Grounded. Without a Rose.
Clare Crawley’s season of “The Bachelorette” is shaping up to be much different than any of her predecessors on the beloved ABC dating franchise because of the growing coronavirus pandemic.
Longtime “Bachelor” franchise host Chris Harrison opened up about what changes fans can likely expect from the upcoming season, which has seen production delays in the wake of the pandemic. ABC had previously announced a May 18 premiere date for the 16th season of the series, but that was before production was shut down just one day before the contestants were set to move into the mansion last week.
“When we come back, it may look a little different,” Harrison told TheWrap. “My guess is when we’re all able to get back out there, we’re still not gonna be able to go international for a while. So maybe it’s a California show. Maybe it’s a domestic show where we can fly charter around the United States to remote locations. Who knows what it’s gonna look like? It’s all just complete speculation right now. We don’t even know when my kids can go back to school, much less when we can start shooting.”

“The Masked Singer” welcomes fan-favorite guest judge Joel McHale back with open arms on Wednesday’s episode. Well, panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke do. And so does Nick Cannon. And so does the studio audience. It’s McHale’s fellow “Community” alum Ken Jeong who isn’t particularly thrilled to see him return to the Fox singing competition.

The peppy cast of Netflix’s Cheer may have met their match. On Tuesday night, Wheel of Fortune contestant Christian Dixie captivated viewers — as well as longtime host Pat Sajak — with his upbeat attitude and in-depth knowledge of the beloved game show. Dixie’s positive outlook resonated so much with viewers stuck at home that they immediately declared him a Wheel of Fortune hero. “In the midst of this pandemic… Christian comes to the rescue!” wrote one fan.
Last night, Dixie, a freshman at Ball State University, took Wheel of Fortune‘s College Week by storm with his enthusiasm and game show acumen. The Indiana native revealed that he’s a major fan of the show, and he even wrote about “the history of Wheel of Fortune” for his college’s digital newspaper, The Byte. “And [Wheel] has been a part of your life like, forever?” asked Sajak. “Yes, since I was nine months old,” replied Dixie.
As it turns out, Dixie’s lifetime of dedication was worth it. According to Yahoo, the college student easily completed two puzzles and wasted no time before advancing to the bonus round. “Should we bother with the puzzle or do you just want to solve it?” asked Sajak before proceeding with the bonus puzzle. Sajak’s joke seemed to predict reality: after he was given two letters, Dixie guessed four additional consonants, all of which appeared on the board. “Wavy ocean!” he guessed, with two empty spots remaining. “It’s as simple as that,” joked Sajak.
Dixie won $37,000 in the bonus round, and ended up going home with almost $69,000. But the real prize? The endless admiration of viewers at home. Fans praised Dixie for curing their coronavirus blues and insisted that his positivity is “precisely what the entire world needs right now.”

Another hero we need right now is the Twitchhead of the month award. We honor somebody that has the following qualifications: must have a length of at least one year, can be of any variety or stick to a common game, viewership numbers on average and the most important category of all: the ability to play Jackbox games on any days or a moment's notice. Yes, Livewire! is proud to award.....

The Twitchhead of the month award!

Our recipient for the month is TipsyTune. Recently unemployed, (Thanks a lot, Covid-19) Tipsy warms the viewers up with some games you remember from your childhood. By 6:30 central time, that's where the fun begins. The wheels shift over to Jackbox and with an average of nearly 50 a stream, more viewers come in a lot more for the hilarity of the famous party game franchise. TipsyTune has a line of drinks he has at home and puts up a word of the day on the top right corner. As far as the drinking rules are concerned, he takes a sip for every loss or tie in a game. To get in any of those games, a goop is covered up and to give it more of an advantage, he gives you a clue as to what the room code is ala Pyramid. Once they figure it out, the room seems to fill in fast. Known for his hilariousness, he's also a singer and songwriter too. And when he runs away to the bathroom, he brings in his.....um......body double. Anyways, TipsyTune is known for many moments in his time on Twitch like.....

Home #AloneTogether

It’s the new normal — for now, at least — and ViacomCBS’ Entertainment & Youth Brands are teaming to raise awareness about social distancing.

MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, CMT and VH1 have joined forces with the Ad Council for #AloneTogether, a national campaign to promote safety and unity in the coronavirus era.

Among the celebrities taking part in the campaign are folks from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Schitt’s Creek, Jersey Shore Vacation and Black Ink Crew. Comedy Central late-night hosts Trevor Noah and David Spade also are featured. The content will be shared among their collective half-billion-plus social media followers.

The campaign also also will be tailored and supported by Nickelodeon, BET, CBS and CBS All-Access, Awesomeness, Pluto TV and Showtime. The open-source model is designed to expand across ViacomCBS and beyond.

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx has teamed Cinema Libre Studio and Hong Kong-based Fight to Fame Films to develop When We Pray, a faith-based feature, which Foxx plans to direct. He’s co-writing the script with Donald Ray “Speedy” Caldwell. The pic marks Foxx’s sophomore directorial outing following his debut film, All-Star Weekend.
The plot is about two brothers who become pastors at different churches in the same community. One brother develops his church into a modern, high-tech congregation that uses digital devices and ATMs. The other brother follows a humbler path but soon finds his church in decline and in need of financial help.

CBS has adjusted its programming schedule following the cancellation of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, filling in with network programming, with both encore and original episodes, in its place. The tournament is among a slew of sporting, entertainment and media-related events canceled due to the spreading coronavirus.
Most notably, the network will air original episodes of Hawaii Five-O on Friday, March 27 at 9 PM with the series finale following at 9 PM, Friday, April 3. Original episodes of MacGyver will air Friday, March 27 and Friday, April 3 at 8 PM, and an original episode of Blue Bloods will air Friday, April 3 at 10 PM.

CBS Daytime programming on previously scheduled game days will air as scheduled. The Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal will air encore presentations, while The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Talk will all air original episodes.

Rob Beckett's planned BBC game show has been axed.

The 34-year-old comedian was set to take the helm of a new quiz show called 'Revolver' - which saw contestants play for a £100,000 cast prize by answering general knowledge questions before spinning a wheel to win - but the programme has now been pulled by the BBC after its complicated rules confused viewers.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "'Revolver' was a non-transmitted pilot which we didn't pick up and a series was never planned."
The one-off episode was filmed in December at Maidstone Studios, but the audience was left baffled by the game's twist, where contestants could lose everything if their cash total goes under or over the target, even by just one pound.
However, an insider from the production team has indicated the game show could be picked up by another broadcaster.

The show was previously dubbed the new 'Wheel of Fortune' with hopes it would quickly become a "classic" early evening entertainment staple.
A source recently said: "This new game show, 'Revolver', with Rob at the helm is primed to be a nail-biting tea-time classic.
"Like the 'Wheel of Fortune', every spin leads to more cash in the pot, but even those all set to win a fortune after answering questions correctly could lose."

But the revolution is about to slow down thanks to Madi2theMax and this......

Closing Theme

So today....I learned that the BBC's one off special Revolver is like last summer's show on Fox, "Spin The Wheel," the latter of which hadn't had any confusion at all except it came from the same producer of "The Wall." Guess Mr. Glassman likes having multi-millionaires, huh?

Well, I must take a nap or watch Binjpipe but I shall talk to all when this sound is heard.......
