Hot topics. Cool concept. Lukewarm writing. Game Show Live! is on.......now!

Colbi King: From coast to coast and around the world, welcome to....

Now, America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!

Me:Welcome everybody to Game Show Live! where we get lit and get involved. Let's kick it off with......

The Double Toasted opening toss up story.

Welp, it finally happened.

Hit game show “Jeopardy!” has finally revealed its last group of guests hosts for Season 37.

The hosting gig was left vacant last year when the beloved host who was synonymous with the gameshow, Alex Trebek, died of cancer. Since his death, a roster of celebrity hosts and some past “Jeopardy!” champs have filled Trebek’s very large shoes, including Ken Jennings, Katie Couric, Dr. Oz and Aaron Rodgers.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper is currently guest hosting through April 30.

The show has already announced hosts for dozens of episodes through July 9, including “The Big Bang Theory” star Mayim Bialik and TODAY Show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. But now fans have even more guests hosts to look forward to!

Here are the celebrities coming to the show and when their episodes will air:
* “Good Morning America” co-anchor George Stephanopoulos: July 12-16, 2021
* “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts: July 19-23, 2021
* Actor, former host of “Reading Rainbow” LeVar Burton: July 26-30, 2021
* CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” co-host David Faber: August 2-6, 2021
* Fox sportscaster Joe Buck: August 9-13, 2021

Thousands of people have been pushing to make Burton the permanent host of the popular game show. A petition on Change.org has more than 246,000 signatures as of Wednesday afternoon, urging producers to give the former “Reading Rainbow” host the top job at “Jeopardy!” Burton supports the petition, tweeting the link, and it even grabbed the attention of “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.

The show has not made any indications about who could become the next full-time host. You can see the full rundown of “Jeopardy!” guest hosts on the show’s website.

TBS announced today that an American version of the "The Cube," will premiere on Thursday, June 10 at 9 PM ET/PT.

Based on the UK megahit and hosted by NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade, this high-octane series spotlights contestant pairs who must demonstrate skill, nerve and determination as they endure seemingly simple physical and mental tasks - all while confined in 'The Cube,' an intimidating glass box with its own mind and attitude, in the hope of winning a major cash prize. Working on their own or as a team, each pair has nine lives to complete seven games that are worth an increasing amount of money as they inch closer to taking home the $250,000 jackpot.

"The Cube" features new challenges in every episode to keep the teams on their feet and allow host and executive producer Dwyane to show his own skills. Each team can bring Dwyane in to take "One Shot," a call-to-action where our NBA champion enters "The Cube" to lend his athletic prowess and compete on their behalf for one attempt only. Additionally, the series launches with the latest augmented reality GFX and camera technology. "The Cube" is created by Objective Media Group America, an All3Media America company for TBS. The series is executive produced by Dwyane Wade and his production company, 59th & Prairie Entertainment, as well as Layla Smith and Jilly Pearce for Objective Media Group with showrunner Glenn Coomber.

Dwyane Wade played in the NBA from 2003 to 2019, primarily for the Miami Heat. He was selected as an NBA All-Star thirteen times, won three NBA championships, and was named the 2006 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. He is the Heat's all-time leader in points, games, assists, and steals and the NBA's all-time leader for blocks by a guard. Wade recently joined the Utah Jazz ownership group. Wade's partnerships include Li-Ning, Hisense, MISSION, Budweiser, BallerTV, Wade Cellars, Mars Reel, Spades Royale, and 800° Woodfired Kitchen. Through his partnership with WarnerMedia, he serves as a regular analyst for TNT's Tuesday night NBA studio coverage and is a creative director for Bleacher Report. He is a board of trustee member for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Founder of 59th & Prairie Entertainment, he is an executive producer of D. Wade: Life Unexpected, the Sports Emmy-nominated documentary Shot in the Dark, the Oscar-winning animated short Hair Love, and the upcoming docuseries Legacy. He is the New York Times bestselling author of A Father First and cofounded the Social Change Fund to invest in and support organizations focused on empowering communities of color and advocating for the human rights of all Black lives.

Is your television series based on a classic board game? NBC’s unscripted adaptation of Guess Who? is.

Deadline reports that the adaptation, which comes from Endemol Shine North America and Hasbro’s eOne, has landed at the broadcast network and is in the early stages of development.

The project has been in the works with the Lego Masters producer and the production arm of the toy giant since 2019 and recently got on the board at NBC.

In each episode, contestants make snap judgements based on intuition and clues in an effort to win cash prizes. In the original guessing game, each Guess Who? player chooses a mystery character and then, using yes-or-no questions, tries to figure out the other player’s mystery character. When they think they know who their opponent’s mystery character is, players make a guess. If the guess is wrong, that player loses the game. Players also can challenge opponents to a series of games in the Championship Series, where the first player to win five games is the Guess Who? champion.

Guess Who? is one of Hasbro’s most popular games of all time; it was launched in 1979 and is sold in more than 28 countries around the world. It sells, on average, around 2 million units a year globally.

Guess Who? is one of a number of board game unscripted adaptations in the works. Fremantle and Mattel are working on a TV version of Whac-A-Mole and Propagate is working with Mattel on a gameshow based on Uno, while Hasbro-owned eOne is also working on its own slate of shows.

Remember the old show Dream House? Well........

Wheel of Fortune is giving people a chance to win more than just cash.

While contestants test their brains by solving puzzles during the weekly broadcasts, viewers tuning in from home will have the chance to score a major prize of their own, as the long-running game show is officially bringing back its Home Sweet Home Giveaway.

On Monday, Wheel of Fortune confirmed it has again teamed up with Minto Communities and Margaritaville to give away a new home valued at $350,000 in the Latitude Margaritaville Florida community, a 55-and-up community for adults. In a video teasing the contest and featuring Jimmy Buffet, the game show said they have "your keys to a life in paradise," announcing that the show is "giving away another home” to one lucky viewer." The contest begins on Monday, April 26.

To enter the 2021 Home Sweet Home Giveaway, simply "sit back, relax and watch" Wheel of Fortune during the week of Monday, April 26 through Friday, April 30. While watching, keep your eyes out and write down the nightly Bonus Round Puzzle Solution. You will then need to sign up for the Wheel Watchers Club, which you can do by clicking here, and enter the Bonus Round Puzzle Solution after each show airs. You can give yourself a better chance at scoring the grand prize by entering all five nights, which will double your entries.

For more chances to win, according to the game show, "come back and enter each night of the giveaway between 3:00 p.m. PT and 2:59 p.m. PT the next day." The grand prize winner will win a home valued at $350,000. They will have their choice between three Latitude Margaritaville communities located Watersound or Daytona Beach, Florida or Hilton Head, South Carolina. For those under the age of 55, you can still enter the competition and win a Minto Communities home in the Westlake community in Westlake, Florida. Grand prize winners will also have the option to receive a cash prize of $150,000 instead of a home. There will also be other chances for prizes, including a Margaritaville Adirondack chair.

The Wheel of Fortune Home Sweet Home Giveaway began in 2018.
