Livewire! 3/26
Colbi King: From the Game Show Live! newsroom, it's time for.............
Your news......with sass. Presented by sidewalks. Your shadows follow you whereever you go. Here now is..... Pierre Kelly!
Me: Hi everyone, good afternoon from the greater Pacific Bay area and TGIF! Hope you are well. And if you aren't well, well........
Today is National Elipsy Awareness Day otherwise known as Purple Day. Can you think of why the Big Wheel on TPIR was purple once upon a time? Oh well, then let's..................GET WIRED!!!!!
The show is called Celebrity Sleepover, and a press release described it as “a place where your friends are your favorite celebrities, the games are for adults only, and you can eat and be merry to your heart’s content.”
Sabia also calls it a “genre-bending show.” 🤣🤣🤣
Bananas said in the press release, “As my fans know, I’m always up for a good challenge, and talking to celebrities from the comfort of my living room and theirs, was the perfect distraction during my time at home. This show has everything—it’s fun and it’s like nothing else in late night—and it’s PJ-rated. Who else can say that!”
Comedians dominate the hardest-working celebrities on television: Kevin Hart, Jimmy Kimmel, Keegan-Michael Key, and Fred Armisen are in the top 10, and Sarah Silverman, Seth Meyer, and Amy Schumer are among those included in the top 20. (In fact, the only two actors in the top 20 known for their dramatic roles are Jon Hamm and Bryan Cranston, and both are also prolific at comedy.)
Taking top honors is Hart thanks to his many producing credits, appearances on talk shows and award shows, and his Quibi comedy Die Hart. At No. 2 is RuPaul, the multi-hyphenate drag queen who is also an actor, model, singer, and songwriter.
Armisen, however, has the highest proportion of acting credits, thanks in part to his starring roles in the TV shows Portlandia, Forever, and Documentary Now!.

You are the Twitchhead of the month for March of 2021. You get an imaginary plaque to hang on the wall, bragging rights and what else, Colbi King?
Colbi: A supply of Harry's Quality Men's grooming supplies. Look like a game show host, feel good like a game show host. Over to you, Smartie Pants.
Me: Thanks Colbi, tune in next month to see who else graduated summa cum laude from Twitch University.

Jamie Foxx‘s long-gestating big-screen Mike Tyson biopic is climbing back into the ring — as a limited series.
The Oscar winner has signed on to star in Tyson, an authorized limited series about the boxing legend that counts Martin Scorsese among its exec producers. Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) is set to direct as well as EP. Tyson will also serve as an EP on the project, which will be written by Colin Preston.
The series — which will be taken out to the marketplace soon — will span the life of one of the most legendary boxing figures of all time.
“I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time,” said Tyson in a statement. “I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jamie, and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains.”
The news comes one month after Hulu announced that it was working on its own — albeit unauthorized — Tyson-centric limited series from I, Tonya screenwriter Steven Rogers.
In Living Color alum Foxx, meanwhile, is set to return to the small screen next month (playing no fewer than four roles) in the new Netflix sitcom Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! (watch trailer).
Now for your feel good moment of the day.
Scott Kolbrenner of Encino, Calif., a contestant on Thursday night’s Wheel of Fortune, donated his $145,000 in winnings to be split between two charities.
Kolbrenner had amassed approximately $45,000 in cash and prizes during the regular rounds of play, before correctly guessing the bonus puzzle (watch video below) and collecting what turned out to be the $100,000 Grand Prize. In turn, he pledged $72,500 each to Uplift Family Services at Hollygrove and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
“While I hoped I would do OK on the show, I never thought that anything like this could happen,” Kolbrenner said, reacting to his win. “I got lucky that day and knew right away that I wanted to share my good fortune. So, I decided to contribute all of my winnings to Uplift Family Services and Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, whose services support thousands of families. The fun and memories from the day will stay with me forever, but the urgent need in our community cannot wait.”
Kolbrenner has worked with Uplift Family Services, one of the most comprehensive behavioral health treatment providers in California, for the last 20 years and currently volunteers his time and serves as a member of the Board of Directors. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, meanwhile, sources and acquires food and other products to distribute to those experiencing food insecurity.
Originally from Hewlett, N.Y., Kolbrenner has been watching Wheel of Fortune “his whole life” and watches religiously with his wife and kids. He was selected to be a contestant after applying with a video at WheelOfFortune.com and participating in a virtual audition.
Thou art the Potter, but is your name Clay?
The Max Original reality competition series, THE GREAT POTTERY THROW DOWN, will premiere the complete fourth season on April 1.
THE GREAT POTTERY THROW DOWN season 4 combines the talents of 12 of the country's best home potters with the drama of the process of making ceramics. From the precariousness of firing, to the wonderous alchemy of glazes, each week the potters take on different pottery challenges; they make a cheese set, garden water feature, a sink, naked Raku vases, as well as mini at-the-wheel challenges against the clock. Their work is overseen by passionate judge and master potter, Keith Brymer Jones (who can be reduced to tears by a teacup), and fellow judge and ceramics expert, Rich Miller.
Hosted by Siobhan McSweeney ("Derry Girls"), this is a an inspiring watch full of character, amazing talents and beautiful pieces of pottery.
The series is produced by Love Productions ("The Great British Bake Off") with Seasons 1-4 originally airing on the BBC and Channel 4. Richard McKerrow and Sarah Thomson-Woolley serve as executive producers.
Here's.........the trailer!
