Me: Welcome to Game Show Live! As dead as it gets,as creepy as it happens and scary whenever you don't feel like it. We have some special guests stopping by the studio today, they've been here on Friday and now they'll be our house band today. Here they are, direct from the Bill Walton Resort, they're.......The Slashstreet boys!

Yes, the Slashstreet Boys, they'll take us to break but we must start with....

The whatstrending.com Opening pumpkin Toss-Up story.

FOX is announcing premiere dates for FLIRTY DANCING (Dec. 29), LAST MAN STANDING (Jan. 2), DEPUTY (Jan. 2), GORDON RAMSAY'S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK (Jan. 7), 9-1-1: LONE STAR (Jan. 19, following the NFC Championship Game, and Jan. 20), OUTMATCHED (Jan. 23), THE MASKED SINGER (Feb. 2, following Super Bowl LIV), LEGO MASTERS (Feb. 5) and DUNCANVILLE (Feb. 16). Additionally, 9-1-1 and EMPIRE will return in the spring, when new dramas FILTHY RICH and neXt also will premiere.
FLIRTY DANCING, the innovative new series that is part performance, part blind date, and all about romantic chemistry, previews Sunday, Dec. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/5:00-6:00 PT live to all time zones), following the NFL ON FOX doubleheader. The series then makes its time period premiere Wednesday, Jan. 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). In the show, hosted by actress, producer and dancer Jenna Dewan, complete strangers are taught a dance routine, then meet for the first time on a blind date at a breathtaking location, as they dance together without saying a word. Singles will perform a different choreographed dance with each of two potential love interests, before choosing the one with whom he/she has the strongest connection. Will it be love at first dance?
TV's #1 entertainment program, THE MASKED SINGER, returns for its third season on Sunday, Feb. 2 (10:30-11:40 PM ET/7:30-8:40 PM PT live to all time zones), following SUPER BOWL LIV. The series then makes its time period premiere Wednesday, Feb. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The singing competition series features celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer is shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, complete with full face mask to conceal his or her identity. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who is singing behind the mask. Ranging from Grammy Award winners to legendary athletes, and everything in between, the singers may attempt to throw the crowd off of their scent, while keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. One singer will be eliminated each week, ultimately revealing his or her true identity.
Following THE MASKED SINGER's time period premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 5, is new competition series LEGO MASTERS (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Based on the hit British reality-competition series of the same name, LEGO MASTERS brings imagination, design and creativity to life when teams of LEGO enthusiasts go head-to-head, with infinite possibilities and an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks. Teams of two will compete against each other in ambitious brick-building challenges to be crowned the country's most talented amateur LEGO builders. In each episode, the competing pairs who most impress the judges will progress to the next round, until the finale, during which the top teams will face off for a cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy and the grand title of LEGO MASTERS.

Kim & Ket choose a horror film, each episode, and determine whether they'd be the ones to stay alive at the end. It's like predicting on the NFL games a day before Sunday. THey'll go from classsic to B-movies and every Monday, they'll give you shorter episodes on trailers for upcoming films and such. They'll even break out in song often too. Things happen in 3 days. Labor Day. Memorial Day. MLK Day. The Emmys?

Facebook Twitter Print Email Show more sharing options NATAS The Daytime Emmy Awards is adding another night for 2020. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences said today that next year's celebration of all things daytime TV will be divided into three soirees: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 12-14, all at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
"We are thrilled to add a third night of celebrating the diversity and talents of our Daytime community," NATAS President and CEO Adam Sharp said in a statement. "We have seen how the Television Academy's expansion of the Primetime Creative Arts ceremonies has made room for more honorees to have their well-earned moment in the sun, and we hope to replicate their success."
The Creative Arts Emmys are handed out two nights in September, the weekend before the Primetime Emmys.

The return of the big smooch of 2 companies and it's not slobbery and it goes like this......

CBS Corp. and Viacom announced on Monday that Shari Redstone's family-owned holding company National Amusements formally approved of the merger between the two companies. The new target for the deal closing is early December, the two companies said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Redstone is the president of National Amusements, which is the controlling stakeholder for both companies, and she will serve as chairman of the board of the combined ViacomCBS.
Redstone had been pushing for the two companies to merger for roughly three years. In August, CBS and Viacom announced the long-awaited merger of the companies, which split back in 2005.
CBS and Viacom agreed to an all-stock deal that valued Viacom at roughly $12 billion. CBS shareholders will own approximately 61% and Viacom shareholders will own approximately 39% of the new company, ViacomCBS. The company has touted an annual revenue of $28 billion.
Viacom CEO Bob Bakish is set to lead the newly combined company as president and CEO, with Joe Ianniello serving as chairman and CEO of CBS, which puts him in charge of all CBS-branded assets. Ianniello has been serving as acting president and CEO since last September, following the resignation of Leslie Moonves.

We go across....the pond to this.

Simon Cowell had hoped revamping the talent competition with celebrity contestants would boost its viewing figures.
Judging by last night's numbers, it seems his latest shake-up isn't having the desired effect.
Last night, X Factor Celebrity went live for the first time, ending with a controversial result that saw Olivia Olson sent home in floods of tears. Only 3.5million viewers tuned in for the two-hour broadcast, making it the least-watched live show ever in overnight ratings. It was down on the audition episodes, which faced criticism after they ended with the judges eliminating only two contestants.
However, the ITV staple is performing well in the key 16-34 demographic.
Bosses are also pleased with the consolidated ratings, which include catch-up and online viewing. A source said: "We are thrilled with the audience reaction to our first live show last night, with The X Factor: Celebrity winning its slot among 16 to 34s by 137 per cent.
"The X Factor: Celebrity is currently consolidating overall at 7.5 million."
Needless to say, The X Factor faced a drubbing from its long-term Saturday night rival Strictly Come Dancing. The juggernaut pulled in a whopping 9million people for its Halloween week performances.

The singing contest also failed to topple BBC One's The Wall. The new gameshow, hosted by Danny Dyer, averaged 3.8million viewers thanks to its colossal lead-in from Strictly.

But back to more......merging.

Banijay Group, the French production group behind "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and "Survivor," announced its acquisition of Endemol Shine on Saturday, the company that produces "Black Mirror," "Peaky Blinders" and "MasterChef."
The deal is valued at $2.2 billion, a person with knowledge of the terms told TheWrap.
This acquisition was expected to come to fruition any day.
Now official, Banijay and Endemol are only awaiting regulatory and customary approvals.
"Endemol Shine brings an incredible array of industry-leading talent, globally-renowned brands and high-quality creative content," Banijay CEO Marco Bassetti said in a statement. "Combining the resources of these two companies will instantly strengthen our position in the global market, and our capabilities across genres will further define us as a go-to provider of first class IP worldwide."
The combination of France-based Banijay and Netherlands-based Endemol Shine will create a global powerhouse, with the new firm enjoying a larger content catalog than international giants like BBC Studios. Endemol Shine's 120 production labels, which includes more than 60,000 hours of scripted and unscripted shows, will now belong to Banijay, according to a joint press release from the companies.
Endemol Shine has been owned by Apollo Global Management and Disney, which took a 50% cut in the company after its $71.3 billion acquisition of Fox's film and TV assets closed earlier this year.

The woman who ended it, Emma Boettcher, will also play in the tournament. Ken Jennings, the only competitor to ever win more "Jeopardy!" games than Holzhauer, is not in this one.
Below is the schedule and mini bios of each day's players.

In Week 2 of the tournament, the semifinals air Monday, Nov. 11 – Wednesday, Nov. 13 and the two-day finals air Thursday, Nov. 14 and Friday, Nov. 15. The winner will claim the $250,000 grand prize, while the second-place finisher earns $100,000, and third place takes home $50,000.

Now for a Gamestop Game Break. We have this 1-star Yelp review. I need for you to figure it out. Here's the proof.

“I can gladly say if the option of watching paint dry whilst listening to ‘I Want My Baby Back’ by Jimmy Cross or go to Busch Gardens for the day, I would gladly choose the paint-drying option and Jimmy Cross music. ------------- has to be the biggest waste of time since Tim Tebow’s attempt at an NFL career.
To start, some roller coasters were literally closed at 1 p.m. Okay, well that's awesome due to the fact they have a total of six rides. Secondly, if you want to see animals and go on maybe two rides then yeah go ahead and waste $90 for the day. Thirdly, everything in the gift shop and markets were absurdly overpriced. --------------- already robs you of your time and money, least they can do is reduce some prices.
The ‘roller coasters’ are more so geared to nine-year-olds; a newborn baby may actually be safe on these ‘roller coasters.’ While I don't advise to bring your baby on roller coasters, any young child wanting to overcome their fear of roller coasters, this is the place for you!
Alright, so I wouldn't waste my money ever again at this garbage amusement park, some roller coasters were closed, and all the roller coaster are not thrill seeking at all. Save the $90, take the kids to the Buccaneers practice for free, get some autographs, grab dinner and call it a day. PASS ON --------------------.” — J.j. S.
