platform in March 2024, and releases one episode per week every Tuesday until May 2024.

In SignTasTic, hearing contestants have 24 hours to learn FIFTY signs in American Sign Language (ASL). Their ASL skills will then be put to the test through a series of games like trivia, gestures, and ASL conversations - all led by our talented cast of Deaf performers.

'SignTasTic!' aims to bridge the gap between Deaf and hearing communities and is the first of its kind in the TV game show genre. The show features Deaf talent like Lisa McBee, Dack Virnig, and Roxie Dummett, along with America's first Deaf television game show host Dan Cook.

SignTasTic! promotes a cross-cultural approach to learning American Sign Language (ASL) by engaging both the Deaf and hearing communities. Each episode encourages the understanding of ASL for both hearing contestants and audience members. As hearing contestants compete to win a grand prize of $5,000, audience members can follow along by watching a video dictionary of pre-selected signs per episode.

Visit silentvisualmedia.com for more information on how you can stream 'SignTasTic!' or visit us on social media.

BBC One has set the premiere of Celebrity Bridge of Lies season two, hosted by Ross Kemp, for April 6.

A new lineup of celebrity contestants will take on the interactive bridge, carefully stepping on truths and avoiding the lies, in the hope of winning cash for their chosen charities. The new season will introduce the "hotline" feature, which will allow the playing contestant to seek advice from their teammates in the waiting room if they're stuck.

The first episode's contestants include Dion Dublin, Sam Quek, Melvin Odoom and Joanna Page. Later episodes in the season feature teams of pop icons (Sinitta, Ian "H" Watkins, Ritchie Neville and Una Healy), BBC Morning Live presenters (Gethin Jones, Dr Ranj Singh, Anna Haugh and Briony May Williams) and soap stars (Chris Bisson, Lucy-Jo Hudson, Simon Gregson and Danielle Harold). Other teams include actor Kevin Fletcher and his wife and presenter Alex Beresford and his father. The latter duo recently one Celebrity Race Across the World.

While Celebrity Bridge of Lies will air on Saturday nights, the original Bridge of Lies will continue on weekdays. International format sales, outside of the U.S. and Australia, are handled by BBC Studios Distribution.

"I have such a brilliant time filming the daytime version of Bridge of Lies, but there's something about the celebrity series that ramps the jeopardy up a gear," Kemp said. "Maybe it's the fact that the celebs are doing it for charity… or simply that they have reputations to uphold!"

He continued, "This year's series is filled with big personalities, and the competition is fiercer than ever. The usual rivalries between popstars, soap stars and comics are left at the door because, as we've learned with this show, the only way you can conquer the bridge is by working effectively as a team. But remember, celebrities, it's Saturday night——so let's have some fun too!"
