Today's show is supervised by a 9th grade teacher at a high school somewhere in Pacific Bay. Let's draw tonight's pick 6 winning numbers.............
.....or we can roll this intro.
Friday’s show marked the last Jeopardy! appearance by guest host Ken Jennings, the first replacement since the death of longtime moderator Alex Trebek. Trebek was not forgotten as Jennings’s stint drew to a close.
“That’s a wrap on my six weeks of @Jeopardy guest hosting,” Jennings wrote in a tweet. “Thanks for watching, thanks for your patience with a tough learning curve…and, as always, thank you Alex.”
Trebek died on Nov. 8, and all-time Jeopardy! champion Jennings was the first of several guest hosts to take over the quiz show while a permanent replacement is sought. Future guest hosts include Jeopardy! executive producer Mike Richards - who takes the helm tonight - journalist and author Katie Couric (March 8), Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers (April 5), 60 Minutes Correspondent Bill Whitaker and actress and neuroscientist/actress Mayim Bialik.
On Monday Richards made a heartfelt on-air tribute to late host Alex Trebek. At the beginning of the episode, his first as interim host, Richards explained that due to a large number of COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles where the show tapes, future guest hosts have been "understandably a little reticent to shoot. "So, as the producer, my job is to quite literally live the mantra 'the show must go on,'" Richards said. "So let’s do what Alex Trebek did 8,244 times: Let’s play Jeopardy! and prove that nothing can stop this show."
During the closing of the episode, Richards looked toward the camera and paid homage to Trebek, saying, "I just want to say, as Alex said, we’re trying to build a kinder and gentler society. And if we all pitch in just a little bit, we’re going to get there. See you next time." This was in reference to a powerful speech Trebek gave during one of his final Jeopardy! episodes. The episode then closed with a graphic that read, "Dedicated to Alex Trebek. Forever in our Hearts, Always our Inspiration."
It’s goodbye but not adieu for the 46-year-old Jennings, who will serve as a consulting producer on the show. He revealed in a tweet on Friday that guest hosts of the future include Dr. Oz, NBC News anchor Savannah Guthrie, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

Here’s a breakdown of the other reality titles Paramount+ has in the works:
* A reboot of the classic MTV reality competition Road Rules will introduce viewers to a new roster of “Road Warriors.” Per the synopsis, “these strangers will be abandoned in a far-flung location and stripped of their modern-day luxuries by boarding a restricted life in an RV, traveling from location to location. They will be guided by a set of clues, odd jobs, and missions for money. If they last to the end of the trip, they walk away with the life changing prize.”
* MTV fans can also get pumped for The Challenge: All Stars, which will bring back the “most iconic, boldest, and fiercest Challenge all stars from the original Real World and Road Rules” for a second chance at glory — and a $500,000 grand prize.
* And The Real World‘s original seven strangers will return, as previously reported, for The Real World Homecoming: New York. The multi-episode docuseries, which takes everyone back to the NYC loft where it all began, premieres on Thursday, March 4.
* A new series titled Queen of the Universe will pit drag queens from all around the world against one another in a musical melee. Per the release, we can expect “high heels, high octaves and high competition.”
* Long-running reality series Ink Master was cancelled last year at Paramount Network as the cable network refocused its strategy on television movies and mini-series. However, Paramount+ revealed that it is looking to bring back the tattoo format, which was previously hosted by Dave Navarro, and build on its 186 episodes. The show, which launched in 2012, sees tattoo artists compete in challenges assessing their tattoo and other artistic skills. Produced by Truly Original, it has had a number of spin-offs including Ink Master: Grudge Match. Library seasons of Ink Master will also be available on the service.
* Separately, Dating Naked, which ran for three seasons on VH1, is also set for a return after its cancelation in 2017. The dating format, which was hosted by Amy Paffrath and Rocsi Diaz, sees contestants search for a mate while naked. The show was produced by Lighthearted Entertainment.

Now to an app where daring determines the fate of the player.
Classic gameshow brand "Bullseye" makes its way to the small screen thanks to a deal between Sabec and Bulldog Licensing.
"Bullseye is the perfect fit for digital gaming," says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog Licensing. "The show's format is loved nationwide and is a firm family favorite, so we're thrilled to have Sabec on board to bring the experience into people's homes with innovative gaming concepts."
The evergreen darts and catchphrase-powered gameshow "Bullseye" first aired in 1981 and peaked at 19.8 million viewers on Boxing Day 1989. This year marks the IP's 40th anniversary, and with it comes renewed energy for the brand, which has kept its viewers and loyal fans engaged since re-airing on Sky Challenge in 2006 – quickly becoming the top-rated show at the time.
"Bullseye has such heritage in the U.K., we know the game will be a sure-fire hit, not just with the fans that remember Bullseye but for the younger generation who enjoy darts too," says Trudi Hayward, co-founder, Brand-Ward Services, who brokered the deal on behalf of Sabec.
The unique mixture of competitive darts and general knowledge was the foundation of a beloved brand. With darts facing something of a resurgence in popularity, the new app will add a new digital face to the IP. Bulldog's existing consumer products for the brand currently consist of pub quizzes, scratch cards and the European agency is working on apparel and leisurewear lines, toys and housewares – proving that there is something for "two in a bed" when it comes to brand partnership.

ABC is doubling down on putt-putt.
Deadline reports that the Disney-owned network has handed a bumper two-season renewal order for mini-golf competition Holey Moley, taking it through to a fourth season.
The nonscripted series has performed well for the network during the summer; the second season increased ratings from its first and has been a useful co-viewing show for the broadcaster. ABC also increased the run for the second season to 13 episodes, up from 10 in Season 1.
The Stephen Curry-exec produced show features self-proclaimed mini-golf lovers from around the country as they compete head-to-head through an epic obstacle golf course. The second season, which premiered in May, saw a bigger course with new holes, more drama, trick shots and wipeouts.
Hosts Rob Riggle and Joe Tessitore will return alongside sideline correspondent Jeannie Mai as well as executive producer and resident golf pro Curry.

YOu don't have to guess that..........
Billed as a play-along comedy game show, Guessable? plays out like a fun-filled celebrity party, packed with curiosity, absurdity, take-away knowledge and big laughs. The show features two teams consisting of a team captain and two celebrity guests, with every round being a twist on a classic family guessing game. Every answer within the guessing games provides a clue to the identity of a famous figure or object hidden inside the Mystery Box. Win a game and the victorious team can add an answer to their Guess List. Whichever of the two teams has the identity of the person or object in the Mystery Box on their Guess List at the end of the show wins.
Guessable? debuted in October as part of Comedy Central UK’s 2020 original programming slate. It came about as Sebastian Cardwell, deputy director of programs, was looking for a “cost-effective, returnable format as part of his new strategy for Comedy Central that leaned into popular comedy panel shows like Would I Lie To You?, incorporating the instantly gettable and play-along elements of older quiz/game shows like Name That Tune,” explains Laura Burrell, VP of international formats at ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS). “Tuesday’s Child Television was already developing a format based around guessing what was inside a box and pitched the idea to Seb at the beginning of 2020. By combining the parlor games idea with the mystery box, Guessable? was born!”

Cherries Wild. A show that makes Barry & Enright shake their fists from heaven. It makes The Wall and Spin The Wheel look more..........IDK. But there's a disclaimer at the end. It says this:
The program does not use a real slot machine. Each spin in a particular game is the product of a game play combination that is determined in advance by the program's producer. On each tape day, an independent outside compliance company randomly assigns those predetermined combinations to the contestant teams taping that day. At least one (1) of the contestant teams on each tape day will receive a combination that has the potential to lead to the Grand Prize if the game is successfully played to its conclusion. At no point in the game do contestants put their own money at risk.
So........why is it fake? Let's investigate.
If you know what a booker in professsional wrestling is, you know what he actually does before bell time. Cherries Wild doesn't actually have a slot machine. Look at The Jokers Wild. It was a classic. It DID have a slot machine. It went through Barry, Cullen, Finn and Snoop Dogg. But Cherries Wild isn't a takeaway from all this. Look At The Wall. Lebron wanted a multi millionaire game that doles out bags of donuts or less than $2 million every time. It's because The Wall uses slots to nto only subtract money but to save money NBC is spending. Even Spin The Wheel wanted to be like The Wall but with Justin Timberlake's creation.....it was just another prime time game show. S&P doing what they're doing to keep things in line. Card Sharks always does with watchdogs looking over the cards shuffling before its' cut. That's what turned it into a classic. But Cherries Wild is like watching WCW all over again. So in my case, don't watch Cherries Wild.
