One of the most iconic game shows in television history, "Password" is coming to NBC primetime this summer. The series, which has in recent years found a new generation of fans on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress Keke Palmer and star of Jordan Peele's upcoming movie, "Nope."
Palmer will command the "Password" podium as contestants from all walks of life are partnered with Jimmy Fallon and other celebrities to face off in the ultimate game of words. Fallon will play in each of the eight hourlong episodes as the celebrity/contestant duos compete for cash prizes by guessing a secret password using only one-word clues.
The premiere episode will be dedicated to Betty White. Regularly playing on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," the iconic TV star has long been thought of as "Password's" greatest player. The season will then culminate with a special episode featuring a star-studded, all-celebrity lineup playing for charity.
The trailblazing series established itself as the original celebrity word game when it launched in 1961 and has showcased hundreds of celebrity guests and generated several spinoffs over the course of six decades. NBC revived the show in 1979 and 1984 prior to becoming a hit game on both "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "The Tonight Show." It was recently announced that Fallon's other hit primetime series, "That's My Jam," was renewed for a second season on NBC.
"Password" is produced by Fremantle in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio and Electric Hot Dog. Jimmy Fallon, Jim Juvonen, and Jennifer Mullin will serve as executive producers, along with John Quinn who will also serve as showrunner.

A big special shout out goes to...............
Ashley Fabian. She is a classically trained opera singer. If you don't believe that, then watch this.
(dries eyes with tissue paper)
But she's more than just giving the high notes what she wants, she is also known for saving your money wisely. Check this.
But this month, she tried out for a game show called Wheel of Fortune. Good thing she didn't want to go head-to-head-to-Head with 2 more whiz kids who know a lot about Wars and British History. She just decided to call out letters and earn money with the likes of Pat & Vanna. She joins me now via Microsoft Zune, Ashley, thanks for joining us, we at Game Show Live! saw your performance and thought that could go a long way in your career, but tell us please, how did you get on the show?
Good stuff, thanks Ashley and keep on singing.
Little known fact: She was on the very first season of Chain Reaction under Dylan Lane's return. So hats off to you, Ashley. If the metropolitan Opera needs you, you'll get there. Someday.

Embassy Row's Michael Davies has been executive producing Jeopardy! on an interim basis since the departure of Mike Richards last year. He has now taken on the job full-time.
Davies revealed the news in a blog post on the Jeopardy! website.
"Jeopardy! has a massive opportunity to build further and, far from being threatened by the massive changes in the media landscape, we can take advantage of the emergence of new platforms and bring more Jeopardy! to more audiences. There is just so much more we can do together. So, although I never imagined I'd be writing this… Today, I am delighted to announce that I have accepted Sony's offer to become the show's full time Executive Producer," he wrote.
Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will continue to share hosting duties through the end of the venerable syndicated game show's current Season 38. New episodes of Jeopardy! are scheduled to air until July 29, 2022.

Talented and ambitious sous chefs step into the Chopped Kitchen for a chance at securing a life-changing opportunity in the new five-part tournament, Chopped: Desperately Seeking Sous Chef, premiering Tuesday, May 31st at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. Hosted by the venerable Ted Allen, each episode of the tournament features four chefs showcasing their culinary skills over three rounds - appetizer, entrée, and dessert - as they are challenged to utilize the mystery basket of ingredients and create breathtaking dishes to impress judges Maneet Chauhan, Scott Conant and Chris Santos. The judges are critiquing the chefs' cooking skills along with their attitude, leadership, and ability to multitask to determine who has what it takes to make it to the finale for a chance at winning the title of grand champion and a job offer by Scott, Maneet or Chris to join their restaurants as a sous chef.
Never have the Chopped judges had so much to lose and the chefs so much to gain. To succeed, the 16 chefs must have the stamina and strength to handle the pressure of the most prominent kitchens in America with just one chance to prove they are worthy of this opportunity. After the final elimination, the victorious chef gets to choose which enticing path to take from either Scott, Maneet and Chris. There hasn't been a moment like this in Chopped history, with every part of the competition being the toughest job interview of these chefs' lives.
"Chopped continues to push the boundaries with its competition format, with viewers tuning in each week for its compelling challenges, expert critique and pulse-racing entertainment," said Courtney White, President, Food Network and Streaming Food Content, Discovery Inc. "The winner walking away with a life-altering opportunity from Chris, Maneet or Scott, all titans in their industry, is the ultimate Chopped prize."
