Aww. Cute. But we're sailing to this......
The Double Toasted opening toss up story.
We'll see a lot of big changes in the new season of Survivor (which premieres Sept. 22 on CBS). For one thing, the game will be only 26 days long as opposed to 39. Viewers can also partake in a separate game within a game at home. And, thanks to Mike White, some sort of monster will be on the loose. But there is one other big change for season 41 of the show. It is being called Survivor 41. That marks the first time a Survivor season number has been in its title. What's with the change?
We asked Jeff Probst. "As you know from our talks during Winners at War, we always envisioned our 40th season as the end of an era of Survivor," the show's host says.
And the new era meant a new approach towards titling the seasons. "From a game standpoint, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get away from seasons that were built around a casting theme or a major twist," says Probst. "That led to an easy decision to also do away with titles and just go with numbers for each season."
The series is also available to stream live and on demand on the CBS app and Paramount+.
As TV's preeminent reality series for 20 years, SURVIVOR 41 begins a bold new era this fall with the introduction of exciting fresh elements to the competition, which promise to intensify the battle for $1 million and the title of Sole Survivor. As the thrilling competition begins on the beautiful islands of Fiji, 18 determined castaways will be divided into three tribes of six to face a faster, more intense and more dangerous season than ever before. The unpredictable, accelerated pace will test even the strongest super-fan, as supplies are minimal, reward challenges are scarce, and players find themselves faced with advantages that could significantly help their game or, just as easily, extinguish their torch.
"I cannot remember a time when I've been this excited to launch a new season of SURVIVOR," said executive producer and host Jeff Probst. "SURVIVOR 41 features a really likable group of savvy SURVIVOR players, and they are in for the most intense, most difficult and most dangerous season we've ever done. We know we have the most loyal fans of any show on television, and we are pumped to bring them a new, exciting season of SURVIVOR!"
For the first time, host Jeff Probst will also take viewers inside the action, addressing the audience directly throughout the season, even letting fans in on some twists before the players are made aware. In addition, junior fans can test their own SURVIVOR skills by playing the new "Game within the Game." Each week, they'll have to spot a hidden rebus puzzle within the episode and then solve it.
The individuals competing on season 41 are from diverse backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay and outlast, and in the end only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor.

Depressing.....but cool. Now we find out who's walking the plank. It's the Yay & yawn of September.
The Yay: Whew! Buzzr brought back the charge & block battle in just 41 years with a bonus game that had CBS' daytime ceiling at the time.
The Yawn: Mike Richards. The first week of the new season, J! was the host......for just 1 week, so GSN, Sony's partner decided to yank The Pyramid 2012 out of the 7 am timeslot leaving Divided on the graveyard time slot.

Former Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron is hosting a new take on Tic-Tac-Dough that is in the works at NBCUniversal.
The ex-Hollywood Squares man has teamed up with former Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! exec producer Harry Friedman and Village Roadshow Television on the project, which is being piloted at the company, sources told Deadline.
NBCUniversal is producing with Friedman and Village Roadshow TV as exec producers. It reunites Friedman and Village Roadshow Entertainment Group CEO Steve Mosko, who worked closely together during their time at Sony Pictures Television.
Based on the classic tic-tac-toe game, Tic-Tac-Dough sees contestants answering questions in various categories in order to put an X or an O on the board.
The series had a number of different incarnations; it began on NBC from 1956-59 with both a daytime and primetime version before moving to CBS for a daytime run 1978, followed by a syndicated run through 1986. A second syndicated series was also produced in 1990.
It originally was produced by Barry & Enright Productions, the company run by Jack Barry and Dan Enright.
Bergeron, who hosted ABC dancing competition Dancing with the Stars from 2005-19, has been teasing his return to television for a few months and filmed the pilot over the summer. It is the first project for Friedman since he retired as EP of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! in May 2020.
Tic-Tac-Dough is the latest non-scripted television project for Village Roadshow Television, which produces Capital One College Bowl, hosted by Peyton and Cooper Manning, for NBC. The company’s unscripted push is being led by Shannon Hawes Perry, EVP Reality & Production Services; Alix Jaffe, EVP Television; and Mosko..

American Gladiators, the classic competition series that originally premiered in 1989, is taking another shot at the obstacle course.
Deadline reports that MGM has teamed with WWE for a reimagined version of the non-scripted series that will feature a slew of WWE wrestling superstars. Mark Burnett and his team are currently pitching the rebooted series, which is based on the format created by Johnny Ferraro and Dan Carr, to broadcasters and platforms.
It seems like good timing for the Hollywood studio and Vince McMahon’s wrestling federation given the success of physical competition series in the non-scripted space from American Ninja Warrior to Floor Is Lava and Holey Moley, as well as the growing focus on WWE with Netflix’s interactive film Escape the Undertaker and a documentary series about McMahon from Bill Simmons as well as Blumhouse TV scripted series The United States of America Vs. Vince McMahon in the works.

After this story, put your clothes on.
Discovery+ has ordered a second helping of Naked And Afraid Of Love, the romance-focused spinoff of the Discovery channel hit Naked and Afraid.
The competition series, which premiered on Discorvery+ on Sunday, August 22, follows 16 naked strangers ready to find love as they strip down and bare it all in the ultimate challenge that blends survival, romance and everything in between. New episodes drop Sunday, culminating in the reunion hosted by Naked and Afraid vet Jake Nodar on November 7th.
The current season is set in the Philippine islands, with 8 men and 8 women are physically and emotionally vulnerable and forced to depend on each other. From a sexually fluid Army veteran who’s known for his ‘take charge’ attitude and a PhD student from Honolulu who’s tired of her fixer-upper relationships, to a high school teacher looking for a ring on ‘that’ finger and a San Diego surf instructor who’s ready to spear fish, fend off wildlife and ride through this journey like the perfect wave, these stripped down singles each bring their own unique backgrounds, and relationship experiences to the table..

NBCUniversal and the BBC are searching for the next wave of unscripted after striking a transatlantic partnership.
The U.S. media group, which operates broadcast network NBC, a slew of cable networks and streamer Peacock, and the British public broadcaster have teamed up to find unscripted shows that can work both in the States and UK. The pair will hunt for shows produced by British producers across unscripted genres and will look to co-commission pilots or develop projects with series potential. They have agreed terms for producers, based on the BBC’s existing terms, which will be a boon for producers as the BBC has much more favorable terms that U.S. networks. Diversity will also be a key part of the decision-making process.
NBC has also remade a number of BBC formats including The Wheel and The Weakest Link, while the BBC has remade NBC’s The Wall.

'Blankety Blank' has signed up 18 stars from 'Strictly Come Dancing' for its new series.
The British version of "Match Game" will be back in the 9pm Saturday night primetime slot on BBC One, with The Chase's Bradley Walsh taking on hosting duties and there will be a plethora of ballroom stars on board too.
Show host Tess Daly, professional dancer Janette Manrara, judge Craig Revel Horwood, and this year's contestant, 'Loose Women' star Judi Love, will all be appearing. The 'Strictly' connection continues with former show contestants Brian Conley, Alex Jones, Chizzy Akudolu, Gregg Wallace, Gloria Hunniford, Judy Murray, Louis Smith, Karim Zeroual, Mark Wright, Melvin Odoom, Ore Oduba, Rachel Riley, Peter Andre and Sophie Ellis-Bextor all set to appear.
The original 'Blankety Blank' ran from 1979 until 1990 on the BBC, hosted by Sir Terry Wogan until 1983 and then by Les Dawson from 1984 until 1990 when it was cancelled. The show was brought back in 2001 with Paul O'Grady as Lily Savage hosting for a year. In 2016, ITV produced a one off Christmas special which saw David Walliams host and last year the BBC did their own one-off festive special which saw Bradley hosting for the first time.
Speaking earlier this year, Bradley, 61, felt honored to be a 'Blankety Blank' host. He said: "I struggle to remember the last time I laughed as much as when I was filming 'Blankety Blank'.
"So when they asked if I'd be up for doing a series, I jumped at the chance, I'm just so pleased I get to be a part of it. "I stand on the shoulders of giants like Les Dawson and Sir Terry Wogan but I'm hoping to put my own stamp on the fantastically nostalgic show."

Nice but Go Titans!
Answer is........Anne Bonney.
Bonny was born in Ireland around 1700 and moved to London and then to the Province of Carolina when she was about 10 years old.[5] She then married around 1715 and moved to Nassau in the Bahamas, a sanctuary for pirates. It was there that she met Calico Jack Rackham and became his pirate partner and lover. She was captured alongside Rackham and Mary Read in October 1720. All three were sentenced to death, but Bonny and Read had their executions stayed because both of them were pregnant. Read died of a fever in jail in April 1721 (likely due to complications from the pregnancy), but Bonny's fate is unknown.
