The 18 elite contestants returning for the "Jeopardy! All-Star Games" are among the winningest and most popular players in recent series history.
Six teams are composed of three players each, with one designated team captain. The team captains are some of the most notable names to ever play the game: Colby Burnett, Buzzy Cohen, Julia Collins, Ken Jennings, Austin Rogers and Brad Rutter. The teams are as follows:
- Team Colby: Colby Burnett, Pam Mueller and Alan Lin

The "Jeopardy! All-Star Games" will air over the course of 10 weekdays from Wednesday, Feb. 20, to Tuesday, March 5. The first round of play consists of two, two-game matches played over three shows.

The first-round match-ups are:

Madison: Some members of our viewing audience will receive..

Dinner for 2.......at a local Chick-Fil-a where you can get all the chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and chicken nuggets.....including the grilled ones. It's finger Cluckin' good. Now back to our chicken head.......seriously, was this in the script? Anyways, here's Pierre Kelly.

Me: Oh don't worry. Had to incorporate that in the sponsor by our writers. Because of chicken. Care for some waffle fries, Madi?

Madi: I'm down for it.

Me: Cool. Anyways, we have returned and the Winner twins will be here later to talk a collab with Kandee Johnson. It'll be a fun one.

Nickelodeon is bringing back "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" with new host John Cena, who will also executive produce.
The original game show was hosted by stand-up comedian Jeff Foxworthy and aired on the Fox broadcast network. "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" was created by Mark Burnett and hails from MGM.
The format of "5th Grader," which has been adapted in several countries, sees adult contestants answer questions as if they came from an elementary grade school quiz. There were actual (smart) fifth graders on stage to help out, or to make the adult look dumb — sometimes both.
The first "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" aired from 2007 to 2015, over which Foxworthy amassed 111 episodes. In 2010, the show was nominated for — but did not win — a Daytime Emmy Award..

Keshet's secretive entertainment format 2025 finally launched last week and it turns out it's all about money.
The series, which is running as a live daily prime-time strip on Keshet 12 four days a week, began with 16 contestants at the gates of a futuristic Westworld-meets-Truman Show-style city on the outskirts of Yavne.
Eight duels took place with viewers deciding who would enter the city and who would not; each contestant received a smart watch loaded with 12,000 NIS ($3,300) and immediately had to decide how much to share with their opponent – four of the eight losing contestants who received the highest amount of money from their opponents who did get in also entered the city. Now, it seems, that the aim of the game is to keep or make as much money as possible in order to win the competition and an apartment worth 1.4 NIS ($390,000) with a giant scoreboard keeping track.
The contestants, who are a broad mix of ages and social groups, aren't entirely cut off from the real world but communication comes at a cost.
The show, which has also been described as Black Mirror-meets-Monopoly, was developed by Yoram Zak, who was the director of the Israeli version of Big Brother, and Erez Tal, who hosted the Endemol Shine format.
Keshet boss Avi Nir said that the Israeli firm has been approached by a raft of international broadcasters and producers but has not yet set any global deals.
So, how did it do and will the global community still be keen to replicate its reported $15M set? It did ok. While it was the most watched primetime show on its launch night with 565,000 viewers, was the highest launch for a new format since Channel 2's split in November 2017 and comfortably beat Channel 13's remake of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, it only received a 21.1% rating on its opening night. This fell to 412,000 viewers and a 17.5% rating on its second night but did outperform the competition including Big Brother VIP and was up against the Champions League fixture between Real Madrid and Ajax.
Plenty more to come as it is set to run through the spring.

Relationship Disasters. A month of disastrous TV shows involving dating.

You have an excuse to see this disaster.

This was Excused, and aired in syndication from 2011-2013.

In the first round, two contestants (either two males or two females; for the second season, episodes in which male contestants choose female suitors are less commonly seen) are introduced and are asked by host Shlesinger about what they look for in a mate. Originally, the contestants then had to decide which potential suitors that they wanted to let in by watching a feed from a security camera located outside the front door of the house to give their first impression by explaining why they should be given the chance to date the contestants; often, Shlesinger will give snarky commentary to the potential suitors whether they are chosen to enter the house or not. This round was eliminated beginning in the second season and four suitors are chosen before the show for the contestants to choose from, though Shlesinger's commentary was retained as an element.

Once four potential suitors are chosen, the two contestants then view video dating profiles to determine based on their personality and other personal details they reveal as to which two people they will choose to go on to the third round (starting with season two, the contestants' decision whom to excuse in this round and the additional eliminations shown thereafter are now only revealed once that person is announced to have been eliminated, instead of being first revealed by the contestants to Shlesinger shortly beforehand). The group of four is cut down to two remaining potential suitors, who then will go out on dates with the two contestants. The two contestants then will decide which of the two remaining suitors will go on to go out on a one-on-one date with each of the contestants, in which the contestant has to impress their date, before the suitor decides which one of the two contestants they choose to go out on a second date.[4]

That's it for this week. Today's consolation prize is a makeup kit full of blush products. It can make a girl blush, but then again, too much blush turns a girl into a clown.
