Colbi King: From the Game Show Live! newsroom, it's time for.............
Your news......with sass. Presented by Christmas music. You wanna hear it? You have to wait until after Thanksgiving to hear it. Here now is..... Pierre Kelly!
Me: Hi everyone, good afternoon from the Pacific Bay area and TGIF! Hope you are well. And if you aren't well, well........
We’re nearly halfway through Survivor‘s 43rd season, and according to the game’s host, things are about to get spicy.
“Post-merge is when the game gets even more dangerous because now you’re on your own,” Jeff Probst tells TVLine. “Deeply loyal alliances can be a powerful asset or a dangerous liability.”
In last week’s episode, the players learned they weren’t quite merged just yet, and after a brutal immunity challenge loss, only Cody, Elie, Cassidy, James, Owen and Sami were vulnerable to the vote. Elie then felt the target shift toward her after Gabler informed everyone that she went through his bag earlier in the game (she didn’t). Unwilling to rat out her gal pal Jeanine, Elie became the sixth person voted out of Survivor 43, missing the official merge by just a single day. (Be sure to check out a full recap, along with our weekly exit interview.)
Ben Shephard has paid tribute to a Tipping Point contestant who died after filming today's episode (Wednesday, November 2). Rav successfully made it all the way to the last stages of the game show.
However, the contestant died after filming for the ITV show, with host Ben leading the tributes. Taking to his social media page today, the television presenter said: "Since we recorded today’s Tipping Point, Rav’s family have shared the sad news of his passing."
He added: "I loved playing alongside him, and along with all the Tipping Point team we are sending his family and friends all our love." Viewers immediately took to Twitter to share their condolences after hearing about the sad news.
One person said: "No way, I’m watching at the minute willing him to win." Another viewer wrote on Twitter: "Aww how sad." A fourth person added: "RIP so sad for is family and friends," "Rip Rav." Another chimed: "Very sad. RIP Sir."
Comedian Hasan Minhaj, who hosted the Peabody-winning Netflix talk show Patriot Act, was clearly super excited to be playing Celebrity Jeopardy! on Sunday, October 30, but not everyone was on board with his enthusiasm.
Minhaj was trying to keep things fun and upbeat, reacting to categories and answers in an exaggerated manner and adopting a braggadocious playstyle. While the show’s host Mayim Bialik humored the former Daily Show correspondent, many viewers watching at home quickly grew tired of his over-the-top antics.
“This guy is honestly one of the most annoying, obnoxious human beings I’ve ever seen, and Alex [Trebek] would be so ashamed,” wrote one Twitter user, while another added, “I had to stop watching. He was driving me nuts – so annoying!!”
“He actually sucked the life out of this episode,” tweeted another viewer. “Can’t someone there tell these celebs this isn’t the place for one of their stand up bits? I’m not a purist, but this was annoying af & I’m happy he won’t be back.”
You are the Twitchhead of the month for November of 2022. You get an imaginary plaque to hang on the wall, bragging rights and what else, Colbi King?

York Elementary fifth graders put their senses to the test on Monday at their fourth annual “Name! That! Matter!” game show. Two students at a time were blindfolded and given a gross object to touch and at times, smell. Based on what they feel and the clues their fellow classmates give, the students have to “Name that matter.”
Fifth grade teacher Amy Davis said it is a great way to celebrate the ending of Properties of Matter science unit and practice describing matter using only their physical properties. She said it was “also a great excuse to let the kids get messy and have fun with it.”
Some objects were slimy and others were sticky. There were objects that were scaly and objects that were furry. Putting their hands in pumpkin guts and touching a cow tongue may not have been on any of the fifth graders’ bucket lists, but it is spooky season and there were a couple of jumps from those in the hotspot.
