Marvin Achi was set to compete in the 24th season of CBS' "Big Brother," premiering Wednesday night, before the network announced late Tuesday that he was being replaced by Joseph, a 24-year-old lawyer from Lake Worth, Florida. The announcement was made on the official "Big Brother" Twitter account with no reason given as to the last-minute casting swap. Representatives for "Big Brother" did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
BIG BROTHER announced today the 16 new Houseguests who will embark on the 24th season of the series when they move into the mid-century Palm Springs inspired "BB Motel" during the live 90-minute premiere event Wednesday, July 6 (8:00-9:30 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The show will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+, where fans will also be able to watch the exclusive 24/7 live feed throughout the season.
This season's cast includes an attorney, a Vegas performer, a hypnotherapist, a private chef, a chemical processing engineer, an interior designer and a personal stylist, among others. With never-before-seen challenges, these 16 Houseguests are in for the summer of their lives at "BB Fest." Also, a new twist will send the Houseguests scrambling, and, beginning on premiere night, the opportunity for America to vote will impact the game.
In the latest TV ratings, CBS' Big Brother opened Season 24 with 3.7 million total viewers and a 0.8 demo rating, down 12 and 27 percent from last summer's premiere but still leading Wednesday on both counts.
Leading out of BB, The Challenge: USA debuted to 2.2 mil and a 0.4, up 18 percent in audience from Love Island's year-ago season opener on CBS and up 233 percent from The Challenge's comparable MTV premiere last summer.

Do not leave out just yet......
New channels are coming to Pluto TV. So excited, but so upset that there is a commercial. So watch.
(fade to break)
Free streaming service Pluto TV has re-organized its linear streams, launching fresh channels on the streamer and moving others to different categories.
On Monday, Pluto TV said it would add five new categories to the free streamer, including one dedicated to game shows that will eventually include 24/7 feeds of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, both distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
All told, Pluto TV will offer more than a dozen categories of linear channels, including News & Opinion, Daytime TV, Food, Movies and Comedy. It also offers categories for children's programming and content in Spanish. Launching as part of the refresh is a new channel dedicated to "Let's Make A Deal," the CBS game show hosted by comedian Wayne Brady (CBS and Pluto TV are both owned by Paramount Global; Pluto TV operates as a semi-autonomous unit within the company).
Judge Judy is also getting a channel of her own, with the Judge Judy Channel incorporated in the new Daytime TV category alongside content streams of talk shows, other courtroom dramas and soap operas.
Streams for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! are slated to launch on August 1, a Pluto TV spokesperson said in a press release on Monday.
In a statement, a Pluto TV executive said the changes were in response to viewer habits and requests.
"Not only is this expansion driven by viewing habits we can see, we spoke directly to our audience to gain feedback on suggested changes before they were made," Scott Reich, a senior executive in charge of programming at Pluto TV, said on Monday. "Everything we do puts the audience first and this optimization is the latest step to maintain our market leadership in partnership with our audience."

Another NBC show apparently bites the dust. Million Dollar Island, a Survivor-esque reality show, is reportedly not moving forward at the network.
The series was first announced back in March.
On Twitter, Joe Adalian, an editor for Vulture, reported that NBC had effectively canceled Million Dollar Island before it could even get started.
They described the show, which was based on a Dutch format, as "supersized Survivor" meets Squid Game. It would have involved 100 contestants being placed on an island, with one walking away with the grand prize.
Unfortunately, fans won't get the chance to see the show in action, as Adalian reported that "it's not moving forward at NBC."
Back in March, NBC shed some insight on the show and shared that it would involve contestants spending 50 days on a remote island, per The Hollywood Reporter. In the end, one of the contestants would walk away with the $1 million prize for their efforts. The official description stated that it will involve 100 contestants who "must forge friendships and build alliances as they plot to stay on a remote desert island for up to 50 days and compete to win their share of the ultimate $1 million prize. Upon arrival, each contestant is given a bracelet worth $10,000. During their time on the island, contestants gain and lose bracelets through various challenges, but when a player leaves the island, they must choose who will receive their portion of the money. In this intense competition, the strength of your personal bonds are just as important as being the ultimate player."
When the show was first announced, Jenny Groom, Executive VP of alternative programming and development, released a statement in which she expressed how much she was looking forward to the network's newest reality program. Her statement read, "We're excited to partner with a powerhouse team to bring this fresh and bold social experiment to NBC. This series is sure to entertain with ever-evolving alliances, trust, deceit and the ultimate will to survive."
John de Mol, founder and chairman of Talpa (the company that struck a deal with NBC to produce the series), added, "I've enjoyed great success with NBC on The Voice, so I'm delighted that they'll provide the perfect U.S home for this exciting new show."

In the latest TV show ratings, the premiere of ABC's Kelly Ripa-hosted Generation Gap quiz show delivered a very quiet Thursday's largest audience — 3.6 million total viewers — while tying its lead-in, Press Your Luck, for the nightly demo win.
Opening ABC's night, Press Your Luck's Season 4 premiere (3.4 mil/0.4) was nearly on par with its season 3 averages (3.2 mil/0.5).
Closing out ABC's night, the debut of 20/20's sleep-inducing The Fatal Flaw true crime-meets-dollhouses series frittered away its family-friendly lead-in, retaining just 2 mil and a 0.2.

Now we go to a Mistplay Game Break. A superhero movie is being turned away by a dyslexic movie theater sign worker and I want you to see it. No really, see it.
See what movie they got confused with after Jessica Lynn comes to the Spotify Soundstage. Here is an original she wrote but its acoustic. Take a Look at it.

Just a reminder..........
The most recent version of Pyramid has been on the Game Show Network schedule this week. While the others remain unchanged, America Says will still have new episodes for the time being. This means that Common Knowledge will be on at 1:30 am CDT. Either Winsanity or Divided should've replaced it and sticking with Winsanity, it's still on GetTV or any Free Ad Supporting service you can find.
