The Double Toasted Opening Toss up Story.

A famous family therapist. One life cut short. Related to a Game show host. SO what happened? Let's investigate.

https://youtu.be/Gu7GYBe--Mw

It all
It all happened the day after Valentine's Day when Amie Harwick, 38 Years old was screaming and yelling at her house when all of a sudden, she was thrown over the third story balcony and down to the ground. What had happened was his ex-boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse who were dating a decade ago but had protecive order until 2015. Harwick had a chance encounter a month before her death and after the show was over he approached her again. Gareth, who is a software engineer and photographer, was arrested the day of her death and got thrown into the clink early Sunday morning. Last week, the DA of the Los Angeles  re-arrested him on a no-bail warrant and if convicted, he may face a death penalty or life in prison without parole for one count of murder and one count of first-degree residential burglary.

his last tweet before the arrest was this:

You can't get fit without that new gym clothing. But they won't give you that gear until you're fit. Soo … Tough t------s bucko
— Gareth Pursehouse (@GarethFromAbove) February 15, 2020

A lot of people expressed their concern for her including Eric Breslow who said.....

“She loved old music. She loved everything vintage,” he says. “She was not some L.A. party girl. She was cultured. She was studied. She looked like she was a put-together throwback from an era gone by.”

But one connection to her in the game show world was that she was a fiance to Drew Carey before they called off wedding plans. But what about the show he works on today? Well.......

On Monday, a representative for Carey shared a statement with EW on his behalf. It read, "Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime. She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief. I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try to work through this tragic situation. Thank you."
In the wake of the news of the tragedy, Fremantle Media has also confirmed to EW that they have postponed production of The Price Is Right for this week.
Carey has been host of the long-running game show since 2007, succeeding Bob Barker.
Harwick, who was 38, died on Saturday after reportedly falling from a balcony. The Los Angeles Police Department arrested a former boyfriend of Harwick's, whom they believe attacked her after a restraining order against him had expired, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Drew Carey was filled with emotion when he reflected on his relationship with Harwick on Friday’s episode of his Sirius XM show Drew Carey’s Friday Night Freak-Out.
“She was beautiful and fun, and cared deeply about people and improving their lives and was just a joy to be around. I was so in love with her,” he said.

The Yay: The Masked Singer. After the Niners and the Chiefs played down in Miami, a new crop of costumed caricatures played a different game in Los Angeles. And that Super 9 gimmick in better than the Mighty Nein on Critical Role, don't you think?

The yawn: Krystal Nielson and CHris Randone. Trying to act like Ashley and Jared, they got split like.......Monty Hall back in 1986. Oh well.

And now she's gone.

The UK edition of Love Island resumed its season on Monday, after hitting pause in the wake of former presenter Caroline Flack's death by suicide late last week, at the age of 40.
Monday's episode opened with a picturesque montage of waves, shores and beaches (embedded in the link below), as longtime Love Island narrator Iain Stirling said, "We are all absolutely devastated by the tragic news that Caroline, a much-loved member of our Love Island family, has passed away. Like many of you, we are just trying to come to terms with what happened."
"Caroline, I want to thank you for all the fun times we had making our favorite show," Stirling said in closing. "You were a true friend to me."
The family also provided the following statement to Sky News, which reads as follows:
"We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today, 15 February. We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time and we would ask they make no attempt to contact us and/or photograph us."
Flack presided over Love Island UK — which streams Stateside on Hulu — through Season 5. She was removed as host in December and replaced by Laura Whitmore, following allegations that she assaulted her boyfriend, English tennis player Lewis Burton.
She was set to stand trial on March 4.
She started out as an actress on the British sketch-comedy series Bo' Selecta! in 2002. She eventually made a career for herself as a television and radio personality, presenting on such reality series as Escape From Scorpion Island, Gladiators and I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! NOW! Flack went on to co-host the X Factor companion series The Xtra Factor, then presided over Season 12 of X Factor proper, alongside Olly Murs. In 2014, she won Season 12 of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing with dance partner Pasha Kovalev.
ITV has postponed another episode of Love Island following the death of Caroline Flack but the show will return on Monday night with a tribute to the former presenter.
The British broadcaster said that the decision had been made after "careful consideration" between Flack's representatives and the Love Island production team. The British commercial broadcaster did not air Love Island: Unseen Bits on Saturday night, and there had been suggestions that the network would pull the plug on the series, which is due to end on February 23. It is understood that ITV execs spent much of Sunday discussing what to do following Flack's death.
Meanwhile, Channel 4 announced that it will not broadcast a new show fronted by Flack, called The Surjury, which wrapped filming late last year. Produced by Gobstopper Television, it was Flack's first show for Channel 4 and featured a 12-strong jury of the public deciding if people get the cosmetic surgery they've always dreamed of.
ITV director Kevin Lygo responded with a statement saying, "Caroline was part of Love Island from the very beginning and her passion, dedication and boundless energy contributed to the show's success. After Caroline stepped down from the show, ITV made it clear that the door was left open for her to return and the Love Island production team remained in regular contact with her and continued to offer support over the last few months."
"Caroline loved Love Island and was very vocal in her support of the show," Lygo added. "Viewers could relate to her and she to them and that was a big part of the programme's success. We will all miss her very much.".

NBC has renewed its hit alternative series "Ellen's Game of Games" for a fourth season.
DeGeneres revealed the pickup this morning on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" during which she had audience members play the always messy "Danger Word" to celebrate.
"I'm so excited. I love this show so much," said DeGeneres. "It makes me so happy. I love games. It combines all my favorite things: prizes and surprises. I'm sure you've seen it but if you haven't, you've been missing out. We can't wait to get started on the next round of episodes."

And finally, for you seniors out there......

Reality TV's next eligible bachelor could very well be a silver fox. ABC on Monday aired a casting announcement for a new reality dating show that would feature older contestants looking for love later in life. Here's the on-air announcement, as captured by Rob Mills, Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night Programming for ABC Entertainment:

#Bachelornation give us your Grumpiest Old Men, give us your Goldenest Girls. #TheBachelor pic.twitter.com/ZYV3LouLdb — Robert Mills (@Millsy11374) February 25, 2020

As Mills later clarified in a tweet, ABC is looking for applicants over the age of 65. The announcement directed viewers to an official casting website, which offers a bit more information about the in-development project: "Are you entering your golden years and looking for romance? The Producers of The Bachelor are looking for active and outgoing single men and women in their golden years for a new exciting dating show!"
Of course, this older-skewing dating show isn't the only Bachelor offshoot on the horizon. Premiering on Monday, April 13 (8/7c), we also have The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart, in which 20 singles "embark on an incredible journey to find love through music," according to the official logline. By singing popular songs, both individually and as couples, the contestants will "look to form attractions through the melodies, find and reveal their feelings, and ultimately fall in love."
