Paramount+ today revealed a stacked lineup of international contestants for the upcoming global edition of the dating competition series ARE YOU THE ONE? The new season will premiere exclusively on the service Wednesday, Jan. 18 in the U.S. and Canada and roll out in the U.K., Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria on Thursday, Jan. 19, in Latin America on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and in Australia on Thursday, Feb 14.
Relationship expert and TV host Kamie Crawford will host the first-of-its-kind global edition that will take contestants to Gran Canaria, Spain. An official trailer and key art were also released.

In the most ambitious dating experiment ever attempted, 22 recently single men and women from around the globe were put through an extensive matchmaking process to find their "perfect match." Hailing from around the world and living together under one roof at an international location, these singles will have a shared goal: to find "the one." Each week, the singles will have an opportunity to find their match, and if they can identify all 11 perfect matches at the same time, they'll split a massive cash prize.
The global expansion turned a new leaf last season and broke barriers with its U.S. edition when it became the first sexually fluid reality dating competition show in the nation. From coming-out moments to discoveries of sexual and gender identity, it told powerful stories about navigating relationships and finding love as a sexually fluid individual for the first time on a reality dating show.

TBS will air Power Slap: Road To The Title, a reality series based around a new sports league from Dana White, despite UFC President being caught on camera slapping his wife over the holidays.
The Warner Bros. Discovery network, however, has pushed the premiere of the series back a week following the incident. Deadline understands that TBS will air the first episode on January 18. It was originally scheduled to air on January 11. It has been replaced in the schedule with a repeat on Young Sheldon. There had been reports earlier today that the series had been shelved after it was removed from the January 11 schedule.
Power Slap is a new sports league created by White, Lorenzo Fertitta and Craig Piligian, the Pilgrim Media founder who runs Lionsgate's unscripted division. It is focused on competitive open-handed striking.
The league was created in partnership with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Endeavor. It features competitors from across the globe competing on the ultimate stage to showcase their power, technique and resolve.
The eight-part series, which is produced by Pilgrim Media Group, follows athletes competing to earn a spot in the cast house, the first Power Slap rankings, in future Power Slap matches and world recognition.
Over the holidays, White was seen hitting his wife Anne across the face after she hit him at a Cabo San Lucas nightclub in Mexico. He apologized in a statement after the video was leaked to TMZ and described it as a "horrible" incident.

Portuguese broadcaster TVI has commissioned a local version of long-running US gameshow format Let's Make a Deal.
TVI's adaptation will be produced by Fremantle Portugal and distributed by Can't Stop Media, which also shops the format internationally. The show is scheduled to air in a primetime slot from Mondays to Fridays.
"Very glad to start 2023 with such great news coming from Portugal," said Damien Porte, partner, global distribution and operations, at London-based Can't Stop.
Let's Make a Deal was created for NBC in 1963 by Stefan Hantos and Monty Hall, who also served as the presenter for 30 years. It has been revived several times in its 60-year history, most recently in 2009 by CBS in 2009, whose version is hosted by Wayne Brady.

Superchef Grudge Match premieres Tuesday, February 7th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network and streaming on discovery+.
