And Across America.....and the world.........this is..............

Now here is America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi2TheMax and this of course is  Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it. Let's get into it with......

 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

Here's a Game Show Live! follow along on teh AGT judge situation.

Julianne Hough is breaking her silence on her and Gabrielle Union's sudden departures from America's Got Talent.
In an appearance on Today's third hour Thursday, Hough did not respond directly when asked by host Craig Melvin what her own experience was as a judge on NBC's hit summer competition series.
"I commend Gabrielle for speaking her truth and starting a conversation," said the Dancing With The Stars judge, who is set to star with her brother Derek in two NBC Christmas specials. "I'm also really proud of NBC as well for showing up and starting a narrative, and that's what's going to change the workplace and the paradigm that we've been working in for many, many years, and it's shifting, and I think that's really, really exciting."
Hough's comments refer to a sit-down Wednesday between NBC and Union to address her departure and to look at ways to improve the culture and atmosphere on the show. Both sides called the meeting "candid and productive."
Hough added that, "Life is crazy and sometimes you can't control things, and when obstacles come your way you have to be graceful about it and have integrity. I think that people with authenticity and integrity will create change."
Hough said she hasn't spoken to Union since they left the show. "I have reached out. I think we both have been very busy," she said. "Hopefully, when I get back to LA later this afternoon we can have a conversation."
Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough will not be returning as judges for Season 15 of "America's Got Talent," an individual with knowledge of the situation confirms. Shortly after, sources told entertainment news site LoveBScott that there was a racist and sexist culture behind the scenes, alleging that Union was fired for bringing "problematic" on-set situations to light.
Variety also published follow-up reports about a toxic culture at the show.
NBC, Fremantle and production company Syco released the following joint statement on Sunday, Dec. 1: "We remain committed to ensuring a respectful workplace for all employees and take very seriously any questions about workplace culture. We are working with Ms. Union through her representatives to hear more about her concerns, following which we will take whatever next steps may be appropriate."
No word yet as to their replacements, although executive producer and judge Simon Cowell is expected to return, as well as long-time judge Howie Mandel and host Terry Crews.
Both Union and Hough joined the show in January 2019 when former judges Heidi Klum and Mel B exited due to other commitments.
Time's Up, the women's advocacy network, has weighed in on the much-talked-about and controversial dismissal of Union from NBC's America's Got Talent after she called out incidents of workplace toxicity she encountered and witnessed while she was a judge on the reality competition series.

"Gabrielle Union's experience at America's Got Talent is exemplary of the double bind that black women face at work," said Tina Tchen, president and CEO of Time's Up Now in a statement. "Not only did Union reportedly endure and witness racist and inappropriate behavior – including racially-insensitive comments and excessive criticism about her physical appearance – but it also appears she was punished for speaking out: the company labeled her as 'difficult' before ousting her from the show altogether."
Interestingly, despite reports of a negative work environment at AGT, Hough denied to Variety that she had experienced toxic behavior while on the show: "I had a wonderful time on America's Got Talent… working with the cast, crew and producers. I am happy to continue my working relationship with NBC."
Elsewhere, NBC now has a potential labor landmine under its feet with Union's forced-march exit from America's Got Talent. Just hours after the Comcast-owned network finally put out a statement that seemed to recognize the gravity of the situation and the allegations of racial and other discriminatory practices at work on the Simon Cowell-created competition series, SAG-AFTRA has turned a new spotlight on the matter."

After this commercial word, Who is never afraid to enter the Jedi temple? That's......when Game Show Live returns.

Yes, The Streams of your Life. The newest ongoing millenial soap rock opera about a stream company out in the cold.......

Hot off the success of Baby Yoda, Disney has ordered a new Star Wars show for its Disney+ streaming service, but this one seemingly shares more in common with American Ninja Warrior than The Mandalorian.
Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge is described by Disney as a test of "strength, knowledge, and bravery" as contestants face off in a series of different obstacles "in an attempt to achieve the rank of Jedi Knight."
Hosted by Ahmed Best, best known for playing Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars prequels, the show will pit players against different challenges in three different locations: a forest planet, a Jedi star cruiser, and inside a Jedi temple.
"A game show set in the Star Wars galaxy is a perfect fit for Disney+," said Dan Silver, vice president of unscripted originals at Disney+, in a press release.
Disney+ currently has a number of unscripted original series, including The World According to Jeff Goldblum and Kristen Bell's Encore. Jedi Temple Challenge will mark the first kid-focused game show on the platform.
Adding the show to Disney+'s catalog comes at a time when competitors like Netflix are trying to find more game shows for its streaming services. There still aren't many details about how the show will operate — for example, Disney hasn't said how many contestants will participate — but the show will premiere in 2020."

Andy Samberg is going meta with Quibi. The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star will host a cooking competition about bite-sized foods on the tech platform that plans to roll out its series in morsels.
Samberg will host "Biggest Little Cook-Off," which Quibi describes as "a comedic competition series where the stakes are big and the plates are small."
In an absurd showdown, two top chefs will battle to create the most delicious, salivating, mouth-watering, scrumptious … single bite of food," according to the mobile-first media technology platform. It continued: "Can these highly skilled chefs make spaghetti and meatballs on a plate the size of a dime? Sushi on a single grain of rice? Find out in 'Biggest Little Cook-Off.'"
"Anyone who knows me knows I love dinky stuff. So when this show about dinky food came my way I said, 'I like the dinky food,'" Samberg, who is also an executive producer, said in a statement. "I'm excited to bring my expertise in dinky things to the dinky cooking arena, and I'm also excited to bring a bag lunch, because the food is so dinky I'm for sure going to still be hungry after the shows."
Michael Rosenstein, Stephen Kroopnick and Stu Schreiberg will executive produce alongside Samberg. The series is produced by Triage Entertainment, a Levity Live company.
Quibi launches on April 6, 2020.

And finally......

The Switch is ITV's brand new daytime quiz show - how does it all work?
Sanjeev Bhaskar turns quiz master for the new gameshow, which currently airs weekdays on ITV at 3PM. ITV describes The Switch as a "fast-paced, incredibly high-question-volume quiz that is full of variety, unexpected twists and a huge amount of play along for viewers."
Host Sanjeev Bhaskar said: "The Switch is the perfect quiz for viewers who want their general knowledge tested to the limits. I'm delighted to be hosting." Contestants are first given a chance to bank as much money as they can individually in the 'Easy Money' clue-based round. Each answer could rhyme with a word, start or perhaps end with the same letter. Every correct answer is worth cash (round 1 £100, round 2 £200, round 3 £300) and they each have just 45 seconds to add to their money pots.
The three 'Easy Money' rounds alternate with 'Switch' rounds.
And here's where the quizzers can get tactical, as they're given the chance to 'stick or switch' question categories. Will they switch out their competitors' favourite subjects? Or will they focus on sticking their favourites? Once the categories are locked in the quiz changes to multiple choice questions. But there's a twist - one of the answers is incorrect. Contestants race to secure a correct answer. Choose the wrong one and you're 'switched out' of the game.
The 'switched out' player can only hope that one of the other contestants picks an invalid answer and brings them back into play. On the third and final question, the quizzer 'switched out' is eliminated. By the end of the final 'Switch' round, only two contestants are left with questions offering only the one right and one wrong answer. The player 'switched out' in the deciding third category question loses out, leaving the victor to progress through to the final round. In the last round, the one remaining player gets a last chance to 'switch out' the final categories.
Once categories are complete, they need to answer one question right in each category to win half their pot. Then they can gamble to run the board again to win their full cash prize. And if they've got enough time left - and are feeling extra brave - they can try the board for a third and final time to double their winnings.
ITV tease: "It's easy to get rich… if you survive The Switch!"
The Switch airs weekdays 3PM on ITV from Monday 25 November 2019 for four weeks.

Diplo, Anderson .Paak and Fall Out Boy, come on down, you're all the next musical guests on The Price Is Right!

When did America's favorite price-check-themed game show start hosting musical acts? Seemingly in early 2019, when it hosted Kiss during a Music Week of genre-themed episodes. The fun will continue the week of Jan. 20, in anticipation of the 62nd Grammy Awards on The Price Is Right's network CBS.
Rock, rap and electronic music will each get their own special episode. Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump will represent for rock with a taping on Dec. 9. Anderson .Paak will come through for rap to tape on Dec. 9 as well, while Diplo will have his electronic taping on Dec. 10.
These tapings are public and fans of each act are encouraged to fill the stands, so register to attend your favorite of the shows (or all three) at priceisright.com.
Anderson .Paak is nominated for two Grammys at this year's show: best R&B album and best R&B performance. While Fall Out Boy and Diplo are sitting this awards show out, they've both enjoyed numerous nominations in years past. The producer even has three wins, including the award for best dance recording in 2019 for Silk City's "Electricity," featuring Dua Lipa. Watch out for the Grammys on Jan. 27, 2020, on CBS and watch each episode of The Price is Right Music Week, kicking off Jan. 20.

Jeopardy host Alex Trebek is set to receive the Icon Award at the Canadian Screen Awards.

Trebek has been the host of Jeopardy since its current iteration debuted in 1984. He has won five Daytime Emmys for outstanding game show host and received a lifetime achievement award in 2011.
In its 35th season, Jeopardy remains one of the most popular shows in syndication.

Viewers of Wheel of Fortune saw quite the strange sight on their television screens on Monday night. For the first time in 37 years, someone other than Pat Sajak was hosting the iconic game show.
In his place was Vanna White, who went from turning the letters to being at the forefront. She admitted before the episode airing that she was "nervous" about the situation. She ended up being thrust into the position after Sajak had to undergo emergency surgery to correct a blocked intestine. Taking her place in controlling the board was Minnie Mouse.
"I've never even thought of that in 37 years," White said to The New York Times in an interview. "And to be asked almost on the spot, 'How do you feel about hosting the show?' Like, what... I was very nervous."
White will host the special "Secret Santa Holiday Giveaway" episodes without Sajak, reports PEOPLE. The 2019 edition of the annual promotion will run through Dec. 20, and gives every at-home viewer with a Wheel Watchers Club SPIN ID the chance to win everything a contestant wins in an episode.
This year, Disney is joining as a promotional partner for the first time. Since the "Secret Santa" promotions began, more than $2.5 million has been awarded to at-home viewers. This year's prizes will include trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, Disney Cruises vacations and Disney Store gift cards."
Meanwhile, Pat Sajak is back at work after his emergency surgery, and fans are delighted. The longtime Wheel of Fortune host made headlines last month after a medical emergency took him off the show for a few weeks, leading Vanna White to take over hosting duties on the show. With the episodes hosted by White set to begin airing next week, Sajak took to Twitter to celebrate his return to the studio. He admitted that while his break to recover from the surgery was only four weeks, it felt a lot longer for the television personality.

But what happens after the 2 weeks Vanna hosts? Let's investigate.

It looks like Wheel will go into reruns for the two weeks of December 23-January 3. The show very rarely does midseason reruns, but these are typically low-rated holiday weeks. If Vanna continued to host it with some NFL mascots like Swoop from the Philadelphia Eagles and Freddie the falcon from the Atlanta Falcons, it could be an interesting 2 weeks onwards. But there is more.

She then returns Jan. 6 for one more week as host. However, a surprise letter toucher will fill her spot she took for 37 seasons. As soon as we tell you who it is, we'll pass it along to you. Case closed.......kinda.

That's it for this week. Today's lump of coal in the stocking is a pair of pants I'm about to give to Lizzo if she ever sneaks herself into a Grizzlies game and not show her.......um..........................derriere. There.
