That's right folks, summer just got a little more naughty with game shows. ANd we start with the TIffany Network.

ABC has unveiled its summer unscripted schedule and it looks like things are back to normal after last year’s Covid interruption.

The Disney-owned network has renewed gameshows including The Chase and The Hustler and has confirmed that Bachelor in Paradise will return this summer after missing out in 2020. Chris Harrison's involvement in the show remains TBD.

The network’s slate of classic gameshow reboots such as Celebrity Family Feud, To Tell the Truth, Press Your Luck, The $100,000 Pyramid and Card Sharks are also back alongside new shows The Celebrity Dating Game, hosted by Zooey Deschanel and Michael Bolton, and The Ultimate Surfer. The Bachelorette, which ABC revealed recently will have two iterations, this year, is also set on the schedule for June with Katie Thurston kicking off proceedings.

Rob Mills, EVP, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, Walt Disney Television, told Deadline that he was thrilled to be able to get so many shows on this summer. “The year before the pandemic, we had made a play to really program summer like we programmed the rest of the year and have original programming on almost every night. Then things kind of got slowed down with the pandemic and we had to pull some of our shows last summer. Now the fact that we can produce all these shows and we’re going to have new original programming on almost the entire summer, it feels great.”

The Chase, an adaptation of the British gameshow from ITV Entertainment, is back with a second season. The show launched in January with nine episodes and Deadline reports that the second season has received a supersized order. This comes after the producers and the WGA settled their dispute which had led to a writers’ strike. “The Chase is one of those ones we wanted to get back on as soon as possible because we really want the momentum of that format to keep going,” said Mills. “Hopefully you’ll see million dollar final chases in this second cycle. But we really are high on that format. We’re excited with how it did this winter and we’re glad we can bring it back so quickly.”

Similarly, The Hustler, hosted by Craig Ferguson and based on an idea from Richard Bacon, is back after its launch in January. The show, which is produced by Studio Lambert, follows five contestants as they collaborate to answer a series of 10 trivia questions worth $10,000 each, with the goal of building a collective prize pot that increases with each correct answer but there’s a twist.

“Outside of things like Holey Moley, we’re known for our reboots of old franchises,” said Mills. “So, it was really exciting that Steven Lambert came in with something that felt kind of wholly original and something that we could make new and make work.”

Holey Moley is back this summer with one of its two season order.

The lineup...
- June 6: Celebrity Family Feud (season 7, 6p), The Chase (season 2, 9p), To Tell the Truth (season 6, 10p)
- June 7: The Bachelorette (season 15, 8p)
- June 9: Press Your Luck (season 3, 8p), The $100,000 Pyramid (season 4, 9p), Card Sharks (season 3, 10p)
- June 14: The Celebrity Dating Game (10p)
- June 17: Holey Moley 3D in 2D (season 3, 9p), The Hustler (season 2, 10p)
- August 16: Bachelor in Paradise (season 5, 8p), The Ultimate Surfer (10p)

And we also got the Fox Network too.

Fox has unveiled its summer schedule, setting premiere dates for Rob Lowe-hosted Mental Samurai (May 25), Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns (May 31), Season 2 of Lego Masters with Will Arnett (June 1), Masterchef: Legends (June 2) and Season 4 of Beat Shazam (June 3), hosted by Jamie Foxx.

They join previously announced dates for new baking competition series Crime Scene Kitchen hosted by Joel McHale, which premieres May 26, animated comedy Housebroken and the second season time-period premiere of Duncanville (May 31).

A reboot of the classic drama Fantasy Island will premiere this August. Additional details to be announced.

Mental Samurai, hosted by Lowe, will have a special two-hour Season 2 premiere on Tuesday, May 25 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), before making its time-period premiere on Tuesday, June 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

Chef Gordon Ramsay is back for hit culinary competition Hell’s Kitchen‘s landmark 20th season on May 31 at 8 PM ET/PT. In Hell’s Kitchen: Young Guns, Ramsay is back in Las Vegas, home to five of Ramsay’s restaurants.

The lineup...
- May 25: Mental Samurai (season 2, 8p)
- May 26: Crime Scene Kitchen (9p)
- May 31: Hell's Kitchen Young Guns (season 20, 8p)
- June 1: LEGO Masters (season 2, 8p)
- June 2: MasterChef: Legends (season 11, 8p)
- June 3: Beat Shazam (season 4, 8p)

We'll have more of it as it develops.

Tenable is getting a new host, former Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay.

The ITV daytime quiz show is usually hosted by Warwick Davis, but Sally will step in to host some episodes.

When will Sally Lindsay start hosting Tenable and why is Warwick taking a break?

Sally, who is currently appearing in Channel 5 drama Intruder, will be seen in Tenable from Monday April 12 and will host 25 episodes of the show.

Upon signing up for hosting duties, Sally revealed she reached out to Warwick for some advice. “He said just be in tune with the people, it is the public who make this show what it is,” Sally said.

The 47-year-old actress also revealed why Warwick is now sharing the presenting role with Sally. “I’m a huge fan of Tenable and am delighted I’m able to share the presenting responsibilities with Warwick,” she said. “The demands of his workload meant that he wasn’t able to record every show in the series.”

Do you want some cake?

Shortly ahead of MIPTV, Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) picked up the right to develop and produce Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV's hit gameshow format Sokkuri Sweets.

WBITVP has acquired exclusive rights to produce a local version of Sokkuri Sweets in the Netherlands, and WBITVP’s production company BlazHoffski has already started production on the adaptation. The Dutch version will be called Showcolade and will air on NPO1, the top-rated public broadcast channel in the Netherlands. Showcolade will begin broadcast ever Sunday in prime-time beginning April 18.

The Sokkuri Sweets format was famously acquired in the U.S. by Jeffrey Katzenberg's Quibi for a show to be hosted by Chrissy Teigen — before the start-up, short-form streaming service crashed and burned last year.

"Sokkuri" means "spitting image" in Japanese. The wacky and wildly popular Japanese game show features celebrities trying to spot sweets and pastries that have been prepared to look identical to real-life objects. Master pastry chefs create masterpieces and celebrities must determine from a distance whether its a baked good or the real thing — whether it's a shoe, a plant, or a doorknob. And once they decide, there’s only one way to find out: by taking a big bite.

Based on the original format, the Dutch local version Showcolade (meaning “Chocolate show”) will have arrangements unique to the Netherlands as an export titan of chocolate. As the title says, all sweets are created by the leading chocolatiers in the Netherlands, and the only ingredient they can use is chocolate. In the final episode, the winning chocolatier is decided by how many of their works are not found out as a “fake” throughout the series.

The WBITVP deal was unveiled Monday by Mikiko Nishiyama, Nippon TV's md of international business development, who said, "It is an immense honor to once again have WBITVP embrace another one of our crazy, Japanese game shows and deliver it to the world."

Here's another story we clipped it:

Gardening fans need to plant themselves in front of their tablets, smartphones, laptops or television monitors on Wednesday, May 12, when discovery+ drops a special 90-minute premiere episode of Clipped, the first competition series set in the spectacular world of topiary. Hosted by actor Michael Urie, the six-episode series follows seven real life "Edward Scissorhands" who create breathtaking sculptures out of meticulously trimmed shrubbery, plants and flowers - designing colorful, larger-than-life, living works of art.

Throughout the series, competitors will face high-stakes challenges and have their topiary masterpieces evaluated by lead judge and gardening icon Martha Stewart (HGTV's Martha Knows Best) and an expert panel of judges, including critically acclaimed landscape architect Fernando Wong and lifestyle, landscape and horticultural expert Chris Lambton (HGTV's Going Yard). Each week they decide who makes the cut, who gets clipped, and, in the end, who is crowned as the top topiarist who wins $50,000 cash and bragging rights as the first-ever Clipped champion.

New episodes of Clipped will launch each Wednesday on discovery+.

"It's colorful, bold, playful, and it's alive. It's topiary - the art of transforming ordinary plants into extraordinary, living sculptures shapes and characters," said host Michael Urie. "And now, for the first time ever, seven top topiary artists are taking part in a competition like no other."

"We've selected the best and brightest event designers, botanical designers and artists from around the country to wow fans in the ultimate topiary showdown," said Bob Kirsh, vice president, programming and development, HGTV. "It's remarkable to watch talented people transform plants and flowers with this incredibly creative art form."

Every 2 weeks, another somebody who wants to host Jeopardy! enters the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. So far, we went from someone who's actually played Jeopardy! as a trivia nut, a former Today show alum, an actual doctor who's here for Sony's paycheck and this person who took a break from trying to get back into the Super Bowl. Thanks a lot, Kansas City. Enter Aaron Rodgers. He was a fan of Jeopardy!, competed in the celebrity version and now......took on a 2-week excursion as host.
