Drop the Mic is produced by CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73 Productions. James Corden, Ben Winston, Jensen Karp and Joanna Gallagher serve as executive producers.
Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild is a Snoop-i-fied version of the classic game show set in Snoop Dogg's very own casino, which includes an oversized slot machine, giant dice and playing cards. Snoop has brought his friends back for all new categories, with cameos by Ice Cube, Hannibal Buress, Antonio Brown, Julian Edelman, Michael Strahan, Wiz Khalifa, Paris Jackson, Busy Philipps, G-Eazy, Cheech & Chong, Biz Markie, Bill Nye and Xzibit. Lego Masters is heading to the U.S. Endemol Shine North America and UK-based independent production company Tuesday's Child are teaming with Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment to jointly produce a U.S. version of the hit British series. Talks with potential American-based platforms are set to start later this month.
Originally created by Tuesday's Child, Lego Masters first launched on Channel 4 in the UK in 2017, quickly becoming the network's highest-rated new series, nearly doubling its primetime average with young adults.
Last year, Endemol Shine announced Lego Masters landed its first international deals, in Australia on Nine Network and Germany's RTL. Channel 4's second season in the UK launched in November to strong ratings.
The official description: Lego Masters pits enthusiasts in a competition that starts with a single Lego brick and infinite possibilities and concludes with mind-blowing builds that will surely both inspire legions of loyal Lego followers and capture the imagination of new fans.
Plan B will executive produce with ESNA's Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre and Michael Heyerman, Tuesday's Child's Karen Smith and Steph Harris and Jill Wilfert and Robert May for The Lego Group..

Six years after the 1961 debut of "It's Academic," Washington's high school quiz show, Giant Food signed on as its chief sponsor. Israel "Izzy" Cohen, owner of the supermarket chain, thought it was important to offer support. "The reason was that Izzy Cohen, the son of immigrants, was raised with the idea that education is the one thing that nobody can take away from you," said Susan Altman, the show's executive producer and daughter of the founder, Sophie Altman. People may never lose their educations, but the same can't be said of TV shows and their TV studios.
Some time in the next year or two, the 1950s-era NBC4 studio on Nebraska Avenue NW in which the show has taped since its birth will undergo a much-needed renovation. Last summer, Channel 4 informed Altman that it would be prudent for her to start looking for a new taping location. "We love the show," Matt Glassman, assistant news director at NBC4, told me. "We've aired it for a lot of decades. This isn't anything other than 'Let's do some careful advance planning to protect the show.' " He said NBC4 would be happy to continue broadcasting the show, wherever it's produced. Other broadcast residents have already moved out, including MSNBC. "Meet the Press," with which "It's Academic" shares studio space, will move downtown later this year. The current "It's Academic" season — 27 regular shows, nine playoffs, three semifinals and a championship game — ends in June. The next season will start in September.

Fox is set to reboot the reality dating program "Paradise Hotel," the network announced on Tuesday.
The show, which first aired on the network in 2003, puts a group of singles in a "Temptation Island"-style tropical resort where they vote each other off each week to make room for a new guest. The longer they stay on the show, the more money they make.
The new iteration of "Paradise Hotel" will encourage viewers to play along at home, using social media to try and influence what happens on screen, including who stays and who goes.
"Jersey Shore" producer SallyAnn Salsano of 495 Productions will executive produce alongside Becca Walker and Celia Taylor of Mentorn Media, the original creators of the "Paradise Hotel" format.

Going Across.......The pond to this.

Ant and Dec have won the TV presenter category at the National Television Awards (NTAs) for the last 17 years, but can they do it again? That's the question raised by the release of the shortlists for this year's awards, to be broadcast live on ITV on 22 January.
Ant's only presenting gig alongside Dec last year was on Saturday Night Takeaway. After his arrest for drink-driving, he stepped back from presenting duties. Ant was subsequently seen in pre-recorded material for Britain's Got Talent, but Dec hosted the live shows alone. Dec then hosted I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! with fellow nominee Holly Willoughby. It was the first time since the show began that Ant had stepped back from presenting duties.
All of which has got people wondering if Holly might have a shot at breaking Ant and Dec's winning streak. A hit with viewers for her I'm a Celeb... Get Me Out of Here! stint, her main presenting job is on ITV's This Morning. Her co-host is Phillip Schofield, who is also nominated for the best presenter prize.

The Chase host Bradley Walsh and Graham Norton are also in the running - but Willoughby would seem to be Ant and Dec's main competition.
Elsewhere there is fierce competition in some of the more established categories, like The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment award. I'm a Celebrity... goes up against Love Island, which had its best ever viewing figures in 2018. Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and The Graham Norton Show also feature in the category. Love Island and All Round to Mrs Brown's are in the running as well.

Canada's Bell Media is set to air the U.S. reboot of classic reality series Temptation Island. The broadcaster will air the series on its CTV and E! Entertainment channels as well as SVOD service Crave after striking a deal with distributor Banijay Rights.
The 11-episode U.S. series, which is produced by Banijay Studios North America, will air later this month on USA Network, hosted by Mark L. Walberg who hosted the original series that premiered in 2001. It will simulcast in Canada.
Temptation Island follows four dating couples at a pivotal time in their relationship, where they must mutually decide if they are ready to commit to one another for the rest of their lives — or should go their separate ways. Together, the couples travel to the tropical paradise of Maui, Hawaii, where they join 24 eligible men and women. There, they live the "single life," in a test that is meant to help answer their most difficult questions about their relationship.
Temptation Island is executive produced by Banijay Studios North America's David Goldberg and Caroline Baumgard and Scott Jeffress.

Time for a Gamestop Game Break.  Get ready to play America's growing foodie sensation......

Name That Southern Food

Guess this delicatessen from this clue: "Although I may be from Chattanooga, the WWE's Ember may have one and I can be in Mobile, Alabama for Mardi Gras if you catch it."

It may be a head scratcher, but we'll give you a Google Play music interlude to think it over because Zindee....or Zach and Lindee is coming to our blog today. Consisting of Zach and Lindee Nelson, they do silly challenges such as........

But all in all, they make serious music together.....like this one.

So......did you Name That Southern Food. Well, If you're a WWE fan like myself, you know Ember's last name is Moon, so she would have.......A Moon pie!

http://www.qwizx.com/gssfx/usa/sc-sprintding.wav

Since New Year's Eve 2008, the city of Mobile, Alabama has been lowering a 12-foot-tall (3.7 m) lighted mechanical moon pie to celebrate the coming of the new year. The giant Moon pie descends the 34 story RSA BankTrust building at the strike of midnight.[3] Every NYE, the world's largest Moon pie is cut and served to the public as part of the festivities. It weighs 55 pounds (25 kg) and contains 45,000 calories (190 kJ).[4]

An annual RC Cola and Moon pie festival is celebrated in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, and a Moon pie eating contest is held in Bessemer, Alabama.

On October 14, 2017, Matt Stonie, a competitive eater famous in national eating contests, ate 73 Single-Decker Moon pies in eight minutes at the Bass Pro Shops store in Memphis, TN.

Newport, Tennessee held its first annual Moon pie Festival in May 2012.

And if you wanna go to Mobile for Mardi Gras, Check this out: The Moon pie became a traditional "throw" (an item thrown from a parade float into the crowd) of Mardi Gras "krewes" (parade participants) in Mobile, Alabama during 1956,[5][6] followed by other communities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The westernmost outpost of the MoonPie as an important Carnival throw is Slidell, Louisiana, which has a parade by "The Krewe of Mona Lisa and MoonPie". Also, in the town of Oneonta, Alabama, there is a MoonPie eating contest started by Wal-Mart employee John Love when he inadvertently ordered too many. This anecdote was featured in Sam Walton's autobiography, Made in America.

Oh, and it has a Twitter too: Moon Pie Twitter Page

As a matter of fact, go to this:

Especially on Facebook too: https://www.facebook.com/MoonPie/

Even our offices have moon pies too. When can I have one?
