In all of its years Wheel of Fortune has done in syndication,  one person won a house. Yes, a house. Somewhere in Margaritaville. This is the first time in the show's storied history have they ever given away a house.

Laura Trammell, who is a sixth-grade teacher from Mission Viejo, won the historic prize on Tuesday's episode. After solving the puzzle, "I caught a glimpse," host Pat Sajak announced: "She caught a glimpse of her new home," revealing the prize on the envelope he was holding.

And here's that historical moment.

WTG Laura.  Hope you'll enjoy it here.

Niecy Nash will host a revival of the game show “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” at Fox next season, the network announced Wednesday.

The game show, which originally ran on Fox for two seasons between 2007 and 2009 and in syndication for another, challenges contestants to recall the lyrics to 10 songs from a variety of genres, eras and musical artists for a $1 million prize. The revival will debut on the network during the 2021-22 TV season.

The new role keeps Nash in the fold at Fox, where she recently guest-hosted the first few episodes of “The Masked Singer” Season 5 after regular host Nick Cannon tested positive for COVID-19.

The original iteration of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” was hosted by Wayne Brady and later by Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath. It was created by Jeff Apploff, who also produces “Beat Shazam,” “Mental Samurai” and “Game of Talents” at Fox. The revival is produced by Apploff Entertainment and Bunim/Murray Productions. Apploff, Rupert Dobson and Nash serve as executive producers.

“Whether it’s tapping a toe to keep rhythm, humming a melody or outright singing along, music is one thing that is universally appealing. ‘Don’t Forget the Lyrics’ wraps everything about why people love, enjoy and treasure music into one big, fun, high-energy and high-stakes show,” Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and specials at FOX Entertainment, said. “Niecy Nash is one of the most talented, beloved and spirited people in the business. She’s been a dear friend to FOX for many years, most recently on THE MASKED SINGER, and we are so happy to keep her on our air next season with ‘Don’t Forget the Lyrics.'”

“I’m so excited to be part of the DFTL family,” Nash added. “I love music and I’m happy to be involved in a show that gives people an opportunity to win life-changing amounts of money.” “‘Don’t Forget the Lyrics’ has been my baby ever since it originally premiered in 2007,” Apploff, show creator and executive producer, said. “Not only was it a hit on FOX, but we also sold the show in over 20 countries around the world. The time is perfect to make it even bigger and better! We are so thankful to bring back this amazingly fun and entertaining show with the incredible Niecy Nash at the helm.”

Here's part 3 of Getting back in Disneyland Shape.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blankety Blank, the iconic gameshow which sees celebrities helping contestants by filling in the missing blanks, will return to Saturday nights on BBC One for a brand-new series following the Christmas Special that aired in 2020.

Made by Thames, a Fremantle label, Blankety Blank - the British version of "Match Game" - will return for a ten-part series as each episode sees a panel of six celebrities try to fill in the missing blanks over a series of rounds and help win some brilliant prizes for contestants.

“I struggle to remember the last time I laughed as much as when I was filming Blankety Blank – so when they asked if I’d be up for doing a series, I jumped at the chance, I’m just so pleased I get to be a part of it," says host Bradley Walsh. "I stand on the shoulders of giants like Les Dawson and Sir Terry Wogan but I’m hoping to put my own stamp on the fantastically nostalgic show."

And now for a race you all wanted to see.

Seven winning alumni teams from The Great Food Truck Race are back for an action-packed culinary journey to decide once and for all which truck is the ultimate champion in The Great Food Truck Race: All-Stars, premiering Sunday, June 6th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network and streaming the same day on discovery+.

Hosted by Tyler Florence and shot on-location in the food mecca of San Francisco and the Bay Area, each team must prove their cooking chops, marketing savvy and selling skills to stay in the game.

Kicking off at Fisherman's Wharf with a bread bowl battle, the route then hits Napa Valley's famed wineries for a grape-stomping challenge, the Redwoods for a foraging adventure, Ocean Beach for a seaside bites competition and a hoop shooting contest at the home arena of the Golden State Warriors, ultimately ending in Chinatown where only one team is awarded $50,000 and named all-time champion of The Great Food Truck Race.

"California is where the food truck trend first exploded and we are excited to bring these fan-favorite teams back to where it all began for this fierce culinary race," said Courtney White, President, Food Network and Cooking Channel. "An unexpected moment is just around the corner every week and the non-stop action is sure to keep our viewers on the edge of their seat."

The all-star trucks competing are:
- Aloha Plate - Lanai City, Hawaii (Lanai Tabura, Adam Tabura, Shawn Felipe)
- The Lime Truck - Irvine, California (Daniel Shemtob, Jesse Brockman, Mark Esposito)
- The Middle Feast - Los Angeles, California (Tommy Marudi, Daniella Marudi, Gabriel Villagrana)
- Mystikka Masala - Santa Monica, California (Andrew Pettke, Navin Hariprasad, Doug Long)
- NOLA Creations - Shreveport, Louisiana (Darrell Johnson, Aunna Johnson, Terrell Gaskin)

Red Arrow Studios International and Japanese commercial broadcaster TV Asahi have announced a new co-development partnership, which will see the two companies work closely together to develop new entertainment formats for the international market.

The first project in development is Crazy Elevator (w/t), a new gameshow in which players try to reach the top of a tower to claim the treasure that awaits them. However, each floor presents a different hilarious challenge they must successfully complete and make it back inside the elevator before the doors close!

Motoko Nakai, Director of International Business Department at TV Asahi Corporation, said: “We are excited to be working with the talented team at Red Arrow Studios International. TV Asahi pioneered family gameshows in Japan and we’re confident this partnership will take our creativity to the next level. We look forward to working closely with Red Arrow Studios International and entertaining the international audience with our fresh and fun-loving concepts.”

David Barber, VP Format Development & Production at Red Arrow Studios International, added: “I’m delighted to be working with the talented, forward-thinking team at TV Asahi. We are currently hard at work developing our first project, Crazy Elevator (w/t). It’s a high-concept project with state of the art technology, but despite this, there’s nothing more hilarious than watching players spin around a baseball bat and get so dizzy they crash into the wall rather than make it back through the elevator doors!”

TV Asahi will distribute the format in Asia, while Red Arrow Studios International will handle distribution rights for the rest of the world..

Buzz-GSN where we ask you guys on the Game Show Network Facebook page anything and everything.

https://youtu.be/yj0iG5UN2-E

Getting things started, Sandra Queen.

I saw that Game Skow Network had People Puzzler on so I turned it over to watch. First Leah Remini has way to much botox in her lips. Second, for every 4 minutes of the show, they played 8-10 commercials. I could not believe the commercials so I watched it again (two shows in a row) to see if just a one-time thing but nope same way on the next show.

Well, I believe she did look younger with Botox and also, those commercials mean more money for the network. Up next, Irene Prekeges.

Thank you for bringing back Chain Reaction.
For so many reasons:
1. Enjoyable to play along
2. Dylan is entertaining, funny, *just* snarky enough, and easy to listen to
3. Imply what you want about the previous host in that time slot who is none of those
Thank you!

Isn't that nice. Moving along, Jo Dean Winsett COunts.

What a much better network this would be if only you would stop showing Joe Namath and botoxed Marie Osmond every few minutes.

Uh......don't they work for GSN? We go ahead to Bill Jones.

Request, when the host/audience answers the final missing words, DON'T pan the camera out to view the board and contestants. Hard to see the missing answers.
Please!

Is that what you're going for? Maybe Jacky Hilling might change your mind.

Watching People Puzzler and a contestant just said that she didn't know who Ricky Ricardo is ... it made me laugh when Leah Remini remarked about the contestant making her feel old... I feel that way whenever someone on that show acts like we should all be Next Geners... so funny ... people of all generations watch tv ... LOL ... Leah we love you and keep your sense of humor ...those contestants will one day be little old ladies and men... if they should be so lucky ...

Why can't millenials remember classic TV that they grew up? Let's end it with Geralynn Powell.

People Puzzler looks like a good show, but I just can't watch it, the host is just so stiff/over botoxed that it's freakish.

Guess GSN wanted Leah to make her star get paid.

(song stops)

Now we move ahead to a Mistplay Game Break. I'll give you a screenshot of a question and 4 possible answers are revealed. Ready?

https://youtu.be/SR3WGKf4IEM

To what show does it belong to? Think about that after we get to the final part of getting Back in Disneyland Shape.

And your brain got in shape for the answer:

Yep. The cartoon on ABC from the 1980's. I remember it too.

From a Los Angeles apartment......somewhere, it's time to Press.....With....Jess! This is where Jessica Davis breaks down what went down.....in the Brackit compound.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I's hard to believe why Lingo in 2011 was.......different. Instead of CHuck Woolery, they got Bill Engvall. The top prize is 100,000 and to make matters worse, clues to secret words were added when their turn is up. But if you were watching back in 2011, you knew it was TV-14. Why? Because it was too naughty for daytime television, but the writers had a bit of a dirty mind, so it might've lead to a something that made sense. Although it only ran for one season and reruns recently on Game Show Central channel, teh Woolery version was what it all about. No clues, co hosts starting from Season 3,  including Shandi, and the same gameplay we remember when it first premiered in 1987. And that's what made the Dutch import a big hit. The 2011 version.......not so M-U-C-H-O.

Closing Theme

That's it for this week. Today's consolation prizr is a pinata full of candy and a baseball bat. And to go along with it, MLB Player Kolten Wong in a blindfold to swing it for you. As long as he's busy this season.
