The Chase Australia star Mark “The Beast” Labbett has stunned fans once again with his remarkable weight loss transformation.
Labbett recently shared video from his birthday celebrations, where he is blowing out a candle on his birthday cake and being served up a hearty meal of bangers and mash.
His girlfriend, TV presenter Hayley Palmer, originally posted the footage, which Labbett then re-shared.
“Mark Labbett trying to keep his birthday low-key ... I’m not having it!” the footage was captioned, as cheers could be heard in the background.
Speaking to Loose Women, Labbett said he was at his heaviest in 2003, weighing 184kg.
He credited his pet Golden Retriever, Baloo, for helping him to get into a regular exercise routine.

Carol Vorderman has spoken out after The Chase's 'The Beast', Mark Labbett, was accused of being 'creepy' towards her on an episode of Beat The Chasers earlier this year.
The former Countdown presenter participated in the ITV game show in January 2022, joining host Bradley Walsh for a celebrity edition of the fast-paced quiz. Carol left with £1,000 for her chosen charity, The Cleft Lip and Palate Association, after failing to get very far against Chasers Mark, Jenny Ryan and Anne Hegerty. Her disappointing performance was met by surprise from some viewers, who have long known Vorderman as one of British TV's most intellectual personalities.
The episode was repeated on ITV last night, bringing new attention to a controversy sparked one of its stars when it first premiered in 2022. Shortly after the episode was broadcast, 'The Beast' Mark Labbett tweeted, "I don’t know what is more impressive about @carolvorders, her intellect or her more tangible assets #superstar #BeatTheChasers." The post was quickly met by criticism from fans, some of whom claimed that The Beast's remarks on Vorderman's body was unacceptable.
Manning-Casting a Spelling Bee
(CNN) — Former NFL and University of Tennessee star quarterback Peyton Manning is returning to his alma mater this fall.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback will be joining the College of Communication and Information as a professor of practice starting in the 2023 fall semester, the university announced Monday.
He will join select classes during the academic year as an expert, the university said, “bringing significant industry experience to the classroom.”
In a statement, Manning said, “My time as a student in the College of Communication and Information was a foundational experience during which I learned critical skills and messaging techniques that I continue to put to use almost daily.
“I look forward to working with the college’s talented faculty and directly with students in an effort to ensure they are well prepared for their future careers.”
Manning will partner with faculty, teaching several topics, which include public speaking, sports reporting, video production and performance, and leadership and communication.
“There is no other ambassador for our college and university like Peyton Manning, and we are proud to welcome him to the college’s faculty,” Joseph Mazer, dean of the College of Communication and Information, said in a statement.
“Peyton is a true Volunteer, and I look forward to our students gaining invaluable knowledge from him as we continue to prepare the next generation of communication and information leaders.”
Manning graduated from Tennessee in 1997 with a degree in speech communication after leading the Volunteers to a Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship against the Auburn Tigers.

“Temptation Island” is spicing up the summer with a special bonus episode.
“Temptation Island: Secrets Revealed,” which will feature behind-the-scenes footage and bloopers from the reality show’s fifth installment, will debut exclusively on Peacock before airing in its regular timeslot on USA Network.
The one-hour special, hosted by Mark L. Walberg, will begin streaming on Peacock on Thursday, Aug. 10, before premiering on USA Network on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 9 p.m.
