Over to the tiffany network.
Yellowstone is set to make its broadcast debut as part of CBS' fall schedule, which now includes a slew of reality series as well as a number of Paramount+ series such as SEAL Team and the original UK incarnation of Ghosts.
The launch of Taylor Sheridan's Kevin Costner-fronted drama, which is coming to an end with its fifth season, as revealed by Deadline, on Paramount Network, is the headline of CBS' reworked schedule, which has been impacted by both the writers strike and, now, actors strike.
TV's top-rated drama will launch on Sundays starting with Season 1, taking the place of The Equalizer at 9 p.m.
The schedule, which includes 185 hours of original programming, also will feature the return of SEAL Team. The David Boreanaz-fronted military drama, which is produced by CBS Studios, originated on CBS and ran four seasons on the broadcast network before moving to Paramount+ for its fifth season. The series has now run for six seasons and was renewed for a seventh. It will air on Thursday nights at 10 p.m., a slot that was intended to be for new series Elsbeth, a spinoff of The Good Wife/The Good Fight.
Paramount+ docuseries FBI True, which comes from FBI co-creator Craig Turk, also will air on the network, alongside repeats of FBI.
One other unnamed Paramount+ original also will air on the network on Mondays at 10 p.m. That's a slot originally intended for NCIS: Hawai'i, so don't be surprised to see Evil, which also originated on CBS, there. It's not the first time that CBS has aired streaming originals on linear. During Covid, the network aired Star Trek: Discovery, from then-named CBS All Access.
Elsewhere, the network is also getting more Ghosts, this time of the British persuasion. The BBC series, which the CBS version is based on, will air between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursdays after a repeat of the U.S. version. The BBC series, which streams on Warner Bros. Discovery's Max, has run for four seasons and stars Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as two people who lives in a house plagued by ghosts played by Lolly Adefope, Matthew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond and Katy Wix.
There also will be a slew of reality series airing during the fall. Alongside 90-minute versions of Survivor and The Amazing Race, which were unveiled as part of its original fall schedule in May, there will be Lotería Loca and Raid the Cage, both of which were revealed by Deadline, as well as a series based on Josh Duhamel's Buddy Games. Lotería Loca will air at 8 p.m. on Mondays, where The Neigborhood and Bob Hearts Abishola would have aired; Raid the Cage takes 9 p.m. on Fridays, where Fire Country would have run; and Buddy Games is at 9 p.m. on Thursdays, in place of So Help Me Todd. There's plenty of Big Brother on the schedule, airing Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as The Price Is Right at Night, Let's Make a Deal Primetime and The Challenge: USA.
60 Minutes will be supersized with 90-minute episodes on certain Sundays when NFL on CBS broadcasts doubleheader games and there will be more primetime college football games from the Big Ten, SEC and Mountain West conferences as well as the NWSL Championship Game.

And then to Fox.
Aside from its regular "Fox Animation Domination" block on Sunday nights, Fox's fall schedule is taking a more alternative approach this year as the WGA strike continues to remain an issue for Hollywood
. In similar fashion to other broadcast networks, Fox's fall schedule was notably missing mention of its scripted series premiere dates. Those programming blocks have instead been filled with unscripted shows like "Celebrity Name that Tune" and "Kitchen Nightmares" and animated series like newcomer"Krapopolis" (which recently got a long overdue premiere date) and mainstays like "The Simpsons," "Bob's Burgers" and "Family Guy."
Hosted by Jane Krakowski and band leader Randy Jackson, "Celebrity Name That Tune" is an all-celebrity edition with games that will test the musical knowledge of athletes, musicians, actors, TV personalities, comedians and Olympians as they play for their favorite charities with a chance to win over $150,000. The show is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment, Prestige Entertainment and BiggerStage. On behalf of BiggerStage, Sean O'Riordan serves as executive producer and Shane Byrne serves as the series' showrunner. Ralph Rubenstein and Noah Rubenstein also are executive producers.
"Name That Tune" will kick off the schedule and is followed by "I Can See Your Voice," which returns for Season 3. Hosted and executive produced by Ken Jeong, Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton also return with a rotating panel of celebrity detectives to help one contestant tell the difference between good and bad singer without ever hearing them sing a note.
New game show, "Snake Oil" will also make its series debut on Wednesday, September 27. The show is hosted and produced by comedian David Spade and executive-produced by Will Arnett, through his Electric Avenue Productions. "Snake Oil" follows contestants as they are pitched unique products by convincing entrepreneurs – some of whom are showcasing real business ventures, while the others are "Snake Oil Salesmen," whose products are fake. With the help of guest celebrity advisors, contestants must determine which products are real and which are a sham, for a chance to win life-changing money.

What's not on strike? I'm glad you asked. It's podcasts and it's the subject of...............
Podcasts......you should listen to.
Critics have welcomed Amol Rajan as he presented his first episode of BBC Two quiz show University Challenge.
Rajan is only the third host in the quiz show's history, following Bamber Gascoigne and Jeremy Paxman.
As he introduced the new series, Rajan told viewers: "A few things have changed since the last series, but all the important things remain the same."
The Telegraph said Rajan's manner was "cheerful and relaxed" while iNews said his arrival felt "seamless".
Rajan's first episode was watched by 1.9 million viewers - outperforming Extraordinary Portraits on BBC One in the same timeslot, which achieved 1.22m.
"He has the two essential qualities required for success as the chair of University Challenge," said the Independent's Sean O'Grady in a five-star review.
"First, he looks like he's genuinely enjoying himself just as much as the contestants, and indeed the show's dedicated followers. Second, he has the demeanour of someone clever and knowledgeable (which he is), but doesn't come across as a know-it-all (which he isn't)."
He added: "Quietly spoken and respectful to his youthful charges, [Rajan] is almost paternal in tone... But I'm sure the questions are tougher and more complex than in the Paxman era."
Appearing on The One Show ahead of his first episode on Monday night, Rajan, 40, discussed his experience of taking the Univerity Challenge baton from Paxman.
Describing the former Newsnight presenter as a "giant of broadcasting", British-Indian journalist Rajan said: "Talk about big shoes to fill… Such an enormous, heroic figure in our culture. "Very sadly, he has Parkinson's, people will know he has been dealing with that illness. I know people who have Parkinson's and it has affected my family."
Rajan continued: "I wanted to give him a call. Did it in the morning and I had two messages. I said, 'Jeremy, I'm going to say two things. One is, thank you for passing the show on in such great condition. The ratings are great, the format's as solid as ever. The other thing is I'll try not to screw it up.'
"We had the sweetest conversation. What he said to me is, 'Thank you for calling, I appreciate you calling, it's the right thing to do.'"

It's time to meet the new bombshells who will be heading to the villa on Love Island USA.
The reality dating series is returning to Peacock for its fifth season on July 18 and bringing 10 new contestants hoping to find love along with it: Destiny, Marco, Anna, Leonardo, Kassy, Bergie, Jasmine, Keenan, Kay Kay, and Victor. The islanders will couple up before embarking on a series of challenges — including the arrival of new potential suitors — that will quickly put their budding relationships to the test this summer.
Hosted by Sarah Hyland and narrated by fan-favorite Love Island U.K. announcer Iain Stirling, Love Island USA will air in real time with new episodes washing ashore on Peacock every day during its first week. From there, the program will then shift to a six-day schedule, with no episodes airing on Wednesdays. Viewers can also influence what happens on the island by voting throughout the season.

Grab your nails, it's gonna be a big project ahead of you.
Watch out, fans of Nailed It!, a bigger and more intense baking show is coming to Netflix in the form of The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge.
Similar to its predecessor, the offshoot will feature 10 amateur chefs attempting to bake a variety of confections from plain vanilla to cake in the shape of pizza. However, the grand prize is a whopping $100,000 to the last wannabe chef standing instead of Nailed It!'s $10,000 per episode.
In addition, two professional pastry chefs will guide the contestants through all of the slip-ups and disasters as seen in the trailer below.
Comedian Nicole Byer and pastry chef Jacques Torres also will reprise their roles as co-hosts and judges. Though these contestants aren't "Michelin chefs," as one of the contestants says in the video, "When you make something from the heart, you feel the love from it," and we are sure this show will be filled with heartfelt moments.
The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge is set for release on Friday, August 4, and will consist of 10 45-minute episodes, all of which will drop that day.
