Hey friends and people who want to be friends and enemies who can turn out to be friends......welcome to........

Pierre Kelly here stuck out at Mermaid Lagoon because some Freeze warning is out for Pacific Bay this past week turning it into some snow globe. Anyways, I'm here by myself but the newsroom gave me some stories, so let's start with.....

The  Talking Through The Medias opening toss up story.

The 13 players competing in "Deal or No Deal Island," the new, fully-immersive twist on the beloved game show, have been revealed.

Hosted by Joe Manganiello and executive produced by Howie Mandel, "Deal or No Deal Island" is set to premiere Feb. 26 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC before moving to its regular timeslot at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Mar. 4. All episodes will be available next day on Peacock. A special 30-minute preview of "Deal or No Deal Island" is set to air on Saturday, Jan. 13 after the NFL Wildcard game on NBC.

Included in the lineup are reality TV fan favorites "Boston" Rob Mariano and Claudia Jordan who will be vying to get their hands on valuable briefcases hidden on the elusive Banker's private island.

The full list of contestants seeking those riches is:

· Dawson Addis, 25 | Muskego, WI

· Aron Barbell, 26 | Champaign, IL

· Jordan Fowler, 29 | Nashville, TN

· Nick Grasso, 29 | Brooklyn, NY

· Miranda Harrison, 30 | Fort Myers, FL

· Claudia Jordan, 50 | Dallas, TX

· Alyssa Klinzing, 26 | Kansas City, MO

· "Boston" Rob Mariano, 47 | Perdido Keys, FL

· Kim Mattina, 63 | Anthem, AZ

· Amy McCoy, 42 | Oklahoma City, OK

· Dr. Stephanie Mitchell, 41 | Gainesville, AL

· Jamil Sipes, 47 | Grand Prairie, TX

· Brantzen Wong, 31 | Tustin, CA

In addition to the contestants, models Ben Crofchick and Kamari Love join the cast as the Banker's Assistants - hired to keep a watchful eye on the valuable briefcases hidden throughout the island and assisting with the cases in each pivotal game of "Deal or No Deal."

In "Deal or No Deal Island," the iconic briefcases are hidden around the island and worth over $200 million in prize money split between them. In each episode, players compete in daring challenges to secure the briefcases that will be used in that night's game of "Deal or No Deal." The player who snags the highest-value case gains immunity and gets to choose a fellow player to enter "The Temple." The chosen competitor must then play a high-stakes game of "Deal or No Deal."

If the player makes a bad deal and accepts an offer that is a lesser value than what is in their chosen case, they are immediately eliminated. If the player makes a good deal and accepts an offer that is a higher value than what is in their case, the power is in their hands and they get to select who to eliminate.

The winnings from each game of "Deal or No Deal" will be added to a group pot that will grow to an exponential value throughout the season. At the end of the season, the last player standing will face the Banker to potentially win the biggest prize in "Deal or No Deal" history.

However, the devious Banker is always watching and raising the stakes with tests of strategy and greed. Manganiello will serve as the gaming liaison - an intermediary between the Banker and contestants - overseeing gameplay and helping to navigate them through tough, life-changing decisions.

Produced by Endemol Shine North America "Deal or No Deal Island" is an exciting new competition format that has been reimagined from the original Banijay format, "Deal or No Deal." Executive producers are Matt Kunitz, Matt Apps, Sarah Happel Jackson, Howie Mandel and Endemol Shine North America's Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre and Sean Loughlin.

Hang out, we got more after this.

And now......a moment in Emmys history.

Keke Palmer is breaking records! The media personality, 30, won an Emmy for outstanding host for a game show for NBC's Password at the 75th Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday — becoming the first woman to do so in 15 years, and the first woman of color to do so in Emmys history.

As she collected the award at the ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in downtown L.A. the star said, as reported by Deadline, "Wow. That is so exciting thank you so much. I'm really just so thankful, I'm almost speechless."

Palmer continued, "I want to thank the people who allowed this to happen, thank you to Jimmy Fallon, thank you to NBC."

Meanwhile, Fallon, 49, also heaped praise on Palmer, per Deadline. "Sharp, charming and quick-witted all while looking like a superstar. There's no one like Keke Palmer," he said.

Palmer received the Emmy award ahead of fellow nominees Steve Harvey (Family Feud), Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik (Jeopardy!), and Pat Sajak (Wheel of Fortune).

The last woman to win for the same category was Meredith Vieira for Who Wants to be a Millionaire? in 2009. The first woman to ever win for the category was Betty White, who won for Just Men! in 1983.

This year marks the first time Password has been nominated in 50 years, after Allen Ludden first won for the show at the first-ever Daytime Emmy Awards back in 1974.

Meanwhile, historic runs continued as RuPaul won his 13th Primetime Emmy – outstanding host for a reality or competition program for RuPaul's Drag Race. This marks the eighth consecutive win for RuPaul, who also holds the record for most wins by a person of color.

During his speech, the producer and host said, "I'm so proud to be a part of this medium, you invited me to be a part of this. You are my family." He went on to thank his family and World of Wonder producers Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey.

He shared a story about being "at the bottom" and sleeping on his friend Larry Tee's couch. "He told me, 'These are terrible times. Remember who you are, don't give up.'" Speaking to the audience, RuPaul said, "I want to tell all these kids out here in the business, remember who you are. Do not give up. Stick with it, kiddo, and remember who you are."

With his win, RuPaul adds to his collection of awards, which includes the Tony Award he landed last year for producing the Broadway show "A Strange Loop.".

Jeopardy!, Emmy's most honored game show, took the prize for Outstanding Game Show, bringing its total trophy count to 44. Departed host Mayim Bialik took to her Instagram to celebrate: "I'm so proud to have been a part of the 2022 season of Jeopardy! that won the primetime Emmy last night for best game show."

An emotional Derek Hough took home the gold Sunday at the Creative Arts Emmys for Outstanding Choreography. Through tears, he dedicated his win to wife Hayley Erbert. "Exactly a month ago I was in the hospital. this is a different moment," he said, choking up after winning the fourth Emmy of his career for choreographing Michael Buble's "Higher." "A life-changing moment reminded me to really savor each every moment."

"What a stark contrast this has been," he continued. "I just flew in from Washington, DC, last night." He then went on to dedicate his Emmy to "my beautiful wife. Your strength and your courage this whole month has been unbelievable," he continued. "You inspire me every day.".

Other winners of note...

While it might look at first glance like a group of 11 strangers spending a few weeks in paradise, Netflix's The Trust: A Game of Greed is anything but.

The competition series will see a group of people given $250,000 to split evenly, but will they take their fair share of money or keep more for themselves?

As per Netflix, the show is "the ultimate test of human nature, as greed and mistrust threaten to destroy even the strongest relationship".

While everyone starts the game as winners, they can all leave just the same. But that's if they choose to share and if they don't, some people will be out of luck.

Ahead of this year's Summer Olympics, WOW Presents Plus is bringing back a far more important international competition: RuPaul's Drag Race UK Versus the World.

The second season premiere will be available to stream on Friday, Feb. 9, day and date with its linear debut in the UK, and we now know which familiar faces will compete to become Queen of the Mothertucking World.

For starters, Stateside queens Scarlet Envy and Mayhem Miller will be crossing the pond, where they'll be welcomed by UK favorites Choriza May, Gothy Kendoll, Jonbers Blonde and Tia Kofi. Additional returning competitors include Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha from Spain, Hannah Conda from Australia, Keta Minaj from Holland, La Grande Dame from France and Marina Summers from the Philippines.

The show's first season wrapped in March 2022 with the crowning of UK queen Blu Hydrangea, who faced some stiff competition — fellow UK favorite Baga Chipz, plus US icons Jujubee and Mo Heart — in the dramatic finale.

Now for a rejected Olympic game called the Mistplay Game Break. What toy is this?

Name the toy after Brianne Chandler making her music debut after doing a lot of stuff involving movies. Here it is.

Looks very animated, don't it? What was the toy I asked you to identify? It was....the Mattel Hyperscan. It was a combination of Magic The Gathering and the PS1 era. Long load times and a short game library done did it for the system thanks to Xbox 360 and the PS3 at the time.
