This week.....The 2018 Wayneys Preview....

Food Network sinks its appetite into fall season.....

And where quiz apps go in the next year. All this and.....

We pay tribute to CLaire Wineland.

Let's..............Get.....................Lit!!!!!!!!!!

Madison Brunoehler: From coast to coast..............

And Across America.....and the world.........this is..............

Now here is America's favorite contestant, Pierre Kelly!!!!!

Me: Thank you Madi2TheMax and this of course is  Game show Live! As live as it gets, as live as it happens and as live whenever you feel like it. Let's get into it with......

 The whatstrending.com Opening Toss-Up story.

The 2018 Wayneys are here and we preview the worst.....of the worst. Let's look at a few of them.

First off, Candy Crush. If WWE Champions were to have a game show of its own, then it would involve a few tricks up their sleeve. candy Crush on the other hand has those tricks and mini games were based off of the app itself. But instead of who could swipe the fastest, it was stipulations to slow the pace of the game sdown, not to mention the use of aerial skills that killed the show.

Next up, Cash Expolsion. It seems that Lottery game shows have gone by the wayside since the 2010s and Cash Explosion remains the bright spot in a dead lottery game show mall. It proves a local game show has staying power and most recently, it had a few changes to keep up with the younger viewers and match the look of primetime game shows on network television.

Next up, Jeopardy! for the PS4 and Xbox One. Back then, previous generation incarnations had of course, the tandem of Alex and Johnny, but on this version, it's only graphics that made it look like a powerpoint presentation and a female voice replacing Alex. Not good.

Moving along, Just Like Mom And Dad from BYU tv. Think the original was cringeworthy? Well, this right here is more of the same....except with much livelier audience....and a much........average couple as hosts.

To wrap it up, the firemaking challenge from Survivor. The desciption from Game Show Garbage says this:

The 2nd entrance from Survivor in two years and while Varner's outing was bad on a moral standard, the added twist of the Firemaking challenge was bad on a gameplay standard, allowing for someone to idol their way to the finale, which happened in Heroes v Healers v Hustlers, making the votes completely meaningless. What bugged many people about this the most was that it was seen as out of the blue, unannounced and many believe it as a ploy to make Ben Driebergen the winner by the "Survivor Gods", leading to the #DevonGotScrewed hashtag trending for awhile.

And there you have it.....I guess. Vote at this link right here:

And see who is the bottom of the game show barrel.

After this commercial word,  We're hungry for food games. That's.......when Game Show Live returns.

(fade to break)

Madison: Some members of our viewing audience will receive....

A supply of Sun Chips to go with your sub sandwich from Subway. Subway sandwiches have 6 grams of fat or less than any fast food chain in the world. So get to Subway today. Now back to our subway train conductor....Pierre Kelly!

Me: Thank you Madi and welcome back. Later on, we compare Alien or Predator.....or The Terminator or Jason.

'Tis the season for frights and delights, as Food Network rolls out two returning series, one all-new competition, plus five sensational specials capturing the Halloween spirit for over 20 hours of thematic holiday programming. The lineup features new seasons of fan-favorites Halloween Baking Championship and Halloween Wars, along with new Halloween-themed specials featuring some of Food Network's biggest stars, including Duff Goldman and Trisha Yearwood. And don't miss new series Haunted Gingerbread Showdown, as Food Network celebrates the scariest, and the most wickedly-delicious holiday of the year.
"Food Network kicks off the holiday season with the return of our Halloween programming lineup that features familiar faces and spine-tingling competitions that capture and exceed viewers' imagination," said Courtney White, General Manager and Executive Vice President, Programming, Food Network and HGTV. "From spell-binding edible sensations to colorful costumes and more, Food Network is the go-to destination for jaw-dropping Halloween creations that feature mind-blowing skill and artistry."
Halloween Baking Championship returns on Monday, September 24th at 9pm ET/PT and is filled with more hauntingly delicious treats. Comedian John Henson, along with judges Carla Hall, Lorraine Pascale, and Zac Young test the skills of eight talented bakers as they show off their creepiest, scariest skills over six episodes with bone-chilling challenges. From spider web desserts to towering confections of terror, only one will frighten the competition for a chance to be featured in Food Network Magazine as the winner of Halloween Baking Championship, along with the $25,000 grand prize! Take a look back at some of the most outrageous moments and disgustingly-decadent desserts from seasons past on Best of Halloween Baking Championship, premiering Monday, October 1st at 10pm ET/PT, with host John Henson counting down all the diabolical desserts and creepy ingredients that viewers have come to love.
On Sunday, September 30th at 8pm ET/PT, viewers get a behind the scenes look at the weeks and months leading up to the best pumpkin carvers, cake and sugar artists entering the Halloween Wars kitchen, on Road to Halloween Wars. Year round, these gleefully ghoulish geniuses work to hone their craft, with dreams of supreme victory. From points near and far around the globe, find out who has what it takes to be chosen to compete in the new season of Halloween Wars, which premieres on Sunday, September 30th at 9pm ET/PT. Jonathan Bennett returns to host as six teams each made up of an expert pumpkin carver, a cake artist, and a sugar master battle it out over five episodes to create Halloween-themed edible displays that are as scary as they are delicious. Each teams' creations are judged by award-winning cake decorator Shinmin Li, horror film special effects master Todd Tucker, and a rotating panel of celebrity guest judges, including movie director Mick Garris, Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), and more, to determine which team takes home the grand prize of $50,000! And don't miss Halloween Wars: Even More Monstrous Scares, premiering Sunday, September 30th at 10pm ET/PT. Each Halloween for nearly a decade, the world's greatest pumpkin carvers, cake and sugar artists have joined forces to bring to life the most mind-blowing and terrifying Halloween creations imaginable, as they compete for the grand prize. It's time to dig up even more of the creepiest ghosts, scariest witches, werewolves, yummiest treats, and most mind-blowing displays in the history of Halloween Wars.
This Halloween, Food Network is putting the haunted back into haunted house with the thrilling competition Haunted Gingerbread Showdown, premiering Sunday, October 7th at 10pm ET/PT. Over four episodes, host Sandra Lee pits nine of the best gingerbread artists in the country against each other to create spooky gingerbread masterpieces that embody the season. Judges Jamika Pessoa and Jason Smith are joined by rotating judges, including the "Mistress of the Dark" herself, Elvira, to determine the winners of the first three heats, who will square off against each other in the finale for a chance to win the ultimate Halloween treat -- $25,000 and to be featured in Food Network Magazine. But beware, these aren't your grandma's cute gingerbread houses. With surprises lurking around every corner, these wildly haunted original creations tell a darker story.
There are even more outlandish and spooky cakes on the hour-long special Halloween Cake-Off, premiering on Monday, October 8th at 10pm ET/PT. Cake master Duff Goldman hosts this unconventional competition where four professional bakers must prove their expertise in the studio kitchen and within their own bakeries. For the first challenge in the studio, the bakers create cakes incorporating a surprise selection of candies and treats, but one will be ghosted from the competition. With three remaining bakers, they head back to their bakeries to design, bake, and construct an elaborate Halloween-themed showpiece cake that transforms from good to evil by either moving, bursting, shattering or even melting. The one that impresses judges Waylynn Lucas and Pichet Ong with presentation, transformation, and taste, will take home $10,000 and be crowned winner of the Halloween Cake-Off!

And finally, the next best bachelor since Jesse Palmer.....

Colton Underwood burst onto the scene during season 14 of "The Bachelorette." It was his good looks, love for dogs and vulnerability that charmed not only Bachelorette Becca Kufrin, but all of Bachelor Nation. This former NFL player made a play for Becca's heart but was sadly sent home after professing he had fallen in love. Now Colton is back and ready to capture hearts across America yet again when he returns for another shot at love, starring in the 23rd season of ABC's hit romance reality series "The Bachelor," when it premieres in January 2019.
The announcement and Colton's exclusive appearance were made on "Good Morning America" this morning.
Colton, 26, was best known for his candor when speaking about his virginity and had America standing by him when he discussed the sensitive topic during his emotional breakdown on "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" reunion.

The question is: To what Early film star's grave did the famous Lady in Black make regular pilgrimages to in order to place a single red rose on?

We'll give you the answer as Game Show Live! has a world premiere:

It's the mini series premiere of teh web series Super Single starring our very own remote control redhead, Christa Nannos.

As for me and my Mountain Dew Code Red, here's the answer:

When she was 14, according to an account Miss Flame told many times, she was deathly ill. Several times Valentino, as a favor to her mother, went to her hospital bedside and placed a red rose in her hand.
''You're not going to die at all,'' he was said to have told her. ''You are going to live for many more years. But one thing for sure, if I die before you do, please come and stay by me because I don't want to be alone.''
Miss Flame recovered but the actor died in 1926 at the age of 31 of complications after surgery for an ulcer and appendicitis.
For approximately 30 years Miss Flame would make a trip to the Valentino grave, dressed in black, taking a single red rose.
In recent years, however, she stopped going to the grave except on a few occasions because dozens of women in black would show up at Valentino's crypt on the anniversary of his death.

Game Show Live! continues to be an all-ages experience and one fan we found a little cutie who likes a particular trivia app. Look.

Thankfully, she may be over 18 to take Sarah Pribis' job.

Last one of the day: Game Grumps is looking for smaller similar Youtube channels to audition and join them for a once in a lifetime journey to join Danny.....

The Lightning Rant. 90 seconds to talk about quiz apps in the next year  starting from.................

http://www.qwizx.com/gssfx/usa/mtg-buzzin2.wav

Now.

With HQ already a year old, we got a slew of live mobile quiz apps and we think it's getting better and better than ever. Now we got the rest of 2018 and 2019 ahead because in the next year or so, we think that HQ could go to live TV when playing from your phone thanks to Apple TV and soon Amazon will be in the online picture. That's Right will gain bigger sponsors turning it into an ultimate success story. It's pretty easy to make quiz apps a break from everyday life and in a year from now, the craze will continue to make it well known. if you want to have a cable network or whatever media company to have a quiz app, I suggest they all jump in. Pretty soon, it'll be turned into a mobile genre of today.
