Me: hello, bonjour, konichiwa, salud, guten tag, G'day, pip pip cheerio, Hola, and of course.....what up? Welcome to yet another quarantined week of.....
It must be me, Pierre Kelly here and while the city has unveiled the new "Back from The Dead" business plan in place, it'll be based on a downward trend in my Covid-19 cases, so it may be another 2 weeks, but the stay at home orders expire around May. If this gets extended, it'll be MST3K, Live From the 8th Dimension and Marlo and the Magic Movie machine in one big pile of boredom and joy. So welcome one and all and let's begin before the mayors ask us to extend it by 2-3 months before July with......
The Double Toasted opening Toss up story.
Here's the type of contestant that'll give you positivity through the crisis. Her name: Aurora De Lucia. Occupation: Workshop Writer. Sport: Ultramarathoner
Her last known whereabouts: Wheeeeeeeeeeeeel of Fortune.
We'll get to her Wheel appearance in just a second, but Aurora, a native of NYC was on both of the CBS game show soulmates prior to her Wheel appearance. Our research shows that on her website, she won a car on price and almost....won a trip on LMAD. But on a fateful day in Los Angeles, she took on the famous wheel with Pat and Vanna. Going into the Prize Puzzle, she made this play on her turn......
With a W in her prolific game show contestant career, the bonus round was her destination.
And just because she almost had it doesn't mean social media blew up.
Well, she expressed her feelings by saying this....
It just goes to show she's a Wheelie being an SNL character. So Aurora, we here at Game Show Live! salutes you. And if you wanna make more money, there's always HQ Trivia. If there's a remix of Matt Richards' Sanitizer Break jingle you're working on, we'll pass it along to you.
Speaking of sanitizers, we have one sanitizer for your protection: The Yay and Yawn of April.
The Yay: Concentration. Really old Concentration G-T produced to give you the cheap prizes Classic Concentration took a step further, a car game that'll leave you hanging, a theme song compsed by the master of game show themes, Edd Kalehoff and Jack Narz that'll take you up to prime time programming on mobile or TV.
The Yawn: Kristin Cavalrri. After a decade together with Jay Cutler.....Splitsville. And we'd all binge watch every single episode of The Hills. One day.
As I said, I'm about to take a sanitizer break. Watch the ad and come back.

Me: So we're back and this weekend would've been the 74th annual Jack Barry Jazz Festival at Aqua Lake Hydro Racing Park where I would've been front and center with Lolly Allen (Google that name, please), bit instead like most of us.... we're all stuck at home. So I'll watch Xumo instead. They give you the best tv and movies on demand when nothing's on. Download the app today.
If binge watching isn't your thing, you might as we'll stick to podcasts. MightI suggest.....

An audio dramedy podcast that just came out this month and running for 6 shows, the pod follows the ongoings of a woman living in a New Jersey Town.

Rack your brain for just a second after a Pandora song break as we hear from the Devil Clefs.
....as in the Sun Devils from Arizona.
And thankfully it's over, but for many states, this quarantine party isn't. So here's the answer....
Yet another victim of the virus, is it too early to start a B-Movie film festival at the Tomarken Drive In a few blocks from the Wilton-North Building where we used to work there? If so, can I bring a mask along?
While outside the house to escape being in too darn long, I happen to notice 3 members of the category crew practicing social distancing
Other than the guy who runs around the neighborhood with his shirt off. Come watch.
Nice job. Thankfully none got hit by a vehicle.
Now for something to blow your mind to.

The late Harold Reid was on Family Feud when it did shows in Opryland USA. The set pieces when they did the show later came when Richard Dawson returned in 1994. Something that blew your mind to.

An audio dramedy podcast that just came out this month and running for 6 shows, the pod follows the ongoings of a woman living in a New Jersey Town.
Eva Bilick wrote, produced and stars in "A Place Called Fairneck." In addition, six other actors also lend their voices to the project, including Sean George, Miles Bryant, Hailey Graves, Emily Churchill, David Schwartzbaum, and Deven Martin. Kyle Andrews is the story consultant and consulting producer. The illustration is by Colin Dahlgren, editing is by Rama Vallury, and James Edwards composed the music.
"A Place Called Fairneck" is about a clever teenage journalist who comically recounts the tragic events that lead to a beloved member of her community dying in a freak plague-related accident the week before Passover. Are the plagues really back? What do high school crushes look like ten years later? Oh yeah, and who's about to die???
I suggest you listen for laughs and tears in this wonderful new podcast. Look for it on Spotify, Stitcher, Apple podcasts and so much more. Rate, review and tell them Game Show Live! sent you.

CBS Television Distribution's Jeopardy! will salute its greatest player of all time, Ken Jennings, in a two-week encore of the Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time tournament that aired on ABC in primetime in January.
This will mark the first time the tournament will air in broadcast syndication.
Included in the two-week run are Jennings' first ever appearance on the show, which originally aired on June 2, 2004, and his final game of that record-setting 74-game winning streak that originally aired on Nov. 30, 2004. Sandwiched in the middle are the eight matches of the GOAT tournament, which also featured professional poker player James Holzhauer, who introduced a new high-stakes way of playing the game during his original run last spring, and Brad Rutter, who until the tournament was the game's highest money winner.
The episodes will begin airing on Monday, May 4 and run through Friday, May 15.
George Gray, longtime announcer for The Price Is Right, is recovering in his home in Arizona after suffering three heart attacks earlier this week.
"George is recovering at the hospital and is in good spirits," his rep told Deadline Saturday. "He even cracked a couple of jokes on the phone with me this morning."
"His wife is by his side and he is looking to make a full recovery," the rep added, saying Gray wants to thank his friends and fans for "the outpouring of love and support."
Gray, 53, was transported to the hospital Monday after experiencing chest pains. He suffered a heart attack on the way to the hospital. After the first heart attack, doctors inserted a stent to restore blood flow in one of his arteries. The stent failed, and Gray had a second heart attack. A second stent was then inserted to increase his blood flow, but it also failed. He suffered a third heart attack while on the operating table.
Gray has been the announcer on The Price Is Right since 2011. TMZ first reported the news of his heart attacks.
Ryan Seacrest has kept an old relic from the early days of 'American Idol' in his garage for the last three years. Now, he's finally getting the chance to use it.
When ABC presents its first quarantine-edition of the beloved music competition show on Sunday, the longtime host will film his parts from home using the desk that original judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson had way back in 2002.
"Hey guys, so we're rehearsing for 'American Idol,' and this desk right here — we're gonna do the show on Sunday for everyone to be able to vote — this desk is the original desk that Randy, Paula, and Simon had," Seacrest said in a video posted to his Twitter page Wednesday.
"It was in my garage in storage, but I never thought we'd quite use it again, but it's coming in handy for this Sunday."
Starting Sunday, April 26, the singing competition show will shift from pretaped episodes to new installments featuring the three judges, host Ryan Seacrest, mentor Bobby Bones and the top 20 contestants all appearing from home.
ABC's SVP, Alternative Series, Specials & Late-Night Programming Rob Mills told Deadline that there had been an idea to "put a pin" in the show until the pandemic was over but that felt "unsatisfying".
"We knew we wanted to get some kind of results this season. You started seeing some of the things that artists and musicians were doing on Instagram and Facebook, even some of the stuff on TV, we realised there was a way of doing something different, but could also feel innovative, that's when the producers set about doing these shows that you'll see over the next couple of weeks."
The contestants will have three episodes and the finale to impress the judges, who are also filming remotely in their homes. American Idol showrunner Trish Kinane, who is also President of Entertainment Programming for producer FremantleMedia North America, told Deadline, "These kids have given up a lot to do these auditions and Hollywood week, it's only fair to them to keep it going and crown the next American Idol. You also don't have to win to have a successful career; Jennifer Hudson came seventh."
We were originally supposed to have six live shows, starting with a Top 14 on April 12. The Top 10 were to take to the stage on April 19, with the Top 8 set for April 26. The May 3 show was supposed to be just the Top 6, with the Top 4 competing on May 10 and the Top 3 vying for the season 18 title on May 17.
Armoza Formats has launched CGI-powered game show "Beat the Grid" — an interactive format the ITV Studios-backed firm plans to shop to broadcasters impacted by coronavirus.
Produced in association with Nimrod Harel and Yaron Yashinski's production outfit Gamechanger, "Beat the Grid" (30') finds contestants trying to win cash prizes by guessing the answers to a giant CGI grid that keeps expanding the more questions are answered correctly.
Viewers playing from home are also able to join in and try their hand at each question 10 seconds after the contestant for a chance to win the money.
Avi Armoza, founder of the Israeli formats firm, says "Beat the Grid" requires a small studio and relies largely on two cameras — one fixed and one mobile. One or two contestants also participate in-person from the studio, along with a host. "The only thing you don't see is what they're looking at, and that can be a huge screen or a big studio with or without an audience.
In answering the needs of the current market, we're effectively creating a virtual hub," explains Armoza.
The executive notes that the game's software, which has been built centrally with new partner Gamechanger, can easily be shared with interested channels.
"Because 80% of the set is CGI, you can bring it to air within a few weeks," estimates Armoza, who highlights that the show was created and piloted ahead of lockdown. "All broadcasters need content they can pull up rather quickly in a cost-effective way that meets regulations. So, although we didn't plan it this way, it has become the right format for the right time," says Armoza.
The format is currently being shopped to the market. In the U.S., Armoza will team with ITV America to sell "Beat the Grid."
MTV's "Double Shot at Love With DJ Pauly D and Vinny" is coming back for Season 2 — and so are some of the wildest women from last summer's dramatic first season.
The "Jersey Shore" stars both left Season 1 without having achieved their goal of finding love, but this season may be their chance at a do-over.
Fans will remember Pauly's dramatic rejection of front-runner Nikki Hall in the first-season finale, and Vinny's seemingly happy ending with Alysse that fell apart in an awkward break-up during the "Double Shot" reunion special.
On Thursday (or should we say Jerzday?), June 11, Nikki and her fellow ladies of Season 1 — Brittani "B-lashes" Schwartz, Derynn Paige, Maria Elizondo, Marissa Lucchese and Susan "Suzi" Baidya — are coming back for another shot at love.
The new season was initially announced in October under the working title "DJ Pauly D and Vinny's Vegas Pool Party." But now it's the second season of "Double Shot," and it looks a lot different than the first.
Instead of a "Bachelor"-style competition that ends in weekly eliminations, the women will be living and working with Pauly D and Vinny in Las Vegas.
"Without the pressure of a competition, the duo thinks it will be easy, but DJ Pauly D and Vinny quickly realize that wherever this group of girls goes, the drama will follow…and love and hook-ups may not be far behind," according to MTV
