Food Network brings out the childhood imagination of five teams made up of professional cake and sugar artists on the new primetime competition series Candy Land, inspired by the classic Hasbro children's game. Through six episodes, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth hosts and guides the teams through the fantastical world of Candy Land, challenging them to create heavenly confectionary showpieces, all the while being thrown curveballs every step of the way by Lord Licorice that puts the teams' skills to the ultimate test. Premiering Sunday, November 15th at 9pm ET/PT, each episode features the teams stepping into one of the eye-popping lands come to life, including giant candy canes in the Peppermint Forest, life-size gumdrops at the Gumdrop Mountains, a real life gingerbread house at Chocolate Mountain, enormous and luscious lollipops in the Lollipop Woods, and lemons growing right off the vines in the Lemon Lime Springs. The players must forage for flavors and unique ingredients within each land to use for their sugar masterpieces before presenting to judges Nacho Aguirre and Aarti Sequeira who determine which teams advance down the board game path based on creativity, technical execution, and how well the candies of the land were incorporated. The first team to make it to King Kandy's Castle wins the game and earns the grand prize of $25,000.

"For almost three-quarters of a century and with over 50 million games sold, Candy Land is one of the most beloved childhood memories for generations of families everywhere, and we are thrilled to be able to collaborate with Hasbro to bring viewers on this immersive journey with such an iconic property," said Courtney White, President, Food Network. "And with Kristin Chenoweth's charismatic presence, she is the perfect guide in capturing the imagination of audiences, making the world of Candy Land truly come alive."

"Candy Land is what the world needs right now - oh, and also sugar," said Chenoweth.

Me: Here I am back at the wheel of Live!

This Saturday, while I stood in a very long line early voting, there was a tournament unlike any other.

https://youtu.be/zpL7oirbJ-I

SeeKkandPHInd, who is one of our viewers organized a Quiplash 3 tournament in the wake of Jackbox's newest annual party pack. Here's how the annoucement went down.....

What you witnessed over at his Twitch page is a fine collection of Jackbox Streamers and people who sometimes do all in one big tournament. Think the NCAA Basketball tournament had it like this? No way. And the highlight reel I have here proves it.

What a time was had by all. Game Show Live! was there to witness it and I was rooting for SMRT Rob to take the gold. Instead, he took home audience favorite which is is a good way to get his cred up. I hope SMRT Trivia will be more successful after that award.

Ubisoft announced a brand new version of the game show Family Feud will be released in November for all three major consoles and Stadia. Ubisoft last released a version of the famous game show was the 2012 Edition, which was one of their last titles to head to the Xbox 360 and PS3. Since then they've focused on other titles of the same genre and left the Fued more in the hands of mobile developers. It should be noted that while the game is currently slated to be released on November 12th, 2020, the only confirmed consoles are the current-gen editions of the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. No word out about PS5 or Xbox Series X, which is rather interesting considering the date and the fact we're one month out

Amanda Holden, Alison Hammond and Jimmy Carr are the celebrity panellists for BBC One's new addition to the singing game show format, I Can See Your Voice, on which competitors have to guess who can or can't sing from a group of random warblers.

An eight-part series, I Can See Your Voice will be hosted by Paddy McGuinness and the panel will be helped out by a different pop star each week.

The basic set-up of I Can See Your Voice sees two members of the public try to guess which of a group of mystery singers can or can't sing. But the singers themselves could win the loot: they have to navigate their way through lip sync challenges with hidden clues and the help of the celebrity panel, who will help the duo narrow down the choices until there's just one singer left. The final singer will then perform a duet with the pop star to reveal whether they can or can't sing. If the players have picked a great singer they will get to pocket the cash, but if a bad singer is revealed, the imposter will win the money.

Carr said: "I think a silly, crazy, fun hour of telly is just what we all need. And it doesn't come any more silly, crazy or fun than this.".
